Hey everyone! I work in an Enterprise Environment and I have regular users and elevated users. When a regular user tries to open Adobe Reader it would crash after about 20 seconds. So I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling. The version is 2100720099, the most current version. I have noticed that afterwards I was able to keep it open as a regular user and another one of my co-workers were able to as well but another regular user was not able to keep it open even after uninstalling and reinstalling. I even signed into it their system with my elevated account and still, it continues to crash on her system. I really noticed the problem definitely occurs when a user tries to open a digitally signed document, as well. Normally, if the user has not uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe, attempting to open or Enable All Features on a Digitally Signed document causes it to crash right away. For STIGS and GPOs we have FIPS Enabled and the Trusted Certificates from an Adobe AATL and EUTL serve
This happened before and it's happened again, spontaneously today: Acrobat Reader DC is requiring me to verify my identity and log in EVERY time I open a document. This is crazy making.Chat told me to uninstall and reinstall. Done.Chat told me to set my default to Acrobat Reader DC. It already was.Chat told me to come here... so here I am.PDFs opened fine yesterday. What happened, and how do I fix it?

The images in these documents used to print (about a month ago). Now, when I download the confirmation, this is what I get. Please advise.
I would like to know if I uninstall the app Creative cloud, Adobe reader continiouss functioning?

Hello! I wanted to come and see if there is any possibility of Read Out Loud being added to your Android Reader app! I love the tool offered on the desktop and I've been using it while I've been in college over the last several years! It has literally been a major factor in me getting this far in my education. I became legally blind 8 years ago. Now I'm working on my thesis every chance I get - and I can't always have my computer with me. Being able to switch back and forth to my notes without interrupting reading makes Read Out Loud much better than TTS, which is okay, but isn't helping me now. Is this feature coming at all? Or do I need to settle for one of these others that don't even qualify as second-rate?
I just went into reader and it began popping up a dialog asking for my birthdate. Every time I open a file it does this. That's intrusive and not Adobe's business. How do I get it to stop?
Pleaser see attached. Does anybody know why checking the Select Tool in the Preferences, General doesn't retain the tool as a default? In my case, the Hand Tool remains a default even after I save the Preferences and reopen the program.

Associates are opening PDF files on our network share. PDF documents were signed. When opened with Adobe XI or Reader DC, the file contents shows, "EXPIRED" in the document and the actual contents are not visable. It was communicated that this happened in the past and as long as the associates used Adobe Acrobat Reader AND not Reader DC, the contents would be visable. That is not an option anymore. How do I fix?
I have a fillable form that I would like to sign and still be able to keep it as a fillable form. Is there a way to do this? Right now, as soon as the fillable form is signed and saved you are no longer able to fill it out online.
Since the update of 31th of July, my logo has a very bad quality converting a Word doc to PDF (Windows 10)
I am not able to reinstall Adobe reader. I had it installed for years, and now it disappeared for unknown reasons. (I have windows 10 last build), Now I try to reinstall, manage to download the file readerdc64_en_xa_crd_install.exe, and run it. Everything seems to work, but at the end I don't know what I have: the icon on the desktop is labeled "adobe Acrobat DC", not Acrobat reader as before, and also clicking on a pdf file the menu shows "open with Adobe Acrobat DC". I don't understand the disappearance of "reader". Reader only appears in the upper left corner of the screen where the file is opened (the file is correctly opened with acrobat reader). Last strange thing: if I try to install the Real Acrobat DC, the installation fails because "I have alraedy a more functional version of the progam (really?). Try to disinstall and retry". Nice, but when I disinstall Adobe acrobat, in fact I disinstall adobe reader.Am I running in circles here?
As the screenshot shown below, there are only five panes in all without "bookmark". How could I add a bookmark funtion on Reader DC, the latest edition?
I am opening a pdf document and as soon as I open it, a note pops up saying:A font package is required to correctly display this image. Click "OK" to direct your browser to download the add-on from adobe.com. After installation, you will need to close and re-open the document to correctly view contents dependent on these newly installed fonts. Which is fine and has happened before , but this time after I hit OK, it just sits there and doesn't open up a browser to start downloading. I tried a few times with no success. Any suggestion?
Hi, I have a word document with several figures and all were generated as .emf files.I save the document in PDF with the "save as" option, as this allows to keep the links i have in the text as well as the quality of the images (so print in PDF is not an option). When I open the PDF file, I can see most figures, but some disappear and an error message appears: "an error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem." this happens only with certain figures in .emf, the same figure saved in formats such as jpeg, tiff and png does not have the same problem (but the quality is much worse). Another thing I have tried is, from word, to "save as Adobe PDF" (this I can do only from my work PC as on my personal laptop I don't have this option). In this case I can see the images I could not before, however they are messed up with additional lines that do not exist in the figures. I

I opened Adobe Reader DC today and thought the toolbar looked different. The Text replace tool has gone (the one with the crossed-out T and the comment bubble beside it)! I think Reader downloaded an update yesterday. If I want to replace text (instead of just deleting or inserting, I can still do it manually (by highlighting the text I want to change and typing my changes). However, the changes appear in red and blue, which they didn't do before (text was just blue before). I've checked the tools available and there's no option for the Text replace tool any more. Also, the highlight colour has changed - it's now orange instead of yellow. Is this because of the update too?>Was this meant to happen? I use the Replace text tool a lot. Please can In have it back?
I am encountering the following message when opening a particular .pdf: Cannot extract the embedded font "Arial,Bold". Some characters may not display or print correctly. I've attempted to open his file at different PCs-message persists. Adobe Reader 8.1.2 Windows XP SP3 Dell Optiplex 745 2GB RAM
I followed this other thread [adober-reader-dc-crashing-because-usr-lib-libcrypto-dylib] and I successfuly removed the DC/Security/ASPKI key from com.adobe.reader.plist and indeed it solved my initial crash problem. However when I'm attaching the PKCS11# module under Preferenes->Signature – Identities & Trusted Certificates-PKCS11# Modules and Tokens it crashes with the following: Process: AdobeReader [1050] Path: /Applications/Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.app/Contents/MacOS/AdobeReader Identifier: com.adobe.Reader Version: 21.007.20099 (21.007.20099) Code Type: X86-64 (Translated) Parent Process: ??? I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on a Mac and whenever I select the type tool in the comments tool set, I get a properties pop-up that covers part of the document and I can't seem to get it to go away or even to move it. It seems locked to the tool bar but I can't find any way to unlock it so I can at least move it.Any help? Thanks.
