My Adobe Acrobat Reader crashes every time I try to mark text and makes it impossible to edit pdf:s. I have tried to download the latest update as well as tried to repair the program, but none of these has helped. At this point I don't know what to do. Any ideas?  

Good afternoon everyone.I have Acrobat Reader 11.0.0 and Windows 7 x32.I ran into a problem. All new pdf files are opened minimized. A file that was expanded to full screen, and then closed, then opens in full screen. But, as I described earlier, other (new) files are opened minimized.Is it possible to do so, perhaps in the Windows registry, so that all new files are always opened in full screen?

Hi all, please assist. My pdf documents automatically convert to .pd_ format. How can I prevent this from happening so that the documents remaining the .pdf format?

What does the feature "scriptver" mean in the list of features off a PDF file ? It mentions a range of number like: 20200218002.08. Has this something to do withe the original date of creation of the document? 

ASIC (Govt agency) issues company returns in PDF and they do not password protect these documents. When I login to their website and download these, they open fine and without a password BUT they have “filename.pdf (SECURED)” in the title. I can email these files to anyone and they open without a password. However, when I try and upload these to the US Trademarks office for proof of company ownership they are rejected as being secured and requiring a password. I have spoken with ASIC at length about this and they say it must be some setting on my Windows 10 PC. Maybe it relates to being logged into a https website and opening a PDF and then downloading it? Does anyone know how to stop this from occurring as it is a frustrating situation! Please help. Thanks

Hola, al hacer clics en rellenar y firmar, cambio el color del documento y no se ve nada. se vuelve negro y blanco como en alto contraste. He desinstalado la aplicación y vuelto a instalar y sigue pasando. Adjunto captura para que veáis lo que pasa. ¿Alguien sabe cómo quitarlo? Gracias y un saludo 

From time to time I get glitches which locks up my Window 10 Home 64 bit system. Usually this necessitates setting up / troubleshooting my physical printer (Epson XP-830) to get it back on line. This usually results in another printer being added to the list of printer options  presented by the reader -- untidy and confusing.Is there any way that I can edit the list presented to remove these redundant items -- that is, limit the list to one entry for the single actual printer?

Hi everyone, When recording my screen with mic audio, Acrobat Reader DC shuts down when I initialise the entereing text and signing funtion.  My laptop runs Windows 10.What I've tried so far:-updating Acrobat Reader DC-removing and reinstalling Acrobat Reader DC-2 different recording programs-different microphone settings-screen recording whilst entering text using Microsoft Word and Notepad (with both recording programs)-opened the document after recording starts -> crashes immediately when function for entering text and signing is initiated-already initialised text entering and signing mode before screen recording starts -> Acrobat Reader DC crashes as soon as recording starts I'm at a loss for what to do next.  Any ideas out there? Thanks, Max

Only one page of my poster got ruined in the printer, and instead of reprinting the whole thing I Just want to print one page (Page "6") Is this possible? 

I cannot print PDF files on a iMac.  The document says that it goes to the printer, but nothing happens.  I can print all other Microsoft programs like Word or Excel, but PDF files do not print.  I am using a Dell 1720 Laser Printer.  I have gone to the Dell website and tried to download new printer drivers but Dell tells me that the drivers are not compatible with OS software.  I can print the Troubleshooting page with no problem just not any PDF files.  I have checked for updates and my computer tells me that my Adobe Acrobat Reader software is up to date.  What can I do to allow my computer to print the PDF files?

I have been getting this message everytime when I try to open any PDF - Application Error 0xc0000003e. Click OK to close application. I have tried to re install the product many times and repaired it too. Removed malwares and malicious files and even did a recovery of window. Still it was not solved. Please help me 

See attached screen shot of digital signatures not appearing correctly.I can see signature fields, shows all signatures are valid.I have created about 2 dozen files today to be digitally signed.I have one employee that this has been an isssue for a couple of weeks.If they sign 1st, then all other signatures do not display correctly. If they sign 2nd or later, their signature displays correctly.I have told them to create a new digital signature file.Any ideas what is causing this? 

This happens everytime. I'm also printing my PDF in grayscale and negative. I wonder how I can prevent this. I also tried selecting-unselecting Auto-Rotate Pages Within Each Sheet and playing around with page order as Horizontal and Vertical. Still no help.

I have a form that I am trying to print on a thermal printer. When I try to print it, it will print the 8" document on a page about 10 feet long. I have to change the page settings every time I open the document to print it. Is there any way to default to the proper page settings? See attached image...

my colleage working at home asked me what the problem was with a date in a pdf file.She sent me the pdf and I saw a correct dateThen she sent me a printscreen of the problemOn my screen I saw the correct date, 25 januari 2021I asked her to print a copy of the file and the date was correct.Anyone who can tell me what the problem could be ? 

I have managed to digitall sign PDF document using digital certificate on USB token - GEMALTO SafeNet Authentication Client using PKCS#11 library on Mac Mini M1. However, the Safenet Authentication Client should be 10.2 (Post GA R4) having support for Mac OS 11 (Big Sur). There is an issue using non-repudiation certificate as it requires to get the PIN at the time of the signing. In the case you are already logged-in the GEMALTO token an error PKCS#11 0x91 happens. But if you are not yet logged in when you select the non-repudiation certificate Acrobat will prompt you for the PIN and the name of the signed document and the valid non-repudation certificate is generated and inserted in PDF document. However, it is not possible to sign another document i.e. to generate non-repudiation signature immediately after unless you first log-off. Nevertheless, it is possible to use other certificate without logging-off, but NOT non-repudiation.

I have an Excel sheet which is setup for printing.  I also have Adobe X Pro installed.  When I print to Adobe PDF, the pdf margins are not the same as the Excel margins. When I select the Adobe PDF printer, I have have selected the same page size as the one in Excel. I am using Office365 and Windows 10.

Hi everyone,I am hoping someone can assist. I have a few windows 10 users on the latest Acrobat Reader that are experiencing a few issues. When opening a PDF file and closing it, the process itself does not end.This results in the next PDF failing to open and nothing is displayed on the screen. Is there a fix for this? Regards,Dylan
