Community - I'm Aware that this topic in the past was posted and work around were posted however they are not very user friendly when this is a key feature of Acrobat DC! our company has both iOS and Windows Acrobat DC, we would like to make a universal form that our Techs can use in the field on iOS, we have created forms that included the need for photos to be taken, from the form, but clicking on the add a photo link on iOS doesn't not present the option for adding a photo. (Please note that this same feature works on both Windows Arobat DC and your competitors iOS PDFExpert) Is this a feature that is being address by Adobe or do we need other subscriptions and services?
All my downloads/PDFs are opening in adobe and I don't want that. I like when they open with preview better. How do I disable adobe from opening my files unless I specify without losing any files?
We recently migrated from Oracle to Salesforce. Our customer letters now download from Salesforce as PDF files with one complete letter per page. Each file contains a variable number of letters, e.g. anywhere from 4 to 10. Again, there is one letter per page containing a date, address block, the body of the letter, and a signature block. In Oracle we could generate a text data file and do a Word merge. That is not currently implemented in our new Salesforce environment. As such, what I have to do is copy and paste the address block from each letter into Word, and then I can print the address block to an envelope from Word. Is there any way to print just the embedded address block to an envelope from within Adobe Reader or Acrobat? Thanks.
Hi guys! I faced a issue that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC prints email saved as PDF incorrectly. The problem is when I print document via Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, text section in the middle of the page disappears. The document represents email saved in PDF format from Microsoft Outlook for Mac (v16.42). MacOS Catalina (v10.15.7) is installed on my MacBook. I choose my email, press “Print” function and then choose “Save as PDF”. Further I open the resulting PDF file and print it via Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (v2020.013.20064). The header of the email with information about senders and recipients is printed correctly, but the first paragraph of the email text is missing. At the same time, the rest text is printed correctly. The result is correct if I open and print PDF file via Mac Preview app. Similar printing problems occur on OS Windows, if Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is used for printing my PDF document. But the result is correct if Google Chrome is used. Could yo

Most likely you'll get some valuable assistance here in the user-to-user support forums too. And in other very frequent occasions Adobe employees will jump in and help and assits Adobe customers here in these forums. But To get help from Adobe you must contact Adobe Customre Service directly. Try here: https://www.adobe.com/about-adobe/contact.html# However, see if this tip helps: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/unable-to-accept-end-user-license.html I think the white box that you're seeing is related to the EndUser License Agreement dialogue window. Since you cannot see the content via GUI close the Adobe Reader DC program and use Finder to navigate to this folder (as indicated in the link above): ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/
I need to give comments on a document, but they need to be anonymous. How do I do that?
Hello, I tried to open some old PDF files (0154.pdf) by trying different versions of Adobe reader DC and Adobe Acrobe DC on a laptop and desktop. But I cannot open them. Here is the error:"Error: the document is damaged and cannot be repaired. Adobe Reader could not open because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)." So I use a text editor app to open one file. See the picture below. Is it a valid PDF file? or what kind of the file is? My friend said he could open it before. How did the pdf file get damaged or...? Any advise? Thanks so much. Andy
When I open a PDF with Adobe it displays at over 200% size.... how can set a default (smaller) size? Thanks.
I am opening some presentations written in PDF, and I see that the resolution of the pages decreases when using the full-screen mode. This does not happen in any other reader as Chrome or Firefox. I have tried to increase the resolution in the panel of preferences without success. Thank you in advance

Just installed Acrobat Reader 10. Under Home, Recent, we get nothing. The setting under Preferences/Documents, Documents in recently used list, is set to 100. We are not connected to the cloud. Under Home, My Computer it shows recent locations. Any thoughts on why we are not getting anything under Recent?
Print windows -> bottom left --> page setup/page settings --> I can't change the page margins! Any suggestion?
Hi!I have an issue in that I was working on a file in adobe reader (filling out a workbook), for a long time (several weeks). I always left it open and the other day I went to close everything and I could not save the file. I do have autosave on my adobe reader but when I look at the file that is saved none of my changes are in it. Is there any way I can recover the version with my changes in it? This represents several weeks worth of work so any help is hugely appreciated!thank you.

Hi I was having problem reading a PDF manual which I had downloaded. It was opening but only showing header and footer. All though other files I had downloaded with "import to Acrobat" was fine. I thought that my Acrobat app has been corrupted. Therefore, I thought that may be I should delete and install again.when I went delete it said all your files will be deleted which I clicked thinking that it will still be there on iCloud. However they were lost. I found out that rather than importing the file into Acrobat which stays in Acrobat Document t Cloud, I should have clicked on save to files which will save give me option to save it on iCloud, iPad, Google Drive or One Drive whichever I had access and subscribed to. Does anyone know how files on Acrobat document cloud are stored and whether get any support from Adobe to retrieve the deleted files?
We have a significant problem with the latest release of Acrobat DC, can anyone please help?We publish booklets which are produced in MS Publisher and saved there as pdfs. People then buy the pdfs and print them at home. Yesterday we found that the latest release of Acrobat DC prints the booklets wrongly, and not consistently. Here are the problems:We create a map in Photoshop Elements 14 with multiple layers, then save it as a gif, then import it into MS Publisher (Office 365). We put a border on it in Publisher. Then we save it as a pdf. When viewed in Acrobat DC it views as it should, but when we print it it comes out which large white bars as follows:This happens all of the time with the same map, but some maps do print OK (but not many!). When we print in the previous version of Acrobat DC it always prints as we see it on the screen. If we print from Acrobat Pro X it prints just fine too. We have used 4 different Windows 10 PCs and 4 different printers, both HP and Canon. Always t
Hi, my bank is telling me that I need to download adobe reader version 4 to be able to access an important document. I have downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (which appears to be the latest version and should open any pfd), but when I go to the message center and click on .pdf link it just opens to a blank browser page. I have also tried this on the mobile app and when I click the link it says "An unknown error occurred. Please try again later." So first question, is Reader Version 4 still available? And I guess, second question and maybe the most important one.. could this be an issue with their link instead of my software?
