I get this message when trying to open a very old document.  Is there any way I can open it?  Any suggestions welcomeThx Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open 'x00_2779.olk14Message' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).   

The reading function starts when you open the file in Acrobat Reader DC.I want to stop the function because it is in the way, but I don't know how.Please tell me.

When I want to make comments in my pdfs, it is only possible to write, draw and add shapes. The highlighter cannot be used. What am I doing wrong?

i am 78 years old.. when i print out material from my bank 3 months bank statements it is in mice size print... tiny  tiny.. how do i enlarge the print. is the problem my computer or the bank...... very tired and fustrated.. help!! thanks GAWGA

Actually the problem is that I have installed adobe acrobat reader DC but it is not displaying correctly and after several installation the problem didn't sort out.As the same problem is there that whenever I open the pdf it opens but either it is not displaying properly or after scrolling it does not scroll and if some times it scroll then the whole page become white or it looks like a painting.

When I open the PDF document on my desk top it displays in a differnt font to when it is opened on my laptop.  I have done a search to try to rectify this and am unable to work out a fix. How can I get support?

Hi! I was wondering if someone can help me. I have a sentence hyperlinked to a piece of text, but I need to create this red clickable Adobe icon next to the text that also opens to the same pdf link. If anyone knows the name of this button or can point me in the right direction on how to do so that would be great. Thank you! 

How do you make a dropdown box that displays the text "select one option". When the user clicks the arrow then it sees the options. i.e. the text inside the dropdown box should say "select one option". 

I have a fillable PDF form that i have openened in Chrome and filled out the fields. The editing works fine, and I have completed all of the fields. This is an info tracking form and I will need to continue to edit the fields in the future. Now, I can PRINT to PDF and get a document that I can read, but when I do that, the new PDF is not editable.  If I hit CTRL+S save, Chrome will save the doc under the same name. However, if I open this in a new Chrome Browser window, I do not see my edits, I see only the original unedited form. How can I save the form, and be able to close the browser without losing all of my changes?Right now, if I close the browser, I will lose everything. Like I said, I can print a version with the changes in it, but the PDF is no longer editable. I need to be able to save it, close it, open it again in the future with all the changes saved, and continue to edit. thanks in advance--

Why can't my IE print PDFNo response when clicked     

I send 40+ page PDF'd reports.  When I send in Outlook I choose the Attach via Adobe Cloud Document.  Has worked well for some time.  I tried to send one today and when you open the file --- it's garbage.It's giving me an Error Code of Signature Does Not Match but the document doesn't include any signatures.  Help!

I would like to know if there is a way to default the application so that when it opens a pdf document for the first time, the display comes up at 100% rather than some random percentage like "256%" or "355%". Thanks.

Hello,I have a complete catalogue and would like to add a catalogue cover. The catalogue starts at page 1, now if I am adding the cover sheet, then page 1 would be page 2 etc. Is there a possibility to add the cover sheet without being counted. So if someone calls up page 3, then it would be catalogue page 3 intstead of page 2?Does anybody have any idea?

Hi all, I'm having an issue with the Linux Citrix Receiver improperly rendering the cursor while in Acrobat Reader DC. This issue is only reproducible with our Linux clients - Windows machines running the Citrix Receiver work just fine. The Citrix image we're using is Windows 10. I believe that Adobe is doing some special magic under the hood to draw these custom cursors, which for whatever reason, isn't translating well on Linux. I think the easiest way to solve this problem would be to force Acrobat Reader to use the default system cursor theme. Is there an option that would allow this in Acrobat? Or, does anybody know if there is a Windows setting we could enable to force system-wide cursor themes. It seems like a bit of a long shot, but here's hoping. I have tried some of the other suggested fixes for similar problems, but I don't think they are caused by the same thing. My company files that I am trying to print comes up with a warning that it won't print because I don't have latest version.  When I check it says there are no updates and that I have the latest version.

I am trying to convert a document written in German to word. It comes out half gibberish. when purchasing the pack I was talled it will work  - but it doesn't. Please help. 

Is it possible to use GPO or registry entries to completely disable the ability for some users to edit any PDF they interact with? We want to make sure some users cannot edit a PDF in any form when they get them and make Adobe Reader a strictly reader.  I have tried to research the issue and really have not received a complete answer.Thank you! 

Hallo zusammen, ist ja traurig, daß man von Adobe keinen im Hilfe bitten kann. Icb habe folgendes Problem. Ich habe mich auf meinem Laptop angemeldet und ein Jahresabo abgeschlossen, um PDF in Word zu exportieren. Wenn ich jetzt aber in meinem Konto eine PDF konvertieren möchte, dagt er jedesmal icvh muss zahlen. Icb habe meine Bestellung auch nicht in meinem Account gefunden. Habe aber eine Bestätigungs Email von Adobe und der Betrag wurde auch abgebucht. Was soll ich jetzt tun? Virlen Dank für eure Hilfe! 

I am trying to locate all of my files.  Back in July there was some kind of update.  I am not seeing any of my older files from 2018. How do I get them for printing?

Hello,Whenever I click on a link in my PDF, it automaticly opends my mail and it puts the link in the CC. (e.g. if there is a link called 'www.google.com', it opends the mail-app and addresses the mail to 'www.google.com' whenever I click on it, instead of the actual site 'www.google.com'How can I change this so the weblink actually opends my web browser? thanks

I select both all as below...work for me. Note : When I try "remember current state.." only, it doesn't not work, tool pane keep poping back on each doc opening.
