I am trying to apply digital signature to the documents using the Acrobat SDK. Is it ok to install the Adobe acrobat pro on a server machine and use it for applying digital signature for the documents?  Is Adobe Acrobat pro license allowed to use as mentioned above?orWhat license would fit for above requirement so that we can procure and use?

Hey, I have a similar question that  was asked before but it could not really give me an answer. On my computer I have the Acrobat Reader DC. In a vba project I wold like to create an object of this application by"CreateObject ("AcroExch.App")" (or "AcroReader.App") But this always gives me an error. (ActiveX component cant create object) What am I doing wrong ?I would be very happy for an answer Many Thanks in advanceJonny

I have a couple of Adobe Acrobat's plug-ins working perfectly fine in a few computers with Adobea Acroat DC installed. However, in one of the computers the "plug-ins" menu does not appear in the toolbar.Under "Help->>Generate System Report" the plug-ins are listed under "Installed Plug-ins".How do I make sure the "Plug-ins" menu is activated?Thanks

Create Form > Create New > Start from a blank new sheetI create new fields A, B, and C.  These fields are set to be a Number with 8 decimal places.After that, set field C to be the product of A and B.Brand new sheet, with no other edits. Now go to preview and test the page.  Set the following fields:A = 0.11111111B = 1.00000000 It should be that A * B = 0.11111111  (in 8 decimal form) right?  Its not....When I use the calulate product of A and B, I get 0.11111100The last 2 decimal places are ignored.  This happens for all my fields. Why??? Is this rounding?  truncating for funzies? idk... any thoughts on how to show the whole mulitplication instead of stopping at 6 digits each time? See attached example

I have an application that needs to convert Word doc/docx files to PDF files unattended. The users will supply Word documents that will be converted to PDF and then merged with other PDF files to create a single PDF.  Is it possible to use the Abobe PDF Library SDK to do the conversion and merging without having Word installed?   The application is written in C#.

Hello,I have read through few discussions and can't seem to find a javascript that lets you save pdf in current folder. Everyone asks for it to be saved in a specified folder. So, I was wondering if there is a javascript that can save the PDF in folder that the PDF is currently in named after two fields in Adobe Form.Thanks!

Hello, I work for the Dominican Republic Government, and I have a very difficult task to accomplish.In my agency, employees write different types of documents, in Microsoft word, and they converted to pdf and send it, to be printed and stamped, then scan with all the stamp and send by email to the final user.  I have been requested on the posibilities of automating this.  The word documents have place and type of stams that the document required, documents may need one or multiple stamps, in different possitions. What we need to create is take the word document, converted to PDF, locate the location where they need the stamps, and type of stamps.  Digitally add the image of the Stamp, and send the document to the final destinantion by email, not leaving the digital format? What libraries do I need?  I believe this is possible,  Marking the locations of the Stamps and witch stamp will be mandatory in each document.  What will be the easyest w

Is there any way to convert multiple ps files in a folder to single pdf in vb.net/c# ?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but in the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, for the life of me when I'm editing the PDF there's just no way to select multiple objects. Ctrl+Shift doesn't work, and I can't draw a box to select multiple objects. What am I doing wrong? Please help. Thanks.

Hello,I am preparing a form with calculations and need assistance on a couple of areas.  I am very new to javascript calculations and am a bit confused by some of the abbreviations I'm seeing when trying to look through other discussions on this board.  Maybe someone can help give me the exact code I should be using and the box I should enter it into?  1. In several locations, I have the user enter data in a specific column.  The data cells are all formatted as numbers and the final cell at the bottom sums them up.  That works great, but when I change the "sum" to "average" I get fractional numbers.  I want this form to work only in wole numbers and need the "average" to not only display as a whole number (ie Format tab) but also to round up for subsequent calculations.  How do I enter a "Custom Calculation Script" in the "Calculate" tab so that my "average" cell is a whole number? 2. User's are not required to enter data on every row. 

When I follow the header files in PDFL SDK, I found there are many structs which don't have a complete type. For example, there is a definition: typedef struct _t_PDDoc *PDDoc;  However, there is no definition of `struct _t_PDDoc`. And I also don't find any code which make it import. So, how can the code complie successfully? What is the type indeed? When I try to use the `struct _t_PDDoc` directly in my code, there is always a mistake made by VS.

Hello,I am using a dependant drop down box that changes several drop down choices, however some of the drop down choices are not dependant. I would like all drop downs to clear/ revert to the " " that I have as the primary choice if the dependant is changed, is this possible? If so how would I go about this?

Hello,  I have several dependant boxes, these work fine and change the choices depending on your initial selection, however, when I go to submit the form the code will look for any answers that are "No" and put that into the email. I have this working for non dependable  . Is there some code I am missing for it not to work correctly

Before anyone gives the answer of 'you can install on second machine' or 'you can install on as many machines as you want'.... but can only use one at a time (and it has been said you can remain signed in on both machines) the question is, how do you get Adobe Acrobat DC to work on the second machine.  The tools only say (add) and do not allow them to be used, and the options are 'start a free trial' or 'purchase'.  I purchased and simply want it on my main computer that was not available when I purchased and originally downloaded.How do I get it to work on the second machine.

Hi All,Im currently trying to set up a PDF form where the users can insert screenshots and then sign the form. It works very well with the prepare form -> add an image field tool. If I understand correctly, this creates just a form field with the JavaScript command event.target.buttonImportIcon(). Unfortunately, I cannot find a way to lock the images trough signature. Does anybody know if there is a solution to this? Signature action -> lock all fields does not work, I still can replace the images after. If it does not work by signature, maybe there is a way that the javascript can only be run once to prevent changing the image later.Many thanks in advance for any thoughts on this

I created a form, with several check boxes; the form works fine for me, however, when others try to fill in the form, some of the boxes seem to be linked (even though they have nothing to do with each other).  The boxes are all named different things, so I know it's not that.  Even my IT department can't figure this out, any advice is greatly appreciated!

I have a form with four individual columns that need an average calculated, but with the zeros ignored.  Below is what it looks like.  The fields in each column are either E.  R2.  R3.  R4., wish sequential numbers after each dot. The averages need to calculate in the DLA  row. (Keep in mind this page two, there are numbers on the other, bringing up the sum at the bottom).   I've come across different codes but I am understanding they have to be a document level. How do I do that when I need four different averages?  This is what I have found. In searching through posts it appears I will need to use custom calculation script to ingnore N/A repones in a drop down menu when averaging. This is my first time doing a custom calculation script. I have the drop down Export Values set as 0, 1, 2, 3, and N/A when N/A is selected I would like it excluded from the average. I have 82 drop down menus set-up. Each average will include specific dropdown menus into the average. I have one that should include the following dropdown mensu named: Dropdown7 QMS, Dropdown8 QMS and Dropdown9 QMS. I am hoping someone can help me. 

I have an employment intensity indicator form field that requires a value to be exported between 1 and 8 but also needs to have a 'real' value that is used in calculations. For example, if someone input 35 (hours per week), the field would have an export value of 8 (gov code), but the 35 would still be able to be used in other calculations running on the PDF.  These are the constraints I need to use to allocate the export value:ILR Specification: Attribute field: Employment intensity indicator - GOV.UK (submit-learner-data.service.gov.uk)

I need a code that will calculate the total cost if one of the check boxes are clicked.  For example, if people check "12 Cups" then the "Cost" text box will calculate: 12*1.50/ cup.  If people want 24 cups, then just change the calculation to: 24*1.50/ cup.  So on and so forth.  Any ideas?  

These check boxes have hidden values (1-5) and we would like to calculate the the average of these values only if those particular Check Boxes are checked. The Check Boxes in each row are named the same. Thanks for any help you can provide!

My application which loops through multiple pdf documents, copies from a template, opens, populates fields with data and saves stopped working after the November 18, 2021 Windows update.  I have tried different save flags (first parameter on the save), the close function (does not work), upgrading to Windows 11 (still does not work).  Is anyone experiencing similar behaviour?
