Is there a white paper that explains document life cycle and security?I uplaod a file into my account. . Is my account the only who EVER has access to that file unless I start to share?I create an anonymous link. A user clicks the link and accesses the file. Is it downloaded into their computer for rendering, Or is it rendered at adobe?Are portfolio files handled differently?  Must the receiving user create an adobe id? Is there any additional protection? Adobe password protection?Is any special software required on the receipients computer (linux, Mac, windows) to read a file?  (Portfolios sent via regular email require a recent adobe reader & flash on the receiving computer.I create a link to a specific receipient. Are -those- receipients required to create an acrobat ID for access control?I guess what I am looking for is a thorough product guide.

How can I get a correct font conversion from pdf to ms word doc or docx?I keep getting illegible oddball characters in the conversion. It used to work correctly during a trial I did about a year ago.

I recently downloaded Adobe Reader and I needed to edit the text in a PDF so under tools, edit pdf, there's a prompt that says "Upgrade to Pro" to edit PDF. It drove me to this landing page: Subscription Options | Adobe Acrobat Pro and I put in my billing information and purchased the subscription. I can't find anything in the UI dashboard that indicate a serial number or account number I need to put into my desktop Adobe Reader to upgrade it and unlock that functionality and I can't seem to find any login on the system preferences in the desktop application. How do you translate the upgrade to the desktop? Thanks! Adelle

Okay... so I just paid the yearly fee to be able to convert pdfs to word documents.  I select the pdf and the word format and hit convert.  Like 20 times.  Absolutely nothing happens!

I can not currently "save as" any new downloaded Adobe docs. I am using acrobat XI pro & did an update today which is when my problems started. I am using Windows8.1 & Firfox.Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I've subscribed to Acrobat Pro XI and pay $21 and change monthly.  Currently Acrobat does not recognize my subscription and keeps asking me to purchase Acrobat Pro to export PDF to Word, Excel to PDF, etc.   In other words, I'm not able to use any of the tools I'm paying for since my Acrobat keeps asking me to purchase monthly subscription I'm already paying for. 

Have converted (twice at least) an Adobe file to a Word docx format......instructions say to choose "Office 365" or "SharePoint" and then put in my account URL.   I do not know what Office 365 OR SharePoint are....nor whatever "my account URL" might be.  Have a paid subscription (lowest level) to convert files, but need to FIND and then MOVE the converted file to its proper folder.  Unable to find an "answer" that addresses this, at least in a way I can understand it.  Would much prefer to have Customer Support available to answer my question personally as I am NOT very experienced on computers.  Thx, Pat.
