Would it be better for buyers if I converted my abstract art Jpegs to vectors?

I notice vectors sell really well for backgrounds as such.  I'm an abstract artist and I think i make really cool backgrounds, but was wondering if they would be more useful converted to vector?  Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appriciated
