 Hi all, I am trying to make a video from .exr renders at 60fps. I have selected 60fps from the Basic Video Settings tab but it keeps coming out as I think the default 29.97fps. There are 240 frames in my render, so at 60fps it should come out to 4 seconds, but it comes out as 8 seconds. Is there another setting I'm missing?

This is getting pretty ridiculous. I'm putting together videos in Premier Pro.. often 30min to an hour or so long... everything filmed with my GoPro 10 and everything sounds great IN PREMIER. I encode the video in 4k 30 fps with adui set to AAC 48000 Hz Stereo 512 Bitrate, queue it up, and let it run. It's big and 4k so takes a while even on my 3090/5950x PC... Finished up, no errors.. fire up the video.. sounds great, looks great... and BOOM.. I'll find a random 10-15 seconds or so dead audio spot in the middle of the video.. So... I'll check the spot in Premier.. sounds perfect, and is the same type of sound and footage as everywhere else in the video. I'll re-encode the entire thing, many more hours... and BAM... another 10-15 dead spot in another spot in the video, the spot that had a dead sound spot before, sounds fine. Wtf? Last night AME was working fine. I wake up this morning, try and render and now AME is not working right. Starts up fine, I try and add a composition, which is all going well and then as soon as it says "connected to [project]" in the Import window a crash report for After Effects appears. AME itself doesn't crash, but the import fails. I was watching the task manager as this happens, and for some reason when I import into AME, there are two versions of After Effects starting up in the background - could this be causing it??? I've tried importing multiple AE files, even the ones I rendered yesterday and it's still doing it despite it working fine yesterday. I'm using window 10, AE and AME 2020 (Version 14.9) I dont want to update any software as I'm mid-project and I've had bad experiences doing that, so can anyone suggest a solution? Can't understand why it would suddenly stop over night!    

I have been using a proxy workflow for over a year now and distribute Premiere projects with proxies for several editors. Many of these projects are then graded after a final lock. During the edit process I need to make sure that the editors can seemlessly work with original and proxy footage. The process was working well until the 22 updates. I have searched preferences in AME 22.2 (Build 64) and I can't find a way to export proxies that match the original footage (uncolor managed). Specifically I am having problems with Sony ILME-FX6V .MXF clipsCaptureGammaEquation value = s-log3-cineCaptureColorPrimaries value = s-gamut3-cineCodingEquations value = rec709   Any advice is appreciated. I have tried to render a 10:16:18 After Effects (v22.2.0 (Build 120)) project with Media Encoder (v22.2 (Build 64) and without exception, it freezes at some point along the way. The interface continues to work, I can pause or stop the encoding but I cannot get the project to complete. I have searched the problem and it seems that this is an issue with different versions in the past I have tried many of the suggestions made in those posts (except downgrade to MEv12). I tried uninstalling Creative Cloud and chose "Repair" instead. After restart, the freezing continues. Hello Folks, I had done this before but long time ago.What are the files format need it from Media Encoder do be copy to a blankBlueray DVD, that will play on any Home DVD Player?And refresh my memory on Folder's name in the dvd.10000 of thanks in advance!!

I have just used AME to convert Sony EXCam files to WAV 16 bit 48K and the conversions have come out distorted. The same EX files exported from Premiere are fine. Not a huge problem as I have worked around it to finish the project but is there any known issues with exporting WAV files?   I9-9900k 64GB Ram All footage 1980x1020 25i on M2 GTX 2070 Super Driver 511.09 Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22000  

Adobe Media Encoder does not open. I encountered this problem yesterday and solved the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the software. However, it could survive just a day. It is quite a time consuming to reinstall the software each time. Deleting the caches did not work for me as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When exporting media in Premiere Pro under the MPEG-4 format, I only have two (3GPP) presets for exporting and both are 352x288 or smaller. If I choose one and try to change the video options below an error pops up that says that resolution is not supported. When I transcode a ProRes file to MXF (broadcast file) in Media Encoder I somehow loose the timecode of the original. It always starts at 0:00:00:00. I have not checked the 'start timecode at 0' checkbox in the render settings.Usually this is not a problem, but now I need to make a MXF that starts at 10:00:00:00. When I render this to ProRes from AE and import it back again the timecode is correct. When I transcode this file to MXF in Media Encoder the start is set back to 0:00:00:00. Same thing happens when I do the render from AE straight to Media Encoder (Add to MediaEncoder Queue). Timeline is set to start at 10h, render when imported back again starts at 0h. In my settings I use a MXF OP1a wrapper, video is set to XDCAMHD 50 PAL (upper field first) and set starting timecode is off. When I use a different codec (also within the MXF OP1a wrapper) like AVC Intra the original timecode is preserved. Found out that in Media Encoder v22.2 (when sending a project from Premiere Pro v22.1.2) I can't access the Export Settings to change the Format and Preset. Also, the Format name shows in blu but the Preset name doesn't show at all. The Format and Preset dropdown selections do work, they show the list of names but I can't select a different Format or Preset, so they don't do anything when clicking the names in the dropdowns. One more thing I found out was that when trying to quit the application it freezes while quitting, so I have to force quit it. I tried clearing all the caches, I looked around for some settings that might have been set wrong, tried restarting Premiere Pro, I tried several times to Restart and Shut Down the computer, but unfortunately nothing really helped. It was confusing because earlier in the day I was using it without any problems, and the next thing I know the application wasn't working correctly anymore. I had to get exports out somehow because my w

after adding my project from after effects to media encoder once the render is finished the video is fast forwarded but when i use quicktime the video is normal but how can i fix it?

Can someone with a Mac M1 Max complete a successful AME render with the "Play chime when finished encoding" option checked and tell me what chime you hear? I contacted Adobe Help through the chat box on the Adobe site.  The issue I called about was that AME plays the sheep sound whether the render is successful or not.  He/she told me that the sheep sound was the correct sound for a successful render, then turned off the chime option and told me he fixed the problem.  What kind of help is this?  I've used AME for years and I  know a successful render ends with a musical chime and an unsuccessful render ends with that annoying sheep noise.  Has this changed?  

Hi there,hope, anybody could help:When exporting a composition from AE (dimensions: 1080x1920), I could export the composition with AE's render module to an AVI which video size is 1080x1920 and buffer dimensions are 1080x1920.When trying to encode the composition with media encoder (H264, H265, DNxHR), it always renders video size 1080x1920 but buffer dimensions 1088x1920.Tryed to sync settings with source, trying to not sync but manually configure settings: same result.When encoding the avi from AE rendering into a H264: same behaviour: AVI has 1080x1920 buffer dimensions, H264/H265/DNxHR has 1088x1920 buffer dimensions.Media encoder: latest version, Windows 11.I should be glad if anybody has an idea how to solve this and where to start looking for a solution..Thanks,Kind regardsMarcel

Morning, we are running AME on Win server 2019 with the registry option to enable long file path (+255 character filepath support) turned on. AME is still failing to process media in these paths with a 'path too long' error. Is there any way for us to address this?Thanks in advance...Graham

Trying to export my project, after premiere caused my computer to freeze everytime i export through there, I have tried through Adove media encoder without much luck either. When I add two video files located on a NAS that is mounted in windows 10 as a network drive, I am able to set it with my parameters but when I click the play button to begin conversion it never changes from Ready. When I right-click to stop it, it confirms that I'd like to stop the process or let it continue. Further in the bottom panel, it changes to the black bar like it's starting to load, but no text shows up and the Ready status does not change.  This happens when the export location is both on a local machine and on the NAS. The source files are too large to copy off the NAS due to time constraints so they reside on there.

Hi guys, I've got 3hrs long film to export, left it overnight as it was showing 12hrs remaining and woke up to AME stuck after 2hrs of exporting. It's not frozen,  but also the times are not changing. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi currently I'm facing random green frame issues on my Adobe Media encoder v14. 2 and I can't find any fix/answer anywhere.The problem started after I imported effects or graphics inside the project. It was fine when I do a preview in Premiere after the editing and issues that happened once encoded by AME.If I do rendering in premiere and save local as MXF. how do I get the ENCODING window UNDER the QUEUE window so I can see the file name on top and the convert window on the bottom at the same time. Thanks.

If I use Media Encoder to convert a .mov file to .mp4 it exports with consistent glitches. I know I can use Handbrake instead, but this is also a huge issue when trying to work with .mov files in Premiere Pro I have software/drivers fully updated to current releaseSystem:AMD Ryzen 9 3900X64 RAMGeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8gbWindows 10 Pro 

I have upgraded to a new M1 Macbook Pro and have experienced multiple issues with Adobe Media Encoder failing or not even starting when exporting via After Effects. This comes and goes but has resulted in me having to reinstall the app multiple times to get it to work. I am always using updated software and feel that for the price I pay there should be better reliability from this application. Are others experience AME being a real pain at the moment with M1? Darren

HiI have not been able to render using Adobe Media Encoder for several months now with the error message below. From AE it's not possible to do "add to Adobe Media Encoder" via the menu, I can only get the file to appear in AME using the Queue in AME button in the Render Queue, however I then can't render it and it shows the yellow exclamation mark error message (below).There are many suggestions from people with this problem, however none of these workarounds have solved my issue (delete cache, remove plugins, change permissions).
