When you load up a document that is newer than your current version of Adobe Xd, you get prompted to update to a newer version.After pressing "Update now" a screen appears to tell you to close Adobe Xd. After closing Adobe Xd and clicking Continue, the prompt appears over and over again.This happens because the background tasks are not correctly terminated.When terminating the tasks manually, everything works as expected. Sidenote: As I was experimenting with this bug, I found out that the tasks get terminated automatically, but it takes about a minute or so. Windows 10.

Hi all,   Adobe XD 34 brings with it exciting new workflows with Creative Cloud libraries that help teams make the most of their Creative Cloud libraries. Whether you are using design systems or creative libraries to manage your assets, you can now do that more quickly and efficiently.     Designers can now do the following:   Access and consume assets (colors, character styles, components, and Adobe Stock assets) from CC Libraries directly within the Assets panel in XD. After the latest update the search field "Search All Libraries" seems to clear our any text inputted into it after a few seconds, giving the user very little time to find what they need and select and drag it to the design board.  Is this a bug that is currently being looked into? The search filter does the same thing with a clear out after a few seconds.

How does XD embedd fonts in shared documents? If I use Avenir and the recipient doesn't have that, will the recipient then see a fallback or substitute font? And will the document contain code specs on that substitute font? Will fonts appear the same for all types of shared documents from XD? So if you don't have the used font installed locally you won't see it in documents that are shared for development, review, presentation etc?   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hi, It been happened to me 3 time in a row and this is nowgetting really frustating. As a Head of design I work with various designers on various projects. And we all work in collaboration mode. But it happended to me 3 times now. My designer worked on a file which I created and the next day I tried to open it but it never openned. I'm not sure what could be the possible reason for this but happended 3 times now. We have shared the various links to developers and product owners from that file and now I'm unable to open it. All I can do it to download from the designer account and upload it again as a seperate file. You can understand how much furstated this situation is. 2nd issue, it's keep asking to accept the changes even when all the designer are online. Though it shouldn't ask, it shoud just update the change whoever is working on the file. And this gets much annoying when you been asked to accept changes and your own work gets reverted. Please try to fix these prob

So since updated to win 10 20H2 - XD crashes.. Did this happen to anyone else.   

I have created a component, and in that component, I want to create another component. A little on/off switch. I selected the two objects and create a component, but the default state has a pencil and not the plus symbol. When I click the pencil it creates a pasteboard (not even sure what that is). The diamonds are also not solid, not sure what I did wrong. I just want to make a component in a component.

Hi!I'm having the following issue:I'm working on some pages where I've some small component with hours inside of it. When trying to edit the component into some different versions of the hours inside, XD crashes after the third or fourth component I try to edit. Usually, losing all the info of the changes I made after starting to modify that simple component.See the video for an example: I tried reinstalling the fonts, using a different one (This changes the number of times I can change the text before crashing) and remaking the component. Still happens. We published a design in design review mode. Our QA person spent time going through and making comments. We switched to presentation mode and than back to design review only to find our comments gone. The comment window does not appear at all no matter how may times I update the link. It's stuck in presentation mode.

Hi!Howto set focus on the toolbar so I can change tool?Case: I have a background, select the texttool and add a text. Now I would like to select the background to change color. If i press "V" the letter V will be written (of course). How do I move  focus from textarea to toolbar so I can press V and select the pointer-tool?

Hi,  I synced a document with an online assets library (new functionality this month), and after a while the assets panel became empty... (see screenshot below). I was already struggling to update components, had to update them individually sometimes.  I already tried to duplicate my document, but the same thing happens.  Thanks   

Mac OS Catalina = 10.15.17XD version = 34.0.12.33 This issue occurs on exisiting files and new files (every file I have). Just getting around to reporting this now but I've encountered the issue for several months and just learnt to live with it - but thought I should report. This did work but has obviously been lost during an update somewhere along the line. I'm pretty sure when the issue occurred, I rolled back a version and it worked ok. So it was definitely lost in an update. At first I thought this was permissions to XD but now it looks like if I have my XD on screen and open a folder (in the same Space) the dragging/dropping of images works fine. However if I have the folder containing images in a different Mac 'Space' it's impossible to add the image into the document. For example, having a shape (rectangle) create and then dragging an image (from another Space) into XD. Has anyone else encountered this issue, is it a known bug? Thanks,Steve

Hello everyone, Although I do enjoy the feature to coedit in the real time with my colleagues I have hard time finding the perfect workflow. My main issue is with sharing permissions—why can only the owner of the file create links? This really messes up with ability to seamlessly work on the common file, e.g. UX designer works on the wireframes and at some point invites me to coedit the file with them. As a VD I help to evolve the wireframes and create functional mockups. At the end of the day I'm the one who creates design handoff. In order to be able to create links on my own, I have to duplicate the file. This, together with very untuitive way the Creative Cloud app manages access to "Shared with you" files (no way to organize them—put into folders, etc.) couses a huge mess in a very short time. (Don't even ask me what happens if something needs fixing afterwards!) Another issue is somehow connected with it. Until then, we would like you to understand these limitations to make the best use of the current possibilities.      If you would like to upvote or submit a feature request related to this feature, use this link  It will help the team prioritize current features and limitations.   Current limitations with 3D transforms:   If you convert a 3D transformed object to a component, it automatically resets to 2D.  You can only override 3D transforms on component instances, but global edits are not possible from the main Component. You cannot apply 3D transforms inside Components. When you apply 3D transforms to hover or tap states, Transforms are applied to all states for that object  You cannot edit the space for padding, stacks, and repeat grids on canvas for 3D transformed groups.&n

When I'm working XD crashes randomly. It just closes whitout any glitch or something.. Just working and the next second its closed.. And sometimes it takes 2 minutes to crash, sometimes it takes more.. But the end resault is always a CRASH.. PLEASE HELP.. I want to use XD but it seems to be impossible for me.... WHY
