Brand new workstation with Windows 11 Pro but After Effects is slow as hell and audio is lagging

Hi 
I have a brand new workstation with lots of Power, 64 gigs of RAM, Nvidia GForce RTX3050 but the whole Adobe App Family is driving me nuts when it comes to speed and stability. Especially After Effects is behaving like an old snail. I am currently working on a lyric video. Nothing fancy. When playing back the MP3 file won't play without any glitches and sometimes won't play at all. The pre-rendering is also extremly slow. Is this a common problem? I am thankful for any hints.

Spend soem time straightening out teh system. Check the drivers and configure them suitably or update them, check the numerous AE prefs and individual settings. Just because a system is supposedly fast on paper doesn't mean it is ideally suited or configured for AE out of the factory. In particular your mention of all Adobe apps having poor performance certainly indicates a system level issue, not a specific problem with just one program.

It's a special tailored system for AE. All drivers are up to date. The new system is even slower than my old Windows 10 workstation. I've found many people who have similar issues. I will contact also the workstation builder with this issue.

If the people sold you the system as tailored for Ae, then they should be able to tell you why it is slower then your previous system. It might be a driver it might me the way SSD's are conected. Hard to tell with the info your provide.
