composition layers size and location changes on time line

Hi there

1st time this has ever happened to me:

I imported composition from PSD to AE with retain layer sizes. the composition was set to be 7 sec. all layers from PSD were timed as 2 frames layers for some reason. the max i can time sterch it is to 5 sec. 

But that's not the only problem. 

i use time remaping and what it does is that it reduces the layers size

Anyone got idea what causes this?

Start by checking the "Still duration" in teh import settings in the preferences. Otherwise I think the answer is pretty much in your post - AE doesn't care for PSD animation and whatever you do in Photoshop doesn't really matter in that department. Convert your stuff to normal layers and remove any animation in PS.
