RAM Preview playback audio out of sync

Ok, Iäve restarted After Effects, emptied the disk cache, dissabled it ..
Sounds starts one second after video, the first time I do a preview, second time is fine.. but to have to do it over and over.. twice.. is a headache.

I suppose this is a hardware error as the same thing (occaionally happens) in Audition too.
The CTI advances and sound won't play until a second later.. which is irritating editing audio.

Any Ideas?
Running Windows11.. MSI GF65 thin laptop
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
16gb of RAM.. 😕😕
