Zooming in and out of timeline glitches and causes beach ball

Hey!

I'm working on a Mac Pro 2013.

This has happened to me a few time but usaully resolves itself. This time it has not.

When I scroll to zoom out on the timeline, it sometimes zooms in past the zoom limit and freezes up cause nothing exists that close. Most times I just wait for it to respond then I can zoom out again and we are back in business. This time its just fully frozen stuck zoomed in way past even a frame on the timeline.

screen shot for more info, you can see the view bar is fully closed.

I will most likely have to do a force crash save to fix it this time but thought I should share this with the community to see if other people have experienced this.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there ways of reducing this occuring?

Thanks!

Update:

Just found what was causing it for anyone else that experiences this. when you scroll on the right side of the timeline (where the layer blocks are) it scroll normally, When you scroll on the left (where you arrange the layers) it scroll in, no matter which direction you scroll.

Hope this helps.
