Using the latest SDK 17 (115) on iOS the app has issues with datagrid/list skins - if you manually skin using setRendererStyle, it seems ALL the skin states are using the Selected skins. For example, the upSkin state uses the selectedUpSkin skin as far as I can make out (in tests this seems to be the case) In other words, to set the upSkin to the skin you want, you have to set the selectedUpSkin - .setRendererStyle("selectedUpSkin", CellRenderer_upSkin). This does not seem to be a problem on the other platforms - Android, Windows, Mac.

Hi, I'm new to mobile development. I recently published 2 games to android and to ios. I tested them on the galaxy s4 and the note 4, the quality looks amazing. Once I tested them on the iPhone 5, 6, and 6+ the graphics looked pixelated. The quality was nowhere near the same. In the publish settings, I set the resolution to high.That improved it a little but the quality still isn't as clear as android. I've searched high and low on google and found nothing useful. I'm completely stomped.Can someone please help me with this issue?

Due to the Apple's requirement for the 64 bit version,  our latest app has compiled by AIR16 , but after released on appstore, a lot of user complained that our app can not launch on some of ios devices, especially on ios 7.1.1 & 7.1.2 , and also some jail-breaked devices, this never happened before on AIR15 or earlier compiler, we are receiving overwhelming negative comment on appstore.Our app include an ANE module will create an ios native videoplayback to play a h.264 video after app initialize, I guess maybe there is a problem for actionscript invoke ANE methods at ios 7.1.1, therefore the app froze at the  video playing process. but unfortunately we don't have a ios 7.1.1 device to do further research...

Hi all,with the recent adding of x86 support for Android, I decided to buy an Android x86 tablet for testing (Dell Venue 7, specifically). I was surprised to find that my app can be downloaded from Google Play already and works without notable errors. The app is packaged with a captive runtime and I never made any changes to support x86 architectures. Is it not necessary to create an apk specifically for x86 devices? That is at least what I read in the Adobe guidelines.Thanks

IF i using the "loadURL()" method of stagewebview, it  can load every site very fine,however,if i use URLLOADER to load the HTML content as string,and then using loadString() to load a html,it not work with any charset unless charset is "UTF-8".i try to set Content-type>charset inside the URLRequest but no luck...............

I've been getting these two errors no matter what I try. I've deleted all my profiles and certificates, remade them and even remade the App ID multiple times and nothing happened and still the same error. I've updated XCode too and still the same errors.I used a Wildcard App to create my .ipa file in Flash Pro CC selecting the Apple App Store and tried to publish it through application loader.Is there any solution to these two problems? I merged Flex SDK 4.6.0 and AIR SDK 16.0.0.272 and use it in the Flash Builder 4.6.I downloaded AIR SDK 16.0.0.272 in the following :( Because I use Flash Builder, I downloaded the original AIR SDK without the new compiler. )http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.htmlI added ANE files to my app and entered iOS SDK path in the properties window of project.* iOS SDK path : /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS8.1.sdk/When I build my app, the following error occurred :After I read the error message, I check whether local_nostrip.arm-air.txt is in the specified location.I found local_nostrip.arm-air.txt is missing in the sdk - it does not exist in the {pathtosdk}/lib/aot/lib/.In the AIR SDK 15, local_nostrip.arm-air.txt  file is in the {pathtosdk}/lib/aot/lib/.Can I use local_nostrip.arm-air.txt of the AIR 15 instead?Does anybody know?

None of my app run correctly on the February update for Flash CC. I get type 1009 errors on new and existing apps. Anyone else have this problem?Craig

I got a suggestion from a customer concerning my Android app. When you exit the app, it continues to play in the background (unlike iOS). I would like to add functionality to the app (game) to pause (suspend) on exit. I tried some different coding version with out luck. The Android tablet (and phones) I test it on ignores the code and the games timer continues to tick down. I'm using Flash Pro CC with AS3. Not sure what the problem could be at this point!

Is any one facing the video issues in Air 15  and 16?  When enabling video feature it's getting blank screen in the components. This is happening only in the Air version 15 and ups(16). Is there any reason or solution?

Hi,Currently it's taking my machine up to  4 minutes to publish an Air iOS app.Are there any settings or hacks I could try to reduce the time?I'm using Flash CS 6 + AIR SDK 16 on a Windows 8.1 laptop.Stats: - Intel Pentium Prozessor (1,5 GHz, Intel HD Graphics, Microsoft Windows 8, 64-bit) - 4 GB DDR3-RAM - 500 GB Hybrid-SSHD-Festplatte with 8 GB SSD Thanks for any tips.

This bug happens when starting with one orientation then changing to another.I have logged it here:Bug#3925510 - iOS - StageAspectRatio BugWhen the application changes the aspect ratio, the display and values are correct (fullScreenWidth and fullScreenHeight) but the UI does not report events anymore.It seems that internally the UI events are still checking for the older orientation values.

Hi, I have a number of iPhone users who claim that my AIR apps stop working (black screen) when their device's memory is low (around 700mb). They resume working when the memory is around 1.4gb.Is this a known issue that Adobe can do something about, or is the iOS hardware at fault here?

I updated to Android 5 OTA on two Nexus 7 2014 and 2013, after upgrading all the AIR apps were removed, native apps remained. I tried to install the apps from Google Play and i got an 505 install error.  The logcat error is below: E/Finsky(4449): [1] PackageInstallerImpl.handleCommitCallback: Error -505 while installing air.com.123.456 INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE: Package couldn't be installed in /data/app/air.com.123.456-1: Package air.com.123.456 signatures do not match the previously installed version; ignoring!The apps are the same as before upgrading , they were not updated, the certificate is the same.Anyone else seen this problem, is there an AIR patch?I can install the app by "adb uninstall" command then re installing from Google play.

Hi all,It looks like the x64 versions of the Product Store and Game Center ANEs are causing some kind of conflict when "Hide ANE-Library-Symbols" is turned on. It is possible other Adobe ANEs are causing issues as well but these are the other two I use.Upon building a project that includes these ANE for iOS and using the "Hide ANE-Library-Symbols" flag, I receive the extremely generic build error below. I've updated XCode and still get this same error. I've installed adobe air 17 beta and adobe air SDK too.Does anyone know how to get rid of this error?

I have this problem in two different apps - one compiled in Flash Builder, the other is a Flash IDE app. Both include runtime loaded SWFs - not sure whether that's relevant.Both apps crash whenever I compile using the new fast AOT mode; but not when -useLegacyAOT is on. In Flash IDE this means NOT checking the "use fast compiler" option in the AIR publish settings.For more details about the bug, refer to Bug#3942042 - Application crash ONLY when using new fast AOTLatest AIR, Flex SDK, Flash Builder, Flash IDE.I'm not using ANY 3D features at all, just straight up MovieClips and Bitmaps and whatnot. Very simple apps that seem to crash when the stage needs to redraw. (More accurately, when the user interacts with the app and the app transitions to a new "view" or "screen" which has a new background Bitmap and big changes to the display list).Any thoughts?
