Questions

I am building a Network as a HTML-File. The network is built step after step until it's finished. Sometimes it's needed to click on a point multiple times. My solution for that was, that I made a new smaller button for the next step. Now if I click on some buttons some steps which are already built in the network show up (the smaller buttons). Is there a way to deactivate an action after it has been triggered? Thank you in advance for all the Help.

I made a rectangle to a movieclip and want to change the color on a mouseover. Hi, I am doing a project for a company where they want me to make interactive assets on their website. It's about bugs so there are little bugs that move when you hover over them, coding that has been easy however I have one really weird issue going on. One of my symbols loses an entire layer when it exports, the layer plays normally in the program, and the legs show up outside of the symbol, but not when I test it within the symbol, everything else works fine. Below is a photo of the messed up export and my layers and setup in the app.I also have another animated symbol that works perfectly fine and both are set up the same and are on the same file.Is this the test just being weird if I give this to the coders will they just have a bug with no legs? Is there some super random user error I am making? Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I installed some other people's extensions, including some I made myself. There are twenty or thirty swf panels in total.Then after creating a new document, the swf panel cannot be opened through window-extension, there is no response to clicking, not all of them cannot be opened, and some phenomena that cannot be opened will randomly appear.Is there a limit to the number of files in windowSWF? If not, why are there some that won't open in the windows extension?The version I used to make the test is 2021

I use a wacom cintiq 16 and in this I have an option with the pencil in which when I put a button on the pencil I got a roulette with different options, in them were the undo and redo the last stroke made. In windows it worked perfect but now that I'm in Mac I can't use the redo option, the undo one works. I have been looking for information and I have tried in different versions of Animate and it keeps happening to me. It only happens in Adobe Animate, in Photoshop the redo button works, does anyone know what I can do?

Hi, I'm doing something a little unusual for a study project, and building a basic drum machine in Animate that has three different kits pages (each with different sounds) and a help page.I have buttons for Kit 1, Kit 2, Kit 3 and Help which I'm using to navigate. The square 'pads' 1-8 are used to trigger 8 different sounds on each drum kit.Currently when my animation plays it automatically plays through Kit 1 for 3 seconds, Kit 2 for 3 seconds etc... and loops this following my timeline.If a user clicks on any of the Kit buttons the animation stops with the script I have and the user can play that kit until they click on another kit. So switching and staying on a kit is working fine once a user clicks on any of the kits.I saved another version with an extra frame at the start and used 'this.stop(1);' which did stop the animation from playing through the timeline, thus it stayed on Kit 1 page until it got a user input, but for some reason after the user moved to Kit 2 or Kit 3 for

I've noticed that when I have a filter preset saved, it doesn't always render when applying it to a new layer, and to get it to show up I have to save and restart the application.Steps to reproduce:Draw something on a layer, and create a symbol (tried both Graphic and Movie Clip types, no impact).Apply a drop shadown and glow effect to the frame.Save as a preset.Create a new layer, and draw something on it, and create a new symbol.For the frame on the new layer, restore the preset.What should happen:Should apply the same drop shadown and glow effect that was saved.What happens:No effect appears to be applied in the canvas view, but the filters do show up on the list, and the frame icon is changed to white showing that it is applied. Saving the project and restarting results in the filter showing up correctly.

When I import sound, it won't play.  I tried using wav and mp4, and I tried changing the sync mode, it just won't play.

I am building a HTML-File with an interactive map. When I am starting or testing the File it always shows me all of the elements I have on the canvas. How can I define what elements I want to be shown at my starting point? I uploaded 2 pictures, one how I want it to look and the other how it is at the moment. Thank you in advance for all the Help.

How do you rotate a human's stomach forward and the legs not moving? With asset warp tool you rotate the stomach's warp handle to do this. In bounce animation tutorial you rotate the stomach's warp handle forward and the legs doesn't move. But how do you do this not with asset warp tool? When i rotate the character's stomach forward with selection tool, the legs move.

I've seen Javascript used in Animate that defines _this instead of this. For example: _this()stop; or _this.parent.gotoAndPlayvs.this()stop; or this.parent.gotoAndPlay The Adobe Press Animate book actually shows screenshots with both used. And, I understand Javascript requires determining scope. Why use one or other and why not just have a standard?

I am running the most recent version of the Adobe Animate software on a Macbook M2, and on a white canvas, the process of undoing a single line takes about two seconds of loading. My workflow is steadily disrupted as I typically undo mistakes constantly. I find myself spending more time waiting for the app than actually using the app, and I wanted to know if there are some things I can do to optimize the app. I turned off anti-aliasing and it didn't seem to help. Is it possible that my hardware is just not good enough to handle it? I'm surprised because it usually handles anything else without problems. I would appreciate any tips, Thank you!

Good Morning. I see in Google Play that from August the APK files will no longer be valid to upload your applications. You need .aab files (android app bundle). I don't know if these files can be generated with the air SDK. Some help?. Thank you

In animate why does my actions window come up with no menu on top

Wacom Intuos Pen&Touch SmallPC, Windows 7 (latest updates installed)Issue: when trying to pan or zoom canvas via wacom pen it just scrolls up/down just like in case of using mouse wheel.How can I make it work the same way as in Photoshop? In Photoshop CC it works just fine: I hold button1 on my wacom pen and move it for panning. The same with Alt key pressed for zooming. But in Animate CC it doesn't work. I've tried everything. Tried to change settings in Wacom panel (both for all apps and for Animate only - no difference). Even tried to disconnect my mouse: no effect. I have latest version of Animate CC installed. Any suggestions?

HI! I'm currently using the newest version of Animate on Windows 10, and I've been having issues importing a .wav file to animate with. I don't know if I'm putting it in the right place (I'm putting it on a layer and just making a ton of new frames), or if something is off. Whenever I try to listen to the audio, while animating or after exporting, it sounds bit-crushed and low-quality. When I just listen to the file itself, it sounds perfectly okay. I edited the audio in Premiere, and the output is 48,000 Hz, at 16 bit. I messed around with the properties in the file in the library in Animate, but no matter what I tried (speech, MP3, raw, etc), they all still didn't sound pure. I REALLY want to start making this cool video idea I have, but the crappy audio is holding me back. Any thoughts? (thank you so much!!)

Hi, My name is Rayyan and i'm new to adobe animate. Currently i'm using the free trial. I'm working with my project and i find a problem that i could not find the answer anywhere. Some of my graphic symbol seems to not working properly in the main timeline. However when I double click the symbol and enter the symbol timeline, it worked. As you see in the video i posted/attached, there are two videos, first is the main timeline where the character is moving across the room. I use classic tween for the motion. Second, is the symbol video where it contains the eye, nose, eyebrows, and mouth symbol. In the symbol timeline the eyes, nose, etc worked just fine, but when i enter the main timeline, the eyes and eyebrows didn't blink every 2 second as it supposed to and the pupils didn't move to where to it supposed to be as in the symbol timeline. I searched and try to find my mistakes but I'm new to this program and I don't have a clue. I would really appreciate if there is anyone that knows

Hello everyone.I have a chacacter turnaround and I was wondering if layer depth can be used inside the turnaround symbol? I'm looking to bring down the number of layers in the build and layer depth would help.
