Hi Everyone,       Looking for some advice if possible, just curious whether it's possible to add video footage to an Adobe animate VR document? Looks like components aren't available nor the video import option, can it be done through JavaScript so it wraps across the cylinder/sphere? Thank you very much. kind regards Sam 

Hey there guys, I have a question that probably has a very easy answer,  but after searching online for a while I couldn't figure out just how to  fix it. Anyways the problem is this,  when I run it, it gives me this warning and then the when i click "OK" it startes playing the movie..but when i upload the content i dont see it woking I assume I'm receiving this warning because I'm using Adobe Flash  Professional CS5 if this helps.  I am trying to get my Adobe Animate to export a gif. Every time I export the gif shows, but none of the side or ability to save it come up. I have tried restarting and zooming in and out, but nothing works.Please help

Hello! I'm new to scripting so bear with me. I've written a script (with help from ChatGPT) that loops through the frames on the selected layer and exports any frame with contents as a png with the name of the frame it's from. All I want to do is modify the script to loop through a user selection of the timeline, but I can't seem to work out how to return or make an array of selected frames. Hi guysI am trying to contain music/sound to a limited area between frames 1 to 28 I want to play the hole sound at the moment it will only play and stops playing at frame 28 where i have nav buttons to take the user to other parts of the time line.

Whenever I create a classic tween copying the last frame over, it only tracks the movement of the piece and not the rotation as well. How do I fix this?

when i play the audio from the start frame (frame 0) i can hear the audio, but when i am scrubing through my timeline i cannot. also if i press start from anywhere in timeline that is not the start the audio doesn't play. I am fairly new to adobe animate so i could be doing sometjing wrong. i am in action script 3.0 and used audacity to change te sample rate of audio so i could import (dont know if that helps). I am on a MacBook air. Can someone please help me

Hi!I need to do make an effect of scratching, like a Lottery Ticket is scratched.I have a Ticket PNG before scratching and a bottom layer PNG, which need to appear under the first one. First I tried to make a scratch PNG and use it as a mask, but it was not possible. For several reasons...Then I tried to paint it with some brush. But when exporting a movie it says : Unsuported Fetaure, multiframe masks are used.Tried to join, merge, break apart ... nothing works. Mask is not working.Any Ideas?

Hi,I have an Animate file that was originally created in 2020 that is used on a client's website, so it uses HTML5 canvas. My client asked for some minor changes but now when I publish the previous file (without editing) it's not working properly.  On the main timeline I have a pie shaped graphic, and each section is a button. When the button is clicked it goes to a specific frame label on the parent timeline and plays a movie clip. In the individual movie clips, it plays part of the animation and then stops, and when they click on another button, it plays the rest of the current movie clip, then goes back to the parent timeline to the specified label and plays that. I have not seen much on drag n drop on this forum or otherwise. Hey!I am beginner at Animate. I want the classic motion guide with the pencil tool to be seen after rendering, but can't find a way to do that.Also the objects are behind the path, but I want them to be on top of the path. Arrange > Bring to front is not working. Thanks

Hello!! For a while I've been trying to export through Video/Media, and it doesn't show up in the Media Encoder. It will instead show a blank error box. I've played around with my settings for a bit, I understand there are probably work arounds, but is there a fix to this I don't know of? 

can someone give me the code that makes a movieclip move forever when the arrow keys are pressed? im working on a pac-man flash recreation, im using flash 8, also i want the movieclip to move like how pac-man moves in the original game

Hi! I'm from Spain. I'd like to use Adobe Animate in English, but it only shows in Spanish.Things I've tried:(1) I went to my Creative Cloud desktop, Preferences, Applications and set English language as the predetermined installation language ("Idioma de instalación predeterminado").(2) I went to my Adobe Account, Prefered Languages and I set English (United States) as the first language (and only).Some details:Creative Cloud app is in Spanish. When I open the apps through Creative Cloud, Animate works in Spanish but Photoshop in English. Any clue will be really appreciated. Thank you very much! 

Hallo zusammen,  ich bin relativ frisch beim Thema Adobe Animate und taste mich aktuell über YouTube Videos und selbst ausprobieren.  Ich habe bereits erste Animationen dank der Adobe Anleitung erstellen. Nun zu meiner Frage: Ich habe über Freepik mit eine Figur rausgesucht und hinzugefügt. Der Hintergrund passt. Jedoch hat die Figur selbst einen Hintergrund. Wie kann ich diesen entfernen, sodass meine Figur sich frei bewegen kann, ohne dass der Hintergrund der Figur Datei ersichtlich wird.  Ich danke euch im voraus.   Liebe Grüße 

I can't export my animation due to the "A conflict exists with inherited definition," although I never used ActionScript (every question I found with this error they were using ActionScript). I need help fixing this, as I really don't want to restart my animation , but I can't fix this issue. I've attached my animation to help find the issue.

animate keeps selecting the whole frame when i go to a different frame and it's made it difficult and annoying for me to use and i can't find help anywhere.i saw a poster who had the same problem as me and the answer was "click the frame numbers instead", an though that works, ive tried it and it is more difficult than just using it normally. please help.

okay. im an avid user of adobe animate (it may not say on my account as im signed out of animate)HOWEVER when i started working today i was working fine then SUDDENLY as i try to select an object to move it to make a new keyframe the WHOLE.DAMN.FRAME.SELECTS.and ive never seen this and i want awnsers.AND DONT EVEN BOTH TELLING ME TO USE KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS BEWCAUSE SCREW THOES i dont use thoes anyways and never willso tell me how to fix this or i swear to god im taking the source code, editing it so its no longer legally your from the version i have, then im uploading it FOR FREE (im very mad and i have deadlines i need awnsers ASAP)
