Is there a panel or setting that will show a file's physical path location when clicked on.I've examined all of the panels and have checked settings.Scenario: While viewing hundreds of files (show items from subfolders), when I click on a file obviously there is a ton of info about the selected file. But I would like to know exactly (the path) to where that file is located. IS there a setting or particular panel, workspace or view that would show this?

I try to eject the hard drive from Bridge and nothing happens.I have to close Bridge entirely to be able to eject the hard drive from finder once Bridge has been open and browsed said hard drive.I've been searching the forums for a similar problem/solution, but haven't found anything.Can anyone point me towards a solution to this? I really like using Bridge over finder, but this but drives me up the wall.

Super specific question.. I am wondering if there is a way to notify computers on a local network when a label or keyword is added to a file. for example, we use Bridge to view and moniter InDesign pages for a newspaper, and currently we are wondering how we can improve the time between certain stages of each page, each page of the paper is its own InDesign file and each department (Ads, Journos, Designers) use bridge to access and view the pages, what usually happens is the journos will open a page, place any storys and photos on to the page, get out, us designers will see that, jump in and layout the page with place holder headings and anything else needed, then the journos will jump back into the page, write any headings and captions needed, then it gets printed for proofing and plating up. we are wanting to know, can we have the journolists jump out of the page, then mark it with "Ready to Layout" and us production people get a windows notification saying something l

Select any image (jpg, nef, tiff) > View > Full screen preview > right arrow key for next image. On changing slowly to view the next image and viewing it for 5 sec or more, the image is displays properly. On changing quickly, or very quickly, through the next 3-5 images, then stopping to view an image, the viewed image does not display properly; its brightness flickers and someimes its size flickers. Must restart Bridge to fix this. Tried purging the cache and relocating the cache, but neither solved the problem. Bridge 13.0.0.562. Windows 11 Pro (22H2, build 22621.755).  GeForce RTX 2060 (Studio driver 522,30).

Hi all! I wanted to share a script I've been working on - Text Substitutions! Inspired by PhotoMechanic's Code Replacements feature, this lets you add substitution [[targets]] to your metadata, and then have them replaced by any kind of text! About 50 substitutions are built in - letting you quickly swap in other metadata fields like the creation time, credit line, and location - and you can also create your own substitutions. You can find the script on Adobe Exchange for $5/month, or for free in my bridge-scripts github repo (the two versions are identical). Detailed information about how to use the program and its various features can be found on the wiki. This is still in development and it's based on my workflow, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to hear them out!

I have Adobe Bridge 2025 loaded on my laptop.  It allows me to download and batch rename files.  I also have Elements 2025 loaded on my machine.  From Bridge 2025, I cannot trigger access to Camera Raw - I receive an error message of  "Camera Raw Editing is not enabled".    If I right click on an image and try to open in Camera Raw I receive a message that "camera raw requires a qualifying product". I have older versions of Bridge and Photoshop and with the older Bridge I can get an older version of  Camera Raw to work BUT - the camera raw file types are limited to older camera versions from years ago. I now have Bridge 2025 and Elements 2025 since I wanted to use Camera Raw on current camera raw files.  I like Camera Raw's simple UI.     From time to time I can get Bridge 2025 to open camera raw for a .CR3 file by double clicking but not consistently and not more than one image at a time.  I can eget camera raw from

I am new to Adobe Bridge, and am exploring its functionality to possibly integrate into my workflow. I have an external SSD with folders and many subfolders of images. I would like to be able to use Bridge to search all the subfolders for images with the same prefix (e.g. search "CJD" to return "CJD-1", "CJD-2", etc.). The issue I am running into is that every search I make returns a mix of files within the SSD AND files within the SSD/.Trashes folder. Sometimes, the actual files meeting the search criteria aren't shown, only the ones in .Trashes. My SSD has several thousands of photos, but this issue persists when I search within a smaller subset of folders as well. Has anyone experienced this? I would at least like to remove the results from the .Trashes folder in my search. Under "View" I do not have "show hidden files" checked, so I don't think that is the issue.  Perhaps Bridge may have only indexed the .Trashes folder for some reason? How do I reorder maximum size images and see a preview of all images for pdf output? I see 1 image and says drag to reorder. Nowhere to drag to. Have to change to a smaller grid template and change order, then change back to maximum size. When using cs 6, would see chosen images and could move to differnt spot. Preview pane shows 1 image. Looked at help for this and didn't have any solution. Is something hidden or I don't have correct settings? Please advise. thanks

I have spent a lot of time using the online help system in an effort to get Adobe Bridge back to a viable working state. This effort has been in vain. I will not return to using Bridge, as I have found a far better and more reliable alternative.

While I've been culling photos in Filmstrip view, it has been glitching over several images or not selecting all the photos I've batch-selected. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and the issue is still happening! This has been happening for about a week.

I'm having a simillar problem to this on windows 10, updated to the latest version, cleared cache, reset the app.. did everything. All images for the index are on the onsite server, adobe bridge cs6 on another pc works like a charm. The latest version just won't.

Hi, one big issue I have moving from Windows Explorer to Adobe Bridge are the icon sizes. On Explorer they scale nicely, in Bridge they stay minute, even if I increase the tile size. Not sure what the point of the tile size slider at the bottom is really for, if the icons do not scale alongside the background tiles. Is this a bug or was this never proberly implemented?In the preferences under "Thumbnails" I dont see any option to make any changes. Thanks!

I just switched over from PHOTO MECHANIC - And it does this cool file sort feature when you look at your camera card, it shows you RAW and JPG with the same file name as one... which makes selecting your finals quicker. I can't figure out how to do this in Adobe Bridge 2020.Can anyone tell me how this is done please?I found a 'Auto Stack' selection under 'Stacks' but it just crashes my Mac without doing anything lol. Any help most appreciated thankyou.

Hi, I am using the magnifying glass to view if my photos are sharp or not. But it zooms in way to much, like in Lightroom I always use 50%. In Bridge it is 100%. Is there a way to make it 50% zoom? The only thing I can find to change is that I can zoom in even more... Just to look at pixels. Thanks

Seems to open in the background but can't get to it.I've reinstalled 3 times, reset preferences, cleaed the cashe, restarted my iMac but opens (shows in the Dock) but cannot see or use. Oh.... everything up to date and updated in creative cloud too! Any ideas anyone please? Thanks 

Hi. As of this morning, if I right click an image file in Bridge the default "Open with" is now Lightroom (pls see attached). I want the "Open with" default to be Photoshop like it always has been for many years. (I don't know why this changed to Lightroom). Can someone please advise how to do this? Thanks -

Hallo, ich habe das gleiche Problem wie einige andere hier auch.Es erscheint eine Fehlermeldung in der Bridge, sobald ich die RAW-Entwicklung anklicke. Da heisst es dann: Camera Raw-Bearbeitung nicht aktiviert. Camera Raw-Bearbeitung nur möglich, wenn ein berechtigtes Produkt zuvor lizensiert wurde.Was bitte soll der Blödsinn plötzlich???Mit dem "aus der Creativ Cloud abmelden und wieder anmelden" habe ich es bereits versucht. Das hilft gar nix! Im Paket ist die Bridge mit dem RAW Entwickler inkludiert und somit bei mir auch sehrwohl lizensiert! Bei meinen installierten Applikationen wird Camera-RAW auch angezeigt, allerdings fehlt der Button "öffnen" daneben. Das war auch bisher nicht wichtig, weil man die RAW-Entwicklung ja über die Bridge machte. Was ist hier los? Wie ist dieses Problem zu beheben? Eine schnelle Lösung muss her, denn die Bridge ist essentiell !!!

I can't open Adobe Camera Raw from Bridge even though I have a valid Lightroom Classic subscription, which is stated to be acceptable to be able to use Camera Raw. I have the Lightroom Plan with 1TB which includes Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic. Upon attempting to open Camera Raw through Bridge, I am greeted with this message:"Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product has been licensed" I have tried reopening LrC and Bridge to no avail. I am aware that LrC uses the same engine as ACR and has the same functionality. I want to open ACR specifically. Please advise.

Using the Adobe Custom Metadata extension, you can't copy or paste text from fields like a bag or single text. You can select the text in the relevant field, but copy/paste acts on the selected image(s) instead. This causes the user to duplicate images instead of trying to copy a metadata value from one image to others. The bug massively reduces the usefulness of using the panel in conjunction with AEM or for any QA workflows. Does anyone have a workaround/fix for this?

Trying to find my way around Bridge after a few years' break.The problem I have is with keywords.I have a great number of keywords popping up, that are not persistent.If I already have that word as a Sub Keyword, what do I do if the non-persistent (an irrelevant term if ever there was one) is checked.I've deleted so many keywords and they persistently rear their ugly heads again, completely clogging the Keyword panel.Please share the secret of removing keywords which are in italics - when that keyword exists as a sub-keyword to a keyword.
