After updating PS, LR, CR and Bridge to the latest versions a few days ago, all file associations in Bridge were set to "None".I couldn't open any JPG, TIFF, PSD, DNG etc... from bridge by simply clicking on its thumbnail and "Open with" didn't work either as it wasn't showing PS as an option.I restored the associations for the most used file types manually but this really shouldn't happen after an update.Anyone else having the same issue?By the way, if you restored your file associations manually DON'T click the "Reset default" or all your associations will be reset to "None".Bob 

I have all three preferences (automatic, read, write) turned off.  What are the implications for this?  I am adding the keywords I want and manually choose the parent keyword if I want it.  If I move to Lightroom, will this setting matter?

After exporting to jpg, how can a user see the preserved filename in Windows?If I open the exported file in Bridge the preserved filename is there, so I’m assuming it’s bound to the file.

Bridge automatically replace files when I copy or move it into folder where file with the same name already exist without asking "Auto-resolve/Skip/Replace"I did not notice when it starts and assume that I lost a lot of files when manage in BridgeResetting with Ctrl+Alt+Shift did nothing.Reinstalling and deleting everything in register did nothing.*But when I copy or move files into folder on othe drive nothing happens, it does not copied or moved Windows 10Bridge 2020 10.0.3.138

I accidentally enabled "Show Items from Subfolders" option for the PC.  Now it's all grayed out and can't disable it.  It shows a zillion icons for my Drive E: !  Selecting another Drive will not have this problem, only for "This PC" will do this...Any ideas how to fix?  Thanks...

Sometimes I by mistake hit Ctrl + E and my external disk from which I work dissappears.  I then have to restart my iMac. I guess there is a simpler way to get it back. Can anyone tell me?

HI! WHEN USING THE BATCH RENAME TOOL IN BRIDGE, I AM ALLOWED TO ADD AS MANY LINES AS I WISH, SO THAT I CAN COMPOSE VERY COMPLICATED FILE NAMES. THE WINDOW SIZE IS NOT VARIABLE, THOUGH, SO WHEN I WANT TO SEE THE PARTS OF THE FILE NAMES THAT ARE AT THE END OF IT I NEED TO SCROLL DOWN. SCROLLING DOWN IS ANNOYING AND TIME-CONSUMING. WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO HAVE AN ENLARGEABLE WINDOW, THEN? THIS WAY I COULD SEE MORE LINES WITHOUT NEEDING TO SCROLL DOWN. MANY THANKS

Hello everyone. I work with a team who often go out and take lots of photos and they want to store, organize and share these images via Teams, which is part of Microsoft SharePoint. I thought Bridge would be the easiest way for them to quickly and automatically rename their images and add metadata before they share the image. I was able to sync my SharePoint sites and One Drive so that I can access these from Adobe Bridge. However, I found that when I access a SharePoint site folder it is only recognizing the images that are saved in an area called "style library". And stranger, it only is recognizing one of them. I have several created ad they are not showing up. It does not recognize anything saved anywhere else on the site. Most people are saving things in folders in the documents library. My only workaround right now is to have users upload all their images from their camera roll to their OneDrive. Then use Bridge to rename and tag. Then move the images to Teams. Any

100 of my videos taken in the last few days show no metadata and can't have any added.  Many had data and it disappeared.  If I go to CS6, data is there but not back in CC Bridge.   Then there is the wrong date problem.  While those 100 have the correct date taken, the latest shots, there are another 191 from about the last month that have the date 11/24/2019 07:49:16 mixed in with still images with the correct dates. Then there are hundreds with data, correct date and no thumbnails.  These come and go. Having to return to CS6 all the time more than doubles my work time. This is like amateur hour for a a supposedly professional program charging $11/month.  Why can't these developers solve these problems instead of finding new ways to make more time doubling changes, as the need to do cropping and exposure in separate steps in camera raw, when they could be done in one before?  1- Correct data of successive shots is in 202

Hi, I noticed that in 11.0.1, windows, if multiple keywords are added from a template, they will be merged inside quotes: If I try to add Keyword1 and Keyword2 in a metadata template, they will show up  as "Keywork1; Keyword2" instead of keyword1; keyword2, once added to a file. This works regardless if I'm picking up the 2 KWs from a file, or writing them down with the ; in between.   Will try on Mac, did anyone notice it? I have started a uservoice thread on the topic.

Needed to upgrade to windows 10 to run new updates ...All apps show as up to date in creative suite for photography but only photoshop opens..

Hi, I am trying to open an image in Camera Raw 13.2 but I cannot see the function to open it in Bridge or Photoshop.I have a full subscription to CC and I can see Camera Raw, Bridge and Photoshop are all up to date in my apps.Can anyone help please?

I have constructed a keyword list for personal photos.  My diese question concerns surnames.  None of the choices for hierarchical preferences are currently checked (automatic, write, read).  I have people associated with surname groups so some of the people do not have the surname, for instance a man who married a woman with the surname.  If the surname is Jones, and I have a person named Samantha Jones Rogers, I just tick her name, not the parent keyword "Jones".  She would come up in the search for "Jones" as I have retained the maiden names for all married women.  Is there something I am missing here?Another consideration:  if I were to switch to Lightroom, how would my choices now impact how a search would work?  Should I change the read, write preferences?  I am not exactly sure what they are and how they impact searching in general. Another related question concerns place names.  So if I have a state, say Massachusetts, with

hello, newly installed (as of yesterday) adobe bridge 2021 mac version causes very heavy GPU load on activity monitor in macos catalina (up to 2.000 %)  can you please help to fix this bothersome issue which makes fans works like crazy and make unbearable noise, which is very unusual for macs. the sound and CPU usage stop as soon  as i quit, and start as soon as i open bridge. very disturbing, PLEASE HELP!!! thanks, murat.

I am simply very annoyed. I have legitimate Adobe Bridge 11.0.1.109 and Photoshop 22.3.0 installed on a fully up to date Windows 10 PC and and have encountered the file name problem and have followed the Adobe instructions in respect of enabling "Long Path" in Reg.Editor ~ ~ ~ it worked for a while but has now stopped and I can no longer view my picture fles in Bridge and can only view them in Photoshop with difficulty after unpredictable behaviour in Photoshop. What the hell is going on and when do I get financial recompense for the purchase of the Adobe products I have purchased and compensation for them not working ? All I want is damned software that works for my Photographic Hobby especially within the current Covid-19 restrictions.

I'm having this issue when I'm using Bridge to cull my images. I've noticed that some flicker and others don't, but haven't been able to pinpoint a direct cause. When I import them into Lightroom or even Photoshop, the flickering stops which leads me to believe it is an issue with Bridge. Has anyone else come across a similar issue or even suggestions on what to troubleshoot?   Check the video below.   {Thread title edited by Moderator}

If I try to use the option File>Open With", the only choice provided is to initiate Photoshop 2020 as a default.  How do I change this to "Photoshop 2021 (default)"? 

I am on a Mac "Big Sur". I have updated all my adobe cc apps.  If I use a raw file I can find enhance in camera raw.  But I am interested in trying the 'enhance' feature in camera raw on a file I have already edited that is now a TIFF file.  But can't seem to get there.  Bridge has no option from tiff to camera raw (not 'edit with' - adobe camera raw is not an option to choose), not command R (just makes a beep but doesn't do anything).  I have tiff and jpg selected in file handling to open automatically with setttings in the preferences panel. I have opened, closed and rebooted.  If I open through photoshop and then camera raw - enhance never shows up as an option.  So I tried through bridge.  But TIFF files have no way of opening in camera raw from bridge.   Suggestions please.

MacOS 10.15.7, iMac Pro. Any one else? Adobe, please fix this ASAP.

Hello,  I have just installed the new 2021 version of Bridge onto my mac and when I drag an image from my desktop into the app on my dock - the image doesn't appear.  I have worked with an older version of Bridge successfully in this way  but wondering if there is a new feature, ie way to view the image or if there might be some other issue at play?Thank you

Do you have to have a paid Creative Cloud account in order to use Adobe Bridge to Camera Raw to Super Resolution? If not, how do I access this option - it keeps saying it can't verify my account even though I'm signed in and have verified my internet is working.  If you have to register Bridge, where to I find the license number?

In adobe Bridge ver 11.1.0.109 when I select the "Fade up word.ffx" preset and select "Place in Adobe After Effects CC2019" it opens Adobe After Effecs CC2020. It seems to open the latest After Effects no matter which version I ask it to place it in. Is there a way to make it place the animation preset in the version of After Effects that I select (eg. CC2019)?

(Have tested on both my 16' MacBook Pro & PC at home, confirmed on both).While I understand the feature is pretty new to Bridge and can test it fine with both JPEGs and RAW images, it seems I cannot enhance images with Super Resolution with Camera Raw in Bridge currently. Tested on two different systems but cannot find a work around to this currently, I mostly work with PNGs in my artwork (via Photoshop & Procreate mostly) but hoping a fix for this new feature is coming shortly. Would love to know of any fixes or workarounds to test this feature out! Thanks for your time. 

This used to be one of the more useful and used elements of Bridge...what happened to it? Where did it go? I am SUPER frustrated with these newest versions of Photoshop and Raw and Bridge...all crap.
