It's frustrating that I rarely get a response from any of my posts in the Bridge area, so I'm reposting this latest one here:In Bridge, after opening a raw file into Camera Raw and making adjustments, the thumbnails in Bridge do not show the adjusted file even though the sidecar (.xml) files exists. In other words, it show the unadjusted thumbnail. When I reopen the affected .RAF (Fuji raw file) in Camera Raw, the adjusted picture appears. Bridge Version: 13.0.2 (shows that it's up do date)OS: Windows 10Lots of available space for cache
Windows 11 x64, 64 gRam, 16xi9's, Quadro RTX 5000. Running the latest version of PS (23.5.1) and Bridge (12.0.3). Bridge usually crashes a couple of times a day. It has gotten so bad that I have down loaded Faststone Image Viewer to be able to see and select files. This morning when trying to access files on a network drive via bridge, it just crashes before I can do anything. After about the 8th time I have downloaded an older version of bridge. I have tried in the past to re-set the preferences, etc, doesn't do a bit of good. I would be embarrassed to have a product that functioned so poorly. I guess I am the fool for paying so much for PS and associated products SINCE 1998!!!!
Does anyone else have this issue? Adobe bridge will recognize my Z8 files and convert then to DNG IF I connect my Z8 directly to my computer with a cable, leaving the memory card in the camera. However, if I use a card reader Adobe bridge does not recognize the files. I have tried two different card readers with the same result. Let me know if you have this problem too and how you solved it. Thank you in advance for your help!
I just can't seem to figure this one out! The database I'm working with has a rule that the first image needs to be numerical and the rest of the image span to be sequential alphabetical. For example, I'll have these images:IMG_2013.jpgIMG_2014.jpgIMG_2015.jpgIMG_2016.jpgIMG_2017.jpgand need to rename them for whatever the UPC is, for example:982371818.jpg982371818a.jpg982371818b.jpg982371818c.jpg982371818d.jpg
I am trying to add a script copy my filenames to IPTC Keywords without the file extension in Bridge ver12. I have tried three different scripts from older discussion chains (2010-16) and none seem to be working. I did add the Utlity Script Pack and the script to move File Name to the IPTC Title and it is working. Can anyone help?
Hi, Problem with Adobe Bridge. Mac os 14.4.1 and bridge 14.0.3.200. Get photos camera => (advanced dialog) This device does contain any supported media. The problem started after the update. All memory cards have the same problem. (Nikon Z7 and XQD cards). Photoshop and camera raw are also the latest versions. Best regards Markus
Sometimes I need to copy the name of an completed image in Bridge to use for another image. Until recently I could just right-click on the image, select rename, highlight the words and right-click to select copy, that no longer works. When I now right-click, it deselects the highlighted words. I can highlight words and copy in any another document e.g. this message. I have the latest version of Bridge and my Windows 11 is up to date.
For some reason, I cannot get folders to automatically open in a new tab in Bridge, Beta or otherwise. It uses the same tab that is open. I normally right-click on the folder I want to browse in Explorer and choose, "Browse in Adobe Bridge (Beta)". It always opens one tab only and does not retain previous tabs. Before, it would open the program with previous tabs still intact and open a new tab for the new browse command. I haven't had any issues with this until I switched computers. I can't find it anywhere in the preferences, and it did it automatically on the older computer I was using. Would love to have this feature working for me again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. External hard drive appears in the menu, but Bridge does not show me the contents. I'm on Windows 11
Basically, no matter what I do, not matter what solution I try to follow, Adobe Bridge 2023 crashes immediately after starting up. I don't get to click anything, I don't get to press any buttons or shortcuts, it just loads the UI and crashes after about a second. I'd love some help since I kind of rely on Adobe Bridge for my photography.
I'm working with Bridge 2022, on ma late 2013 Mac Pro. I've noticed that whenever I edit a file in camera raw or change the color label, the date modified gets updated, seems normal, but for my Cr2 files the date modify metadata doesnt get updated. is this a bug that im late to fixing? Just in case I've also tried on Bridge 2024 and CR2 files are not being updated with date modified. Just noticed as well that NEF files do the same My TIFFs, DNGs, and JPGs all update the date modified metadata for something as little as changing the color label. can someone help explain this?
Ouvrire un fichier photos dans Caméra Raw à partie de Bridge; Bridge se bloque.Version de Bridge:14.0.4.222
Photo Downloader (Bridge 14) is not reading all the files. Each time I retry, I get a different number of files appearing, however there's a substantial amount of photos missing which I can see when I connect my camera directly to the computer. This happened with earlier versions and I thought they had fixed this. I am using a Delkin CF Express Card with a Delkin reader and the photos were shot on a Nikon Z8. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TY.
I have been trying to set up the behaviour of a slideshow in Bridge, using View>Slideshow Options. On the Display Options panel I am unable to change Slide Duration, Caption or Transition. All three supposedly have drop-down menus, but when I click on the down-arrows, that field highlights in blue but nothing else happens - I don't get any menus of options to select. I have checked that I'm using the latest version of Bridge. Is there a fix for this?
How can I add support for webP images? This seems like a pretty standard image format. Not sure why this isn't standard in Bridge. Pretty annoying that I can't see these previews in Bridge or on Windows. . . that is one of the core functions of Bridge, visually browsing images PDF etc in a variety of formats.
I'm using the very latest verions of both apps. I give colour labels to images in Lightroom Classic. Then I export these images as TIFs and check the folder in Bridge. The star ration is displayed corretly, but not the colour labels. In bridge the diffrerent colours don't show up, the are all just labeled as white. It would be helpful to the exact same colour labels as in Lightroom.
For ahile the Bridge could have multiple Windows by pressing control N. That was too simple, so it seems they changed it again. Now how to?
There used to be a plug-in or something for older versions - is this still the case? Could you share here if it is please?Don't people use that as a function of sharing images quickly with people? I can't live without it, and the Photoshop action is so slow and awful and not what you need. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Wir haben das Problem, dass uns im Bridge nicht alle Ordner angezeigt werden. Aber im Finder können wir sie sehen. Haben das Problem an 2 Macs, woran kann das liegen? Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe.
I find the newest version of Bridge to run very slow. Its close to unusable. Multiple times the rainbow wheel comes up for basic tasks like moving files (.cr3's) from one folder to another. Copying file settings from one file and pasting them to multiple is creating lag, even jsut brosing a folder with lots of files in it (2k+) is going slowly. this was never an issue before... Anyone else? [macbook pro 2021 M1max, 64gb ram, 1TB drive, 382gb free space]
I haven't done much work with metadata for quite a few years now but need to get back into it again. I can't remember how long ago this was, but might have been with Bridge CS3.Before in Bridge I had a nice list of hierarchical keywords I had used previously and could just expand these and select the correct ones for the image(s) I needed to tag.Similarly, in the FileInfo panel I had various metadata fields where you could select from a list of previously used values.Where were these values saved to? I've a nasty feeling they weren't saved anywhere obvious and so I don't have a backup of them.Similarly, where would these values be saved with the current version of Bridge?
After an update a month or two ago Adobe Bridge Photo Download stopped saving settings such as the last file download location or date format etc.We have CC installed on two machines and they are both doing exdactly the same thing since that update.Bridge is 10.0.3.138We are running windows 10 PCs version 1909 build 18363.720We are constantly downloading images from camera cards so having to change the settings back every time makes a real mess of our workflows which is extremely frustrating.Any help getting this sorted would be greatly appreciated.
I would like to filter on a filename "pattern" such as all the files that start with or contain the letters "Color" for example. How is that possible in Adobe Bridge? If at all?
Hello, We are uploading images and PDFs to a shared Bridge cloud library. There are a few issues we are running into and I wanted to see if it is a Bridge limitaiton or if i am just not finding the right settings. 1. When clicking on images within the cloud library, nothing shows in the Metadata pane. Is this not possible to view or are my settings not correct/ The only way to view any info is to right-click on the image and select Get Info.. 2. The Preview window only shows 9 items for folders that have many more images. I also am aware of the Content tab but that only shows local or network drives/files and not the Cloud Library. Is this a Bridge limitation? Is there no way to scroll through more documents? 3. Is there any way to view multipage PDFs? They do not show pages beyond page 1 in Bridge app. You need to open the Creative Cloud app, go to Files > Your Libraries. Click on the library, find the PDF you want and then right-click Export a Copy. This is way
Accessed Move from the context menu with a preselection of 19 PSD files (1.6 GB). Each of the drives involved is a fast NVMe drive. The process should not take more than a few seconds. As seen, Bridge even crashed and needed to be killed from Task Manager (Win 10).There is nothing special about these files (no point in sending them in). They embed a RAW as a DNG, as thousands of other files Bridge has processed in recent years.
