Bonjour j'ai installé bridge 2023 sur mon iMac ventura je n'ai pas accès au dossiers du bureau seulement les dossiers des périphériques que faire?

This short test script used to work getting a files description in Bridge, but now it fails on the line tha has: XMPConst.OPEN_FOR_UPDATE. The error is XMP Exception: OpenFile retuned false. Hello,This was a first for me after using Bridge for many years.I append a metadata template to a batch of Raw files.  The info is clearly there..I then move - through drag and drop -  my Raw selects to another folder and all the template info vanishes.I discovered a truly annoying workaround, which was to use the Move to in the File dropdown menu.Was drag and drop eliminated?Thank you 

Most of my ai. files are just showing up with the illustrator logo.   Most of these files are downloads from Adobe Stock.   I need to be able to see the previews.  I am on a Mac.  Will Bridge slove this problem?  I need to be able to view them from my downloads folder.   I just installed Bridge but it looks like it is not able to access my downloads folder.   Any help appreciated.  I feel like I mught be missing an obvious step.   Thanks!

Hi Community,bit if a strange one here. I run an PC and a Mac in my studio and am getting a completely different file size when making the exact same contact sheet sourced from the exact same images ??  the Mac make the contact sheet altealst 6 time a lager files size than the PC does. reading from the same images on my server. ?? anyone know what's going on here ??  for example, i just made an 11 page PDF contact sheet. The PC sheet was 4.3mb and the Mac version was 39mb and that's even at a super low res.

But it seems Bridge only access one folder level in a target disk for smart collections. Options I do not know about here?Process I have done so far.Started with exporting my old Aperture library holding 12k images in 800ish folders on 1ste level with several folders under each of these. This was impossible for me to handle manually. Found a hack to adjust Aperture so it run under Sonoma - and exported to a single level folder. Success. This sorted my 2000-2010 libraries.I have a period between 2010 and 2019 where I have camera specific folder structures on 1ste level. These I have manually lifted (puhh) to one level.I then have the time from 2020-2023(totday) where I have a common project file structure where source files are placed in a folder up to 4 levels below in the target disk. I have a Macbook Air 13" M1 (for specs reference). Every time I open Bridge it takes immensely long to load content, so macOS informs me that the app is non-responsive and suggests that I "force quit" the all or ignore. Please advise as this sucks! 

I Batch Renamed a hundred or so RAW files in Bridge and mistakenly chose to "Move to Other Folder" instead of copying them, but only some were moved (about 43 of the 150 or more files). I've tried searching by the file names and they're nowhere to be found. I saw a previous post saying that Adobe cannot lose files, but I can't find them anywhere. Has anyone been able to find them once they're lost?

How do I associate Windows Media Player with .mov files in Adobe Bridge? I can't find the Windows Media Player.exe. It is on my computer... somewhere. Thanks!

My Inspiron 7700 all in one computer with Intel Core i7 and Intel iRISx graphics does not support GPU acceleration required for Bridge.  With Windows 10, I was able to edit in Bridge until the latest Bridge update.  So, I downloaded the earliest version of Bridge (12.0.4) available - and I still can not edit in Bridge.  Any suggestions - or do I have to buy a new computer?

Can't open multiple windows in bridge  - and can't find way to allow it in preferences - any help?

Hi, I have installed a new Bridge and unfortunately the changes made to it make my earlier workflow very difficult compared to the previous version: - Enter works like a cursor in the content panel instead of opening files - preview colors of photos (all types of files) are completely different than displayed in PS. I tried to change the color spaces of the monitors, but it only introduced chaos and I don't know how to go back to the previous settings - enlarging the size of the thumbnaili using ctrl + scroll does not work, and the magnifying icon under the panel, e.g. "content", overlaps other icons if it is squeezed, making it impossible to use it - the overall layout is worse in my opinion and it cannot be adjusted to my requirements and habits I wanted to go back to the older version, but then the cooperation with the new PS does not work (e.g. image processor) and I think I will have to downgrade the PS to the previous version as well, so these new updates

Why does it take such a long time in Bridge 2024 (and 2023 and before) to show the subfolders of folders full of images?If I have a folder with about 1.000 image files, it might be acceptable to wait a little bit until all images are loaded from cache or the thumbnails are created.But why are not all folders shown from the beginning? There are no thumbnails/previews to load for folders. And often you want to navigate some folders deep and have to wait on each "level" all images to be loaded before the folders are shown.Even if you just expand the folder in the folder's pane it took a very long time to show the subfolders - even if there no thumbnail must be shown. Please correct this annoying behaviour and show the folder directly at first at no time.

Adobe FINALLY fixed some of the issues when Version 13.0.4 was released, and has put back the ability to have multiple windows.  Thank you.     HOWEVERIn Version 14.0.0 the ability to label and rate photos has been changed.  WHY??  In many, many previous versions of Bridge there was a check box "Use Ctrl for Labels & Ratings" at the botton of the content window.  That no longer is there - and I have been unable to change the very confusing custom keyboard settings to get that back.  ADOBE - WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO US??Can anyone advise a work around so I can just press a key 1-9 for labels and ratings?

I have gone through these forums as best I can, every other problem with this seems to be resolved by simply launching Photoshop or Lightroom. Neither of those have worked for me, and I'm not getting any error message. If I right click on an image, open in camera raw does not appear in the context menu. If I select an image and go to file, open in camera raw is grayed out. I have rebooted my system relaunched Photoshop relaunched bridge, nothing is making it come back. What can I do?

In some cases (not in every), if I rate some photos with 5 stars, the filter list is not updated properly.It still shows only "No Ratings" and not some with 5 stars ratings.This display remains, even if Bridge finished the "Creating Preview ..." and all that time consuming stuff in a folder. Windows 11, Bridge 2024 14.0.0.102

Hi,Having finally updated CC now that I have a new Mac, I find that in Bridge Thumbnail View the star ratings are no longer a row of stars but a digit and a single star e.g. instead of **** it's 4* .   It's much harder to use now, especially with my eyesight, and the rest of the star block is vacant so there's no display area saved. The current Adobe discription shows a row of stars, although that's the view I see in Details View only now.Is there any way to get the row of stars back in Thumbnail View? Thanks!-Michael

I am using Windows, and I was holding off on updating Bridge because of the removal of the new window feature, as its very important to my workflow at a high volume studio. I saw the latest release reintroduced that feature so I decided to go ahead and update Bridge and Photoshop to hopefully the little bit of bugginess I was experiencing with Photoshop. Once I updated I kept getting an error trying to open anything from Bridge to Photoshop, so I decided to go back to the versions that were working. Now, no matter what version of Photoshop I run, when I try to Image Process from Bridge 2022, I get a popup saying to update to the latest version of Photoshop. This is very frustrating as it has put my entire studio on hold. Please consider professionals who make a living with your programs before making asinine changes that no one asked for.

When I try to load files into Photoshop layers from Bridge into Photoshop I get the message "install latest version of Photoshop to continue.." I have installed the latest versions of both. It worked fine before I last updated.

I recently Updated Adobe Bridge and now when I try to open the app i only get a blank screen. Has anyone else ran into this?

If I'm in full screen mode and add color label by num pad (Windows 11) to a photo, in 50% of the cases, the label is set but not shown. I then have to go one photo back and forth the update the label visualization.This is very annoying and unreliable - since I cannot be sure, if its just a display problem or wether the color label really wasn't set.

Hi, I am yet to navigate across all Bridge features, so I am still tweaking and fine-tuning my panels; nevertheless, I am facing some technical difficulty related to dragging and dropping files; ostensibly, it's feasible to drag and drop links, folders...etc  from  Bridge to Windows OS directories, but not the other way around.  Is there a way to unlock this feature if available, to cut both ways, so to speak?P.SScreen record attached   

Since updating my mac to sonoma 14 Bridge no longer works. It opens as a white screen with balck windows and no text, nothing!Ive updated to the latest version but to no avail.Can anyone throw any light on this issue please?
