I've imported lots of RAWs and jpgs from my camera using Bridge. From there, I want to split the RAWs into a sub folder and then start culling the jpgs.I use the filter so I can select only RAWs - then I do ctrl-A to select all the RAW files and then move to my RAWs folder.I do this - check the correct number of files are selected - but find that it's copied most of the jpgs too. It doesn;t seem to be respecting the filter settings.
I'd love to see Adobe collaborate with Synology to develop a streamlined version of Bridge tailored for Synology. This integration would allow users to easily sort, view thumbnails, and potentially utilize NAS storage instead of Adobe's cloud. I'm eager to assist in testing and refining this concept. Additionally, introducing an automatic project sorter would be beneficial. By creating a customizable pipeline blueprint, it would simplify asset management. For instance, while I compile graphics and vector elements for team banners, searching in Bridge can be time-consuming. An auto-sort feature would not only index these assets but also ensure they're stored systematically. This would make the search experience akin to browsing an internal clipart website.
I've just updated to the latest updates for Bridge and Photoshop. Photoshop allows the selection of my Nvidia A3000 (laptop) GPU, but Bridge does not. Computer is a recent high-spec Asus model running Win 11, kept current for updates. I've rebooted after the Adobe updates, also after updating the Nvidia driver to current.Bridge Ver. 14.0.0.102Thoughts? Brian
Good morning all. I uploaded the newest version of PS and Bridge this morning (2024) and notice that now RAW files will not open in ACR from Bridge, but Jpegs will. Thoughts/Suggestions? ThanksLiam
Hi folks, I'm a Dell / Alienware owner who has the common problem of all my panels colapsing anytime i minimize bridge. As this seems to be a graphics driver problem, I'm not hopeful that it will ever be fixed. That said, does anyone know if/how I can map a keyboard shortcut to "reset workspace"? That'd make me significantly more content. Cheers!-cory
Hey, can we pls fix this shortcut problem with "show items in subfoilders (under view , I am translating this from german) The last versions of Bridge I was able to assign this very helpfull shortcut but now it seems to be impossible. Maybe we can get a menu to assign shortcuts this would also be nice. Bridge Version 13.0.0.562 No shortcut can be assigned (via keyboard MacOs Extensions) Alternatively : I would allways prefere to see everything that is in the folder structure and after I see everything I sort it by date/extension/kind etc.
The keyboard shortcust in Bridge CC are not well done. There is a shortcut for blue/secondary - bot no shortcut for "no label" which I use constantly.I assigned command + 9 in keyboard shortcust on Mac OS preferences for Bridge 2019. But it doesn't work. If I type command + 9 I get a blue lable, not a "no label"How can I change the keyboard shortcuts for Adobe bridge. It can be done in Photoshop - it needs to be done in Bridge.
what are the shortcuts for the following buttons - Go back and Forward?
It used to be that you would press Cmd+B or Cmd+L for Review Mode or Fullscreen Mode. THEN! Next you would press H for Heads-up display. AND THEN! Next you could also press L for more options. I found the one thing has now moved under the View menu > Slideshow Options... H no longer works. L no longer works. Where have these gone? Are the shortcuts gone? Where is "Adobe Bridge Review Mode Commands" or "Adobe Bridge Slideshow Mode Commands"? Why are these things not in the Helpx file? Especially in the shortcuts section of Help? BTW, the "Adobe Bridge Review Mode Commands" appears to still work if you know the keyboard shortcuts. [ and ] for rotate. 1-5 and 6-9 for ratings and color codes. All that still appears to work.
Well... many of the previous posts requesting this are buried deep in the pages of this forum and so I'm putting in the request again, hoping that a new set of Adobe eyes sees this and thinks 'Hey, that's a great idea!'. Can you please add Custom Keyboard Shortcuts to Adobe Bridge? Virtually every other Adobe app has custom keyboard shortcuts and for those of us that use Bridge, this would be an incredibly valuable update. I can't tell you how much of my life I've lost to the many mouse clicks I need to make in order to select a group of images and then have the Photoshop tools in Bridge load them into layers. Has to be close to at least one year of my life wasted. Please, someone at Adobe, make this a priority. It should have been implemented well over a decade ago. I'd like to trade the mouse clicking time for sipping coffee 🙏.
Hi, when have keyboard other than English and have Adobe Bridge in English, I have this warning message:"Bridge has detected a keyboard language different than operating system which may cause some keyboard shortcuts to not work."This is truely problematic. How to have Adobe Bridge using French keyboard shortcut, when Adobe Bridge interface is in English language ?It is very common English interface while using a software in English. In most European countries you cannot sell a laptop with a US/UK layout, as it needs to be local. Regards
I would like to be able to trigger a shortcut to simply rename a single file instead of opening the Batch Rename menu. Is there any way to enable that? I would normally use KeyBoard Maestro to trigger the Edit > Rename menu but the voice DOES NOT exist in that menu, which is absurd.
Is there a way in Adobe Bridge you can edit keyboard shortcuts?
Hi everyone!I have been using Lightroom for a decade, but only started experimenting with Bridge, because LR takes quite a lot of space from my hard drive as the catalogs get huge. It seems that Bridge would be more efficient in that sense. At least for now it also seems that culling photos is a lot faster with bridge, because it opens previews a lot faster. So I am thinking, should I maybe use Bridge to cull and narrow down the photos and then import only the selected ones to Lightroom or maybe ditch the Lightroom completely and use Bridge+Camera Raw+Photoshop. However, I have a couple of questions. Is there any way to customise the keyboard shortcuts? I love how easy picking usable and refusing unusable photos in Lightroom is. X marks a photo refused and after going through them all just press comand-delete, and it delete all the unusable away from taking up the hard drive space. It seems that in Bridge you can mark a photo as rejected by pressing backspace/delete, but when you w
Is it possible to create a keyboard shortcut that places 1 photo or a selection of photos directly in InDesign?( command: File > Place > In InDesign )
I just started using Bridge only for culling my images and it works better than PM. Only problem is zooming. I would like to zoom with Z or spacebar, but for the life of me I can't even figure out how to zoom usually on Bridge. Plus and minus don't work separately and when using cmd or ctrl or opt or shift... the only zoom I found was when I click on the image and its super clumsy. So I tried to see the shortcuts in the program and change them but no luck there..Can anyone help
Hot to make new and change keyboard shortcuts in adobe bridge?
Trying to run Contact Sheet II from BridgeTools->Photoshop->ContactSheet IIError Box comes up.Latest version (25.0) of photoshop is installed
Hello, Hoping someone can assist. I use batch editing to resize albums in both vertical and horizontal but the latest update has removed (or perhaps moved / renamed) this feature from the tool drop down menu on Bridge. It is an essential tool for our business and we wondered if anyone could assist us. Thanks in advance
In the tools section, the Photoshop option which contained the batch action I generally used for resizing images is now missing. Where has this gone?
When I enter a word in the search box of the keywords, it highlights all occurrences and when you hit the triangle button you scroll through them one at a time. Unfortunately when I get to the occurrence I want and pause there, it automatically goes back to the first occurrence in the list unless I remember to clear the word out of the search box as soon as I get to the keyword section I want. It is a very annoying thing that just started happening within the last few months. I have a very extensive nested set of keywords I use and it is impractical for me to limit the occurrence of a word to only one place in the keyword list. Anyone else experiencing this or have any ideas how to prevent this? Thanks. I have attached my system information.
I just wanted to post a big thank you to Adobe for what seems like actually listening to the users and bringing an important and much-used feature back to Bridge 14! Multiple windows provides greater usability than any 'tab' arrangement could, and there was no reason to remove it from Bridge 13. Thanks again!
I’ve been comparing the new Bridge 14.0 to 12.0.4 and like version 13, it still isn’t in a usable state for getting work done. •Folder Panel: The new smooth scrolling for the folders panel is awesome, except it’s around twice as slow as the system scrolling speed so it’s time consuming scrolling a lot of folders. •Content Panel: Similar to v12 the archaic stepped scrolling for the content panel is around 2-4x faster than the system speed. •Content Panel: For v14 file names in the content panel now get truncated to the point of uselessness. If the file name doesn’t fit in the tile space then you’re left with only the first character of the name. In v12 it would truncate the middle of the text so you could still see the most important parts of the file name. •Preview Panel: For v14 the file names in the preview panel get truncated near the beginning instead of in the middle like v12 potentially hiding important text. •Preview Panel: Similar to v12 the file name g
Hi. I am a veteran in Premiere, AFX and Photoshop. However I am new in Adobe Bridge and migrating from ACDSee and I am trying to figure out how something to improve my workflow. I have been using ACDSee for cataloguing images, and there is something called categories, they can be arranged in hierarchy through various levels of subcategories just like keywords in Bridge. However, the simplicity in ACDSee is that in the same categories menu where you assign them, you can select them later. 1 click assign, and later 1 click to find and display. Fast as lightspeed.ACDSee Screenshot of what I am talking about, same window to assign or to find in one click. In Bridge I started to add keywords in the same way, and looks pretty nice and straightforward. However, when later I try to select the images through keywords, It can´t be made through the same window menu.I have 2 choices:1) Using FIND, criteria Keywords and specify where to look for.2) Using FILTERS, after sel
When I press Cmd+I to view metadata of a file in Bridge, it reverts to the 'Basic' panel every single time. In the previous version of Bridge, once I switched to the 'Origin' panel, it stayed stuck on 'Origin', also for the next files. Now it reverts to the 'Basic' view every time. Not a critical bug, but annoying if I need to see the Origin data for several files.(Yes, I know I can hit Cmd+o after I've hit Cmd+i) Mac OSX 12.6.8Bridge 2024 (14.0)
