Using the Adobe Custom Metadata extension, you can't copy or paste text from fields like a bag or single text. You can select the text in the relevant field, but copy/paste acts on the selected image(s) instead. This causes the user to duplicate images instead of trying to copy a metadata value from one image to others. The bug massively reduces the usefulness of using the panel in conjunction with AEM or for any QA workflows. Does anyone have a workaround/fix for this?

Trying to find my way around Bridge after a few years' break.The problem I have is with keywords.I have a great number of keywords popping up, that are not persistent.If I already have that word as a Sub Keyword, what do I do if the non-persistent (an irrelevant term if ever there was one) is checked.I've deleted so many keywords and they persistently rear their ugly heads again, completely clogging the Keyword panel.Please share the secret of removing keywords which are in italics - when that keyword exists as a sub-keyword to a keyword.

I have been using adobe camera raw as my primary image preview option, but once again, I'm trying to see if Bridge review mode can be more functional for me.  I'm finding it more helpful than I did at first but want to see if there's anything I can do to make it even more efficient for me. The primary stumbling block for me is seeing the images at an appropriate resolution. A majority of my photography is quite close-up macro, often an extreme macro with extension tubes, where I'm taking handheld images of bugs and very small flowers in natural light.  Moving air, camera shake from even what feels like a very steady position to me, and even the impact of a little ant climbing about on a very small flower on a very slender stalk is enough to shift that very shallow vocal plane, so once I've got something I'm trying to capture, I may shoot five or 50 or 100 shots in close succession.  That's a lot to sort through to find the ones where the focus is spot on, with the p

Since a few months I started having some corruption issues with my RAW files. In the begining the issue  seemed appear randomly. When viewing in Bridge the photos in my SD, a few of them would look funcky and the problem would persist when opening them in Camera RAW. When trying to open those files in my computer (macBook Pro M1), the files would keep looking funcky. So I had to delete them and I started thinking that there was soemthing wrong with my camera or SD card. After trying it with other SD cards and even buying a new one, the problem persited: Some of the images would look funcky. I started fearing that my camera was damaged (canon 6D Mark II, firmware: 1.1.1). Nevertheless, after spending several hours doing multiple tests, I am confident to say that trying to view my RAW files in Bridge before transfering them to my computer is corrupting them. Can anybody explain or offer a solution to why Bridge shows a different time stamp to Windows 11 on video files MP4 created on my Canon R6Mk2.I have never had video creating capability until I purchased my Canon R6Mk2 so this problem is new to me and unknown if this a new bug in Bridge or been there for some time.Windows 11 is showing the correct timestamp for the file created in camera, but Adobe Bridge shows the timestamp for the file created as 1 hour earlier than windows. How to disable or change the color of those blue borders around active panels and photos?I would like to have my UI without those distracting colors. In Bridge 2022 there were no borders and it was fine. In Photoshop, there is a setting to choose the highlight color and enable natural color mode. Can we have the same in Bridge please?

I'm tidying (and adding keywords to) an awful lot of images in my library at the moment. I've been trying to find out how to create a Keyboard Shortcut to appy Metadata edits once I've made them.It's so clunky having to use the mouse to find that little Apply button (tick). If anyone could tell me how to create the shortcut, I'd be very grateful.Thanks,Andy

What is this icon in Bridge called and where can I control it. I am using an older version of Bridge because I lost this Icon in the new version and cannot figure out how to get it back 

I’m experiencing a strange issue when using Batch Rename after changing settings in Camera Raw 17.3.1. The RAW image loses its connection to the XMP data file. Look at this screenshot:  If I copy the new file name and paste it again — the problem remains.If I change the sequence number at the end from “03” to “04” — the problem is solved.If I change the sequence number again from “04” back to “03” — it works fine.If I type a completely new file name, everything is OK. I reset the preferences — didn’t help. I don’t understand this issue and can’t figure it out. All of a sudden when Br is launched at Start-Up(Windows11)..before the entire screen loads, I am taken to the "Sign-In" screen for "My Account". Must login here before I see Bridge entire screen.Never had to do this..always went right to Br. I have the latest version and have a valid Pscc subscription. Is there an option that "logs member into account also available?Thanks!Dan

Hi everyone I'm trying to do a batch rename of 200+ photos. They are currently named "FirstName LastName" and I'd like to flip the order so that I can do some processes with them organized alphabetically by Last Name.  I'd imagine there's a way to do this in Bridge but I'm not sure what the best way to go about it.  Thanks, Lou

I have my columns arranged how I like in my content tabs, but when I open a new tab it reverts to the default columns. I never rate or label anything so I don't need those columns and always delete them, and I like my size all the way to the right. Which means I have to delete and move my columns around every time I open a new tab which isn't realistic for a daily workflow. This happens when I click the hamburger menu for new tab, AND when I press the plus (+) button for a new tab, AND when I right click a folder and select open in new tab. I've tried deleting my workspace and setting up a new one, but that didn't work. I've unistalled and re-installed Bridge but that hasn't worked either. No matter what the columns revert to default. Has anyone found a solution to this? Can I set the default myself? Is this a bug or a feature? I'm running a MAC Studio. 

Has anyone had success using more advanced pieces of regex to properly rename strings? I want to Capitalize the 3rd back reference in a file name, and although I believe I'm following the proper way of doing so via Replacement Text Case Conversion, Bridge is just giving me a capital U instead. Please see what I am doing below. Additionally, does anyone know what flavor regex Bridge uses? Thanks!

This is a new problem and I'm not quite sure when it started.  Certainly within the last couple of months. I haven't been able to track the exact steps when working in Bridge that cause this.  Also, sometimes I have recovered the files, but I wasn't tracking those steps either.  The worst case was recently where all the files I had open in Bridge were lost, but thankfully, I found them in TRASH so was able to recover them. I use a Mac Studio. I wish I could provide more information.  What I can say is that it has happened several times.  Most of the time, Bridge behaves normally.

Mijn laptop werkt in Windows 11 Home versie 24H2. Ik kan Bridge niet meer openen - er gebeurt niets...Bovendien (als ik via de verkenner naar mijn bestanden ga) zijn alle .psd bestanden ineens omgezet naar Adobe Photoshop Image.26 en Photoshop (versie 26.8.1) kan die ook niet meer openen.Er is enkele dagen geleden een update gebeurd van Windows, kan dit de oorzaak zijn?  Hoe kan dit opgelost worden? 

Hey everyone, So in this new post-pandemic work world many of us are working from home via VPN and logging into our work environemnts, sometimes changing which VPN to log into on different days. For my daily log-in location I have mapped the drives for ease and speed in getting to work right away each morning, and for all my InDesign links to work smoothly, linking to locations all over those drives at the remote office. The issue i am running into is the lag and freezing Bridge experiences searching for these mapped Network Drives when im NOT connected to the NAS drives over VPN. When im working elsewhere, or only on my local machine, i am (or cannot be) logged into that daily VPN location as it makes my internet get throttled at speeds dictated by the otherside's upload speed (10x's slower than my internet). The reason for not connecting to the VPN is of no importance. So is there a way to tell Bridge to temporarily not worry about a NAS drive that is not con

this happened to me before but I can't remember how I fixed it after I updated to the latest CC version on my mac 10.13.6 High Sierra.Usually, the Folders Panel shows the tree of folders and has the one I am in "open" in the panel.After the update, I am in the folder but the folder panel doesn't even show my user folder. It shows the computer folder, and guest folder but not my Matt folder.What do I do to change this?

I notice today that LR classic, Photoshop Bridge won't show any newly made folders , Anyone else seen this ?

I like to make sure all my photos have keywords assigned to them.  When I upload new phots, then I search for 'keywords' 'do not exist' and I get a ton of folders which when opened contain photos WITH keywords.  What am I doing wrong?

I'd like to see video length in Bridge metadata. Windows Explorer shows this. Why can't Bridge? All those metadata fields, and not one for clip length?
