problem brush selection

Hi guys,I m a user of ASUS zenbook 480FL 14" laptop (win 10 x64)  with 2 graphic cars (intel 620 and gforce mx250)i have photoshop CC2017 and lightroom 2015 and also adobe camera raw 12. When i open camera raw i have a massive screen blinking only when my laptop is connected to a power adaptor, when i plug off the adaptor everything is fine. Photoshop and lightroom work without problem. I searched everywhere on net and cant find a solution so mabye some of you face this kind of problem.p.s. I tried with other power adapter and same, did all the win10 instructions about flickering and same, reinstall all drivers and all combinations of driver sources and same, i did all the performance settings for graphic card in Ps and camera raw and all the same, when i disable Intel GPU and set only on Gforce blinking is less than before and very interesting when i open task bar to see the performane in photoshop with gforce GPU and put the taskbar above the Ps platform there is blinking during

I'm running CameraRAW version 11.4.1.291.  In previous versions when multiple photos were selected and the exposure setting was clicked on the slider, the displayed photo's setting was copied across to all selected photos as it is (+.12 copied to all photos for example).  Now when the slider is clicked, the value is rounded to the nearest .05 increment.   So the +.12 now changes to .10 and copies across, or +.14 would change to .15 and copy.  The temperature slider works similarly (more specific values are rounded up or down to xx50/xx00 degree values.  Clicking a slider should not change the setting's value unless it's dragged, no?  

Very often when moving a radial filter from it's center dot it will jump to the center of the image, and expand so that the elipse reaches the edges.  I have to undo and try again, I'd say it hapens more than 50% of the time, and has been happening for quite a while (many updates past, maybe for the last 6 months or more?).  I'm running camera raw 11.4.1.291

I wish to save a Camera RAW setting set using the 2010 Process (now called V2) as the Camera RAW Default. Camera RAW will not do this. For new images it reverts to V5 or (2012 depending on which version of CR) with the point curve, exposure, contrast, and black settings changed to sort of but not very well emulate the 2010 output. Is this a bug? A "feature"? New Defaults stick if the V5 Process is used and I can apply my saved setting set (which uses the 2010 Process), but I cannot save it as the Default. Any suggestions to work around this? I've tested this with Camera RAW 12 and Camera RAW 9.1.1.Thank You.David

Seems ADOBE has no support for their DNG convertor. In any case, recently added the Sony a7RIV and just tried to use DNG Convertor 12.0 to convert RAW files with no luck. Couldn't find if that camera has been added. Had a a7RIII and the 10.? version worked. Any input appreciated. Right now using Imaging Edge Edit, but would like to have the DNG Convertor working...

I can't open some files in ACR.  Can't see a pattern.  CR2  and DNG files open in ACR, but some Tiffs do not.  Reason?  Suggestions?Thanks so much!Gene

When I hit "auto" in the "basic" panel or first panel in ACR, my whites and blacks are not anywhere near to clipping and are both always require additional adjustment because of it. I don't expect perfect results everytime but it would be nice to have good results at least some of the time. Is there a way, as there is in Photoshop "curves" and "levels" for me to set custom points for "auto" in ACR?

I went to C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw and renamed the folder. I opened the PS and it was ready fast. I changed the name back and I deleted all the other brands I don't need. The camera raw was slow again. So, is something in here but not the profiles. I started my test again. I rename the C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\Index.dat The camera raw was fast again. In the end, I can tell Index.dat makes the camera raw very slow on my computer. It's been a year. Hi, I'm using ligthroom classic v 6.0 and photoshop v 20.0.7. Both are not able to read arw files from Sony a9ii. When will the update be out? Thanks

I know I can accomplish the same with the Blue/Yellow slider and the Green/Magenta slider but it sure would speed things up and simplify the process with many images if there where a Red/Cyan slider too when you only are needing to deal with Red and Cyan.   {Thread moved and renamed by moderator}

Colleagues of mine are making some changes to documents that are a few weeks old, they are still on a Camera RAW 11, but apparently today when they apply the same filter to a smart object where a few things changed (but not the overall colors), the colors are completely different to the previous version of the document. I can't show examples but for example in one document the overal look has a redish sheen to everything. This is quite urgent so any help would be appreciated. I've tried everything (saving it as a preset, applying to a regular layer not smart object, checking document color settings,..) I even tried pasting the new version of the image in the older smart object with the camera raw filter applied as a smart filter and when saving the colors change too. This is on windows btw.

I have a question about Camera Raw and porfiles lenses and cameras.I have CS6 and Camera RAW 9.1.1. I installed Camera Raw 12 today and can use camera and lens profiles that were not previously available in 9.1.1. I have Ricoh GRIII here, his Adobe Standard and Lens Correction and it's working. But will my Camera Raw 9.1.1 read profiles well? Do you need this new version?After installing Camera Raw 12, of course, the program has not changed visually (still 9.1.1), only camera profiles have been supported.Thanks

I'm an animator and I just bought a Cannon EOS M200 for myself. I shot a quick stop-motion piece as a test and now I can't access the .cr3 files. I've worked with all sorts of log footage from fancy shoots at work, but I don't think anyone has ever given me raw files from a still camera. I know I can import some of them, but clearly raw files aren't all created equal, and I'm not sure which ones are fine for AfterEffects. Lightroom does not currently support this camera. I downloaded the software from Cannon, and it will let me open the .cr3 files, but it'll only let me export to tiffs and jpgs. I can see how this software would be helpful if I wanted individual photos, but when I was playing around with the camera this moring, I shot a quick test that's 12 frames long. I can't imagine using the Cannon software for that. The camera also shoots RAW raw files, so I could switch to that setting. I would rather work on color correction and color balance in AfterEffects, where I c

Being incapable of controlling whether lens profiles are applied is a problem for a professional. I recently bought a Voightlander 65mm APO Lanthar, a truly superb lens, it has virtually zero distortion. I am using it with the techart Sony E to Nikon Z adapter. The adapter works well enough and the appearance of the image on the viewing screen and viewfinder seems normal, that is there is no distortion.However when importing either the jpg or RAW file into PS the image comes out with enormous pin cushion distortion vertically. Clearly this is a "correction" imposed by PS as there are no settings on the camera that are being enacted, and again the appearance in the viewfinders are perfect.ACR does have a profile for this lens, but selecting it or selecting NO profiles does not change the imposed distortion. Imposing a distortion control on a file has the effect of stretching and distorting pixels. That causes a loss of resolution. If I have to use a distortion control to undistort that

Hi,I have bought this camera for professional use.BUT I still cannot open the raw files with Adobe. (Batch editing, grading etc...)Does any one know what is happening and when Adobe Camera RAW will be updated?The camera came out a month ago... I need my work flow back.It looks like I am going to have to rent a A9 for my next job.... So frustrating.(yes of course I can open my Raws 1 by 1 with the Sony software or Iridient but I need Batch)Do you have an idea?

Incredibly frustrated!  - When using the Adjustment brush I am unable to make minor adjustments with the "Erase" brush. Instead, it automatically changes back to the "Add" brush.- Radial filters similarly don't work. I am unable to create a second radial filter on any image. After talking to Adobe Support for the 2nd time, I was given a "work around" that requires me to exit out of the tool and go back to the Radial Filter to create another filter. It doesn't work every time, and it seems ridiculous to me that I have to make that kind of effort. I contacted Adobe on October 30 about this issue and there is STILL no resolution!

When I use for a third time in a batch process Photoshop an action with a Supress defaults, Camera Raw add defaults in the center of my picture !!!

Everything was fine in Camera Raw 2019, but ever since I "upgraded" to cc2020 there are no lens profiles showing.  Anything? 

I really like the profile "Camera Portrait" for Sony cameras (I have an Alpha 7rII), but I'm not a fan of the color distortions it provides, which is why I would like to tweak it. I can use the HSL and calibration sliders, but they will only get me so far, and, for practical purposes, I would like to combine it all in a single custom profile. Yes, I have the HSL sliders at my disposal for this, but not the calibration sliders, and, as said above, they will only get me so far. I would like to reverse engineer this camera profile (or any of them), so I can have full control. I could do this by creating a LUT, but I would need to apply the profile to a specific comparison image, like the one attached, but this is not possible, since camera-specific profiles can only be applied to RAW photos coming from the targeted camera. Any suggestions?Thanks!

Hi! about two days ago I updated all my adobe apps incluiding Camera Raw, but far now I haven't be able to open any RAW file, not from my T6 or my 6D, however PS work perfectly, my only problem it's with C.R wich it's been updated to 12.0version. The thing is, it opens CR, without loading the image, crashes and closes PS.Anyone has this problem too??Any help will be usefull,Thanks!!

I am making photos for a client, and processing them in Camera Raw.  The client will be getting the files, and further process them according to their needs.  The client is using Creative Suite CS4. How is Camera Raw being updated in CS4?  Will the client be able to use the current Camera Raw process, or will I need to use an earlier process?  Which is the latest process that has been updated to CS4 --  2010?  2012?

I'm trying to put together a pano in camera raw and am getting merged results exceed max size.   Are there work arounds to get around this?   Trying to combine 21 RAW photos from a Nikon D850.
