Questions

Hi, I have issues with the Camera Raw window on Photoshop. I've seen 2 other posts about the problem, but the solutions aren't what I expect, they bassically say that I should change my screen settings (on the Windows configuration menu) and set to 125% the Scale and Layout section. The problem with this is that it solves the problem but it affects every other program that I use on my laptop (making everything really hard to read). Is there anyone that solved the issue in another way?

Why are the camera specific profiles for Canon no longer in Adobe Camera Raw. They are there for Nikon and others. When with this be fixed. It's making Camera Raw not useable.

I edit portraits constantly. The default aspect ratio for the crop tool in Camera Raw is "Custom".  How can I change the default aspect ratio to 8x10, not just for this image, but for all editing from here on out? As it stands I have to select 8x10 for every image I crop, and that just slows down my workflow. It would be easier to select crop and have it set to the aspect ratio I need. Thanks!

After opening the raw file in Camera Raw is it best to apply the Enhance / Super-Resolution first and then apply other edits, presets, etc, or apply the enhance at the end?

Hello ! Do you know if raw conversion under Photoshop is using CPU only or can be fastened by using GPU ?How can i get this information ?From Adobe's documentation, GPU are used for different kind of tasks : https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/acr-gpu-faq.htmlWhat impacts the raw conversion performance ? The input size ? The output format ?  Thanks in advance, best regards

I am using Canon EOS R6 camera and I need to convert RAW files to DNG files.  I have a older DNG converter dated 2019 and it will not convert RAW files from Canon R6 camera.  I tried to download a newer version that does support Canon R6, but I get an error message: Server failed to authenticate the request.  I am using MS Edge browser.  Help!

Newly updated Camera Raw 13.1 crashes and freezes the whole Mac laptop when trying to open any raw files in Photoshop. Tried it a few times after restarting. Every time the freeze happens, I can only restart my Mac by force, can't quit Photoshop or force quit. Please fix asap or revert back to the old version, it's affecting project deadlines severely! Not a good start to a super busy week before Xmas.

Am curious as to why Camera Raw opens with a black screen that is unusable for edits. Is there a work around for this? I've tried to make adjustments in preferences, but nothing works. Any help is appreciated!

According to Creative Cloud update on Mac my Photoshop (22.3) and Camera Raw (13.2) are up to date. However, when I open a raw file in Bridge or Photoshop I am told only 13.1 is opening and the newer "enhance" features are not there.I can't enforce a new update either.Anyone know how to handle this?

Hi there, why does ACR 12.3 not support my GPU (GeForce GTX 1070 TI, lastest Nvidia Studio driver), but LrC 9.3 does? Also, the seamless zooming (none Lr style) does no longer work under ACR 12.3; which might be caused by the GPU problem as well? Kind regards, Thomas

Good morning,I use OS BIG SUR on Imac Retina Camera Raw 13.1 update, the Mac freezes as soon as I try to work the photo, unable to exit CR, the Mac turns off and restarts. I encountered the same problem with Lightroom Classic and CC I have disabled the GPU, CR works but the workflow is very slow Advice? Thanks in advance

I have 80 new presets I am trying to import into Camera Raw, and I am able to do this quite easily. However, I would like to place them into 8 separate grouped sets, with 10 presets going into each set. For example, I'd like one set to be named landscapes, another named portraits, etc etc.Right now the presets are stored on my hard drive in 10 different folders with the names I want them to be listed under. If I attempt to drag and drop each of those folders into the Camera Raw settings folder, when I go to Camera Raw in Photoshop, I will find all 80 of them individually listed under "User presets." They will all work perfectly well, but now they are all screwed up out of order. If I go back to the Camera Raw settings folder, they will be seen together, there in the individual sets, I saved them into. I have tried to create empty individual sets, in other words, a set in name only with no presets at this moment associated with them. I would then attempt to have my presets saved into th

Super resolution enhanced files generated in camera raw via bridge show the correct resolution in bridge and photoshop, but show the original resolution in Lightroom and other non-Adobe applications (example from Lightroom attached-note it is an enhanced file, with enhanced file size, but reports and displays at the original 26mp)Is this a known limitation or is there an issue writing dimensions to the file that other apps like Lightroom rely on?

I want to try Super Resolution in ACR 13.2. It says I've already updated that version of ACR. But when I open a RAW file in ACR, it says I'm in 13.1 (and doesn't have the Super Resolution feature).

I'm trying to use the new Enhance feature in Camera raw but I keep getting an error saying "An unexpected error occured when loading the Enhance feature. Try updating your operating systemor graphics driver ot the latest version" I've updated in windows update and NVidia GeForce drivers but i still get the same error, everything in creative cloud is also up to date, i'm not sure what else might be wrong. Any suggestions on what to try?  Time of this report: 3/17/2021, 10:38:03Machine name: MEDIA-PCMachine Id: {1E8EB8C1-0493-4FC3-BFDE-722AF2D62329}Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19041) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)Language: English (Regional Setting: English)System Manufacturer: System manufacturerSystem Model: System Product NameBIOS: BIOS Date: 07/01/20 11:09:01 Ver: 05.00011 (type: BIOS)Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor (16 CPUs), ~4.3GHzMemory: 65536MB RAMAvailable OS Memory: 65438MB RAMPage File: 14728MB used, 116246MB avai

I went to Adobe Creative Cloud and it told me there was the update for Camera Raw 13.2 available. So I downloaded the update that was available but I can't seem to see where it saved anything to my computer. I am trying to find the file to unzip it and after scouring my whole computer there is nothing there. When I go to Adobe's website it tells me to go back to Creative Cloud to do the update. There is no installer on the Adobe site. I'm completely confused. I looked at my recent downloads and there is nothing there and the Creative Cloud shows me being up to date but the update is not showing in Photoshop.

Hi there. Just downloaded Photoshop etc and downloading my pics on the laptop.I'm used to an old version of photoshop and camera raw. Camera Raw is open right know and showing a pic. But how can I go to all downloaded pics - for some reason I can't close camera raw???Please help.

I've been trying to edit about 100 photos in camera raw for a while now. Occasionally about 20-50 photos in the app crashes and doesn't even give me a crash report. Sometimes I can edit for 5 minutes before crashing, and sometimes I can edit for 30 minutes before crashing.

I updated to the 13.2 version of ACR. I attempted to change the order of the editing panel. I was unsuccessful. I use a Macbook Pro with the Big Sur operating system. I also use the Sony A7 and cannot open my  ARW raw files just by clicking on them as I used to do.

Please give back "select rated" selection!

I just loaded Photoshop 22.3.0 and, as usual, odd things have changed. My ACR version is 13.2.0.738In ACR, the Zoom tool toggles between zoom in and zoom out with each click. Only one level of zoom can be achieved. The Crtl+ and Ctrl- shortcuts operate as expected, but the Zoom tool itself does not operate correctly. The Zoom tool does work correctly in Photoshop's normal window. The problem appears to occur only in ACR. How can I get back the Zoom tool behavior that existed in the previous versions?

Hi Everyone, We recently upgraded are memory cards to the SanDisk Extreme Pro V30 64 GB and we are having so many problems. My co-worker and I keep getting "Disk Error" or "file-format module cannot parse the file" when we try to open the .NEF files in photoshop which then should prompt camera raw to open. Then when try to eject the memory card, it makes us force quit. Our old card was a SanDisk 1.0 GB (yes, I know, that's not a lot) and it worked. I have formatted the card using my mac's disk utility with ex-fat, also I have checked on the removable volumes, documents folders and desktop folder in the security and privacy option with password entered. My co-worker has tried bridge and it worked once and then it didn't work. I have upgraded to the latest verison of each of the adobe creative suite applications. We are working on 2017 iMacs, running macOS Big Sur verison 11.2.3. The camera is a Nikon D800. There hasn't been a problem with the memory card with the camera.&
