Hi all,I have a question as I need to publish a CP 2019 module on Sharepoint online.We have found a way to make it work (basically exporting it without the Quiz functionality and not as a zip file, then by exchanging all the "hmtl" and "htm" with "aspx").The only thing that doesn´t work is the glossary widget.All slides work as usual but jumping to the glossary it shows a blank page.I can of course delete the whole glossary and simply not have that function or ideally replace it with something else.Any ideas? 

We usually have learner view our content on PC but somebody tried it on Ipad and it mostly works but towards the end when we come to the quiz slides (9 slides, no "send all" quiz) it bogs down from slide 4.After pressing "submit" on each slide it freezes for up to 20 sec before the next slide appears. CP 2019; both on Safari and Chrome on an Ipad Pro 2018. (Not a processor issue!). I did set the slide length to only 1 sec but to no avail. Thanks for any ideas you may have.

Hello,For Adobe captivate responsive project. While inserting a video inside the fluid box the video resizes on all four sides. In my project, there is a scenario where only the left and the right side of the video should resize instead of resizing on all four sides. Is that possible?If there is a file with such an example please share it would be helpful.

I am trying to install Technical Communication Suite 2019 and while I have managed to make it install and run FrameMaker, it won't install RoboHelp and Captivate properly.When I try to run these programs, I get an Invalid License Number message. And Adobe Support merely points me to paid help or the community.Does anybody know how to fix this issue?

Hi all,Our system uses various Shift + (keys), or Shift + click and also F keys. How would i use this in a simulation? I saw a post saying to just let the user press shift as it doesn't do anything, then the click on the button/box goes to the next slide. However if possible I would like to ensure the user presses Shift (or control). Is there an easy blog or video that would show me exactly how to enter this? I assume there would be a variable where it records that the Shift key was pressed? Or is it best to create a Javascript to record this? Also when using the F keys, the browser overrides the simulation. Is there a way around this?

Using Captivate 11.5/Windows, is there a script or some other option that will disable a browser's Ctrl+S function when viewing a project? The scenario is saving a document in MS Word and allowing the learner to use any method of saving the document (Save button on the QAT, File>Save/Save As, or Ctrl+S). Any help would be muchly appreciated!

Indented bulleted lists are showing as "place-holder" boxes (boxes with an "X")... Instead of the normal indented squares.For example:Above Image: Reguar bullet list with sub-points indented.  Notice the "place-holder" boxes instead of bulleted charactersHow can I resolve this issue?  Is a font missing?  Is there a "default" font I should activate for Captivate?I've tried reinstalling Captivate and activating various versions of fonts.  However, nothing seems to correct the issue.Please Advise.Thank you.-Paul

Hi Captivate legends. I am looking for a work-around to get 360 interactive images working on computers that do not display them inside Captivate (this is a realworld issue). We are running 2019 Release, 11.5.1.499 (no ability to update to later version, I believe this matches Update 3). Published projects and previews properly show the 360 slides, so WebGL in browsers is supported. However, the Captivate 360 slide appears blank (screenshot below), with just a visual visible in the Filmstrip. The process we use currently:Use the 'Add Project Background' to bring the image onto the slide as the + icon is not available.A hotspot can be added and formatted and selected for editing in the Timeline. However the hotspots appear in the 'centre' with seemingly no way to reposition them 'blindly' Has anyone discovered any technique or work-around that will allow us to blindly reposition the hotspot?  Thanks so much. Good day all 🙂 I have a question about creating an interactive video that has quiz/reporting questions throughout. In our school, teachers want to create interactive videos for flipped classroom and asynchronous review materials. Initially the teachers used Camtasia, which was fine, but you can't hide the player controls and the instructors don't want students scrubbing through the videos to answer questions. When they came to me for suggestions, I of course thought of Captivate until I realized they want the quiz questions to be a part of the learners' grades. As far as I know, though, ungraded knowledge check slides are the only types you can include as overlays in an interactive video...correct? If this is true, are there any suggestions on how to create an interactive video quiz that can report a grade? I found this post from ages ago, but it seems a bit cumbersome and as it is a few years old I wonder if there have been any developments or new ideas since.&n

I'm new to using Captivate and I was following along with one of the Adobe tutorials.  Using the Record option in Captivate 2019, I captured my screen along with system audio.  I disabled my mic and selected the option to capture system audio, however, on playback I noticed that the audio is garbled and not well synched.  Video attached. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found out how to resolve it?

When I use Video demo with the audio set to System Audio, and then play back, it starts out for the first 30 seconds to sound fine, then the audio gets distorted and chopy. Previously it was not doing this. Any ideas?

Hi,  I'd like to add clickable audio to a quiz slide but I can't seem to add any interactions.  The slide displays an image and caption, I'd like to be able to add an audio button which narrates the caption. I thought I'd cracked it when I added the audio in MPP and then created the Captivate file from MPP. However, I can't find a way to add quiz questions to existing slides.  Can anybody help with a solution? TIA P.S. I've tried adding audio to the slide but it plays automatically, which isn't suitable. 

Hi,I have some slides with text hyperlinks that are to open web pages. This is a fluidbox project. On the desktop-sized viewport clicking the links doesn't work at all, but when I shrink down to the mobile-sized (smallest viewport) those same links are suddenly clickable. Has anyone experienced this issue before? 

Hi,I am facing a weird issue.I have an eLearning module about 100+ slides and I have added text-to-speech to it.The preview from slide 1 works perfectly. I can click any slide from the ToC and the audio/video plays perfectly.When I take an output the audio plays only for the first 2 slides. If I click later slides in the ToC the audio doesn't play. Any idea why this happens?

When I open Captivate 2019 the update missing font box opens but does not display anything and I can't close it so I'm stuck and can't do anything. This happens when I open exercise files, real files, or a blank projects. I'm on Windows 11 and Captivate 2019 v11.8

Hello, hoping someone is able to help wit this issue. I'm attempting to publish a Captivate project as Video but receive an error stating "Sorry, the location you are attempting to watch this lesson from is not authorized. Notify your organization's Training Manager to address the issue" (see screenshot).  Presets are custom based on the original creators settings but even when I try a preset fro m the available drop down, I receive the same error. Originally it was publishing content to my onedrive (organization setting) but I had this updated to publish locally and same issue. I even tried it on my personal computer and same issue. 

Hello,I am new to using Captivate but I am running into issues every time I create a project for the company I work for that has branch aware activated.  I need people to be able to retake the quiz if they fail, but when branch aware is active I get and error message on the quiz results of NaN%.  Once I take off the ability to retake the quiz that goes away but then I have to manually reset the modules for each employee (60,000+) and that has become a full time job.  Any guidance would be great.

After running captivate publish output it comes with a play icon at middle. We have to click that to start output. Is it possible to load course directly? 

Hello, I need to make a "back" button after each question in the quiz that allows me to go back to the page of the question I just answered. But, I need this page to show me the right answers, make the "send" button disappear and replace it with a "next" button. Just like the "consult quizz" button, but for the last question of the quizz. Is it possible ?

Please help!  I am creating a forklift safety training module. There are 12 buttons on the first slide (see screenshot 1); however, only 11 are visible at the start of the slide.  The 12th button is a ‘continue’ button that appears only after all the content slides (slides 2 through 12) have been viewed by the learner.  I used a conditional action to hide the button (something I learned from @Lilybiri) until all conditions have been met.The Problem:The ‘continue’ button does not always appear after the content slides have been viewed.  I found that I can make it appear by going back into each content slide and viewing the slides a few seconds more before returning to the main slide—this seems to complete some condition that tells Captivate to show the ‘continue ‘ button.  Of course, I do not want learners to be faced with the challenge of trying to figure out why they can’t continue. Hi all.I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to check if an object in captivate is hidden or showing, using javascript?I know I can show/hide using cp.show(objId);But I want to check if an object is already showing or hiding. 

Hi,I have been working on a number of modules with different content in each, which have a short quiz at the end. All but one work fine and the quiz results slide correctly shows the "score" and "max score" accordingly.However, I have one module with an erroneous result being reported "0" out of "NaN" and I have no idea why this has suddenly appeared?I've been working from a template for these modules (although admittedly this one was outsourced - they should have still used the same template)I can't see any obvious difference in settings or results slide between this and the other modules - so I'm stuck!I wondered if something had gone wrong with the results slide so as a test I copied all the slides apart from the quiz slides into a separate template which has worked fine, then updated the quiz and re-published and still had the same error. I am a CC subscriber. I downloaded and installed the Captivate free trial yesterday, and on the first attempt at using it, I received a message that my trial was expired. Would my subscription to CC cause this issue? I have scoured the discussion boards and have not found any helpful information. The virtual assistant has not been helpful either. It provided a link to a post resolved by someone who already had a valid license. Hi,We are using captivate 2019. Nonresponsive project. I wrote a similiar forum a while back but didnot get a solution.We have some svg images we are using as buttons with rollover and down states.The issue we are facing is inconsistant. Some of the image buttons only have certain areas that will respond to rollover and clicking. It depends on where your mouse is on the object. Others on the same slide are behaving as expected: mouse over anywhere on the image the rollover takes over and anywhere on the image you can get a clickable area.
