Hello, I am using the following laptop:System Model   HP EliteBook 840 G6Processor            Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8665U CPU @ 1.90GHz, 2112 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)InstalledPhysicalMemory (RAM) 16.0 GBDisplay                  Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620HDD                       500GB The laptop heats up fast when using Captivate to publilsh mp4s. I've been asked to update an old Captivate Course but unfortunately, they have lost the source file and only have the zipped SCORM file. When i upload it to Scorm.Cloud I'm getting the message Adobe.com is blocked.  I've tried this on Chrome, Opera and Edge and it won't load 

Hi there, we created an e-learning course in Captivate which works quite fine on several devices. But now there is a problem on mobile apple devices with iOS 14 and Safari. As LMS we use Moodle, updated to most recent version. The issue is, that Moodle does not track the course at all. If the learner stops the course e.g. at slide eleven, then close the course and start it again from Moodle, the course alway starts from slide one. On other than apple devices and on the test platform SCORM Cloud (even with apple device), the tracking works correctly. Is there anyone with the same problem and maybe a solution? Is there anyone who can give me informations, which settings I should use in Captivate Preferences to reach a maximum of compatibility with Moodle? Thanks in advance for your support! I work in IT for a mid-size company and have a few users who have Captivate installed.The are able to see the assets in c:\users\public\public documents etc... but are unable to see them when they are in CaptivateWe have Forcepoint web proxy installed on each device.  If I stop this proxy from running then the assets appear so it is obviously this causing the issue.As the assets are stored locally I didn't think the proxy would be casuing any issue but it evidently is. However, I cannot see where Captivate redirects to when the assets are requested...I have checked the logs for a specific user and cannot see any Adobe sites being blocked.Any ideas?Thanks

Hi. Someone Knows how to fix this.. I can't close or skip this square when I start Captivate but I can use the whole interface, i dont understand why. It seems like a lightbox or some pop up. Help me please. 

I am using captivate 11.5.5.676.  I am trying to get the slide to pause at the end and make the user push the button to go to the next slide.  I had this working perfectly and now it is not and I cannot figure out why, any ideas?  I have looked through discussions and do not see anything for 2019 version.   

My project was created from a PowerPoint presentation. Over each slide, I inserted a video starting from the very FIRST FRAME. However, when going through the published training, each time I click to advance to the next slide, the underlying slide of the next slide flashes for the first frame before the video appears. It's a very quick flash, but it's very unprofessional and distracting for a user/learner. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I have multiple slides with inserted slide videos at full HD resolution (1080p). The published file size is very large, so I want to downscale these slide videos to HD (720p) or lower. Going to "Modify > Rescale project" and decreasing the size doesn't affect anything at all. Is there a way to downscale inserted slide videos direcly in Captivate?

Hello, all.I am trying to find a way to give our learners an option to restart a course once they have completed it their first time. Our LMS does not have the capability to allow multiple attempts at online courses and I'm trying to figure out a workaround in the meantime. Our goal is to allow our learners an opportunity to revisit any course they have completed if they wish to revisit information later on in their training process. Right now, when a learner is done with the course, it shows that they have completed it in the LMS (which is perfect), but when they click on the course to access it again, they are stuck on the last page and cannot start fresh at the beginning. As far as quiz answers being saved when someone restarts the course, I don't have a preference.  From what I have researched and tried, this is what I've come across.... 1. In the Project Settings I can choose to Loop Project. While I like this idea, learners shouldn't be taken back to the beginning

Up until January we published our Captivates as .exe files for our clients to review.  Now that that option has been taken away, can anyone recommend a different way to send clients a sample (interactive with quizzes usually) product to review for approval?

Can I use a bitable clip within Captivate?

We are creating a project that has fluid boxes. We need to have MP4 video in this project also. Can you insert a MP4 into a fluid box? or do you do this a different way?

Anyone else running into this issue?  Basically, when creating a new style for an object or text caption, the dialog box will attempt to open but not fully. Looks like it is shrunk, but you are unable to expand it. Won't let you close it and you are locked out of the software. Have to do a hard close via task manager to resolve which causes a loss of work Has been happening quite freqently over the last few weeks, can't seem to figure out the cause. Any help or insight would be appreciated. 

I am unable to take a complete screen shot, so hope I can explain myself clearly:When I am looking for a project to launch and work on, via Adobe Captivate I can open up a folder as below.When I place my mouse pointer over any of these I get a small pop-up wondow (cann capture this) which tells me followingType / Title / Date Modified / Size.Where does the title information come from that you see in the pop-up? The title details I am seeing are not the same as I have save the project as...and I am worried when this is published people are going to see the incorrect title.NoelStaffordshireEngland

I'm working on converting some Captivate courses I inherited, so that they'll play in HTML5. The original creator used tons of rollovers, which I'm busy replacing with click boxes. One way they used rollovers was to optionally show definitions for words that were in orange text in a block of other text, if the user needed to be reminded of the definition of that word.I have no problem replacing the rollover with a definition text box and a click box that shows that text box. However, I'd like the definition text box to disappear a few seconds after it shows, rather than persist on the page. How do I do that? I tried setting a 3-second duration on text box, but that made no difference. I just downloaded Captivate and have been trying to publish, in the guides it says to use Publish > Publish to Devices for LMS but the only option I have in the menu is Publish to Devices (App).

Dear All, I hope I can find a solution for my problem. I have a multiple choice quiz and I want the user to be able to continue when he selects the right answers (and that works) but if the user selects the wrong answers or no answers, then he/she should get a permanent feedback that they selected the wrong ones and has to choose the right one.  Thanks in advance!

I created two courses with no quiz that isn't triggering completion in the LMS.The publishing settings I was told to use are:1. AICC Other Standard LMSs2. Incomplete/Complete3. Slide Views 100% and # of slides (I tried both)4. Interaction data selected5. LMS Initialization Text: Loading6. Then find this file under your published project and change it in a note pad and zip the file again. AICCFunctions.jsFind and replace the following line of text:  JL Note: Simply remove the highlighted portion of the string.strAICCData += "[Core_Lesson]\r\n";remove the \r\n see belowstrAICCData += "[Core_Lesson]"; I also published the course without the change in script. Please help!

Media/Assets is blank .Any idea how to fix it ?

Hello,I was wondering if anyone might be  able to help me with an issue I am having.I created a simulator for a system I use at my work. I uploaded it in our LMS - Saba. When I exit out of the course, and go back in it takes me back to the slide that I left off at.  Ideally I want to simulator to start off at the main page (1st page) every time I use it.Is there a setting on my Captivate file that would allow me to do this, or does this have to do with the Saba?Thanks

I want to insert an interactive video into my captivate project however I need it to still have a play bar. Is there a way to have an interactive video with a play bar?

I have a project that shows break points for Desktop , Custom tablet, Tablet Portrait, Custom Mobile and, Mobile Portrait. I only need to design for the desktop and custom tablet. Can I delete the other break points? If so how do I do that?

we would like to set up a pool of questions for the exam maybe 40 questions but captivate randomly selects 20 questions for the exam. Can this be done? if so how can I set it up?
