Hello everyone. I have started using Captivate 12.5, but I have questions I need help with. 1. Where is the library or where to find the project's assets -like own images, sounds? 2. Is it possible to reposition images? I tried the padding option, but didn't move the images on the stage. 3. Where do I find the sound produced by text to audio? I would like to edit it with Audition, which is an Adobe app. 4. Can I import images - more than one at the same time? I'll appreciate your assistance and please point me to the right source if there are tutorials. Sincerely,German Cutz

I recently downloaded 12.5 after using Captivate Classic and am having trouble doing even the most basic of tasks. Is it really not possible to just add a text box that isn't bound to the slide in some way? I want text box on the left third of the slide with an embedded video component on the right 2/3's. In Captivate Classic i could do this in 10 seconds and I've spent an hour reading guides and watching videos for v12.5. What am I missing?  

Hi, I have a question regarding accessibility in Adobe Captivate. In the e-learning courses we develop, all content must be readable using a braille display.Currently, when linking to an external URL that opens in a new tab, we indicate this by writing something like: www.thisisexample.com (opens in new tab).However, I would like to replace the text "(opens in new tab)" with an icon, such as a "square with an arrow out of the right corner", to visually indicate to sighted users that the link opens in a new window. At the same time, I need users relying on a braille display to receive the same information, for example:www.thisisexample.com - icon: webpage opens in new tab/window.Is there a way to insert icons into text fields in Adobe Captivate while ensuring that they include appropriate alt text or accessible descriptions for braille display users?Thanks in advance!

Would like the video it to play immediately as the slide is entered, with no playbar. Hello, After publiching the quiz into SCROM 1.2 and uploading it on successfactors, when I check the results of quiz takers, the report includes Pass/Fail but I need to get the score or percentages. What am I doing wrong?

Using Captivate Classic Assessment is a chronological software assessment and the student passes when they reach the end of the assessment.It's an open book assessment with a TOC that tracks student progress as the student completes certain sections of the assessment. The TOC does not allow the student to skip to the end. If the student needs to stop the assessment and continue at another time, will Saba/Cornerstone be able to let the student pick up where they left off? Does anyone know how make this happen? Thanks in advance for any and all help!

When checking accessibility, I noticed I am unable to tab through all of the radio buttons except for the first button in the block. How do I fix this?

Hi, can someone help me set th filmstrip such that I only get ONE picture in full above the thumbnails? Now I get a series above the thumbnails, very inconvenient. 

Is it possible to customise the player and TOC players in the new Adobe Captivate? I used to be able to do it in what is now "Captivate Classic". 

I select Adobe Captivate Help under Help and I get Captivate Classic help .... Took me a few minutes to realize I wasn't losing my mind because I couldn't find the help associated with 12 😉 Very frustrating as I'm reading all about the featues I'm used to using , but not seeing it on my screen. Can someone point me to the online help for the new version? Thanks in advance! 

Hi everyone I have a problem in Captivate 2022, I can't insert an image with Text, I can't delete the text, only hide it. Does anyone knows how to do that?Another dought, could I insert Text over an image?Thanksss

Ive been having an issue when i copy and past slides from another project into another for example the assesment slides with the click box and type options and the header colours change. It falls out of line and i have to re configure and move them into position. Can anyone help?

HiI have been working with Storyline for a while now after 8 years in Captivate.This to be able to do more and better animasjons. I am using GSAP in Storyline and was thinking of trying it out in Captivate.To add it directly to the objects (as you do in storyline) did not work. Neither did adding it to the onEnter script.Would be really nice to be able to use it in Captivate so if anyone could help me out on how to get it working in Captivate Classic that would be great.BrRobert

Hello, I am having an issue with some hotspots re-positioning when I publish.  I position the hotspots correctly in Captivate, but when I publish they move quite a distance downwards. The issue seems to be limited to hotspots 4 through 6 on any slide and occurs on both previewed and published files. Two screenshots are attached.  The first shows the positioning of a hotspot (furthest right) in Captivate.  The second shows the final position when published (still furthest right, but much lower down the image).   Interestingly, the text box for the wrongly positioned hotspot still opens in the location it should have. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Graham 

We have a custom size we record software simulations in, 1728 by 1080 (for reasons). Ever since I downloaded the latest version of Classic 11.8.3.8 I am not able to record the application area at that size. It used to be the application would snap to the size but no more. The only work around is to record a custom region and manually size the app to that size which is not ideal. Is this a known bug?  Or does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance!

I'm running Captivate on a Windows 11 PC. Last night, I attempted to update to the 12.4 version, got the 184 error and restarted the PC as advised. Now, the app will not launch. I have tried clearing cache, running as administrator but nothing is working. I'm looking for all suggestions at this point. Thanks!

Hi!I'm creating training simulations and I'm having trouble getting the course to finish and show completed. I thought adding the feature of 'Exit Course' may help with that but I'm finding it just completely closes the tab instead of closing the pop up like I was hoping for. Does anyone have any input on how I can have it capture completion for just clicking through all the simulation slides? Currently once you exit, it shows incomplete and when you enter the course again it starts on the last slide. I'm in the process of teaching myself how to use this, this is my first time creating something like this so bare with me!

Hello,I have a problem with text entry boxes.I am recording a software simulation in the “Training” setting. When recording, I enter text in various places. However, these text entries are not displayed after the recording is finished. In the timeline, I only see my click actions on the slide. But no text entry fields.Version 11.8.3I have already deleted the cache, changed the settings and also recorded in a different mode. Nothing helps.Even after a reinstallation it does not work.What could be the reason. Have I possibly "broken" the software by updating Windows?Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Some of my text boxes (those without states) are not in the tab order list, and the T icon and name (EI: text_861) are gray in the reading order list.  How do I make these text boxes accessbile?  Why are they gray? Hide from screen reader is not enabled.
