Hi,I am trying to download the Captivate 9 trial for my Mac. The downloader does not start and the link "To download the files directly, click here.File 1 of 1" does not work well.Anyone gotten past this issue?- bjoern

I have been trying to install Adobe Captivate for the past two days. The installer for it keeps showing up blank when I run the setup file. The only thing that has been installed are the "readme" files and not the actual program itself. If I try to right click on the box and close it out to start over the installer window then displays text that reads, "Undefined." I've run group policy updates, I've restarted my computer and nothing has helped. I also tried emailing Adobe and have heard nothing back yet.

Hi to all….I have created a Multi State Objects View that includes 6 slides (a normal plus 5) they all work quite well….My question is: is it possible to add a link to a video in any of those slides? I can insert text but nothing else..Thanks

Hello,tI have a HTML5 course in Captivate 2019 that has two different tracks on the first slide, each track goes to a main menu with module buttons that nagivate to branching scenario slides. I have the quiz settings set to: The course is not resuming where I left off on relaunch. What could be the issue?Thanks!

Hey there,So I am trying to publish a relatively short video demo from Captivate to YouTube. I'm signed in to my YouTube account, set to public view. When I click upload after typing in a title and description, I am getting an error message (also seen in image below): "JavaScript Alert - http://localhost:4604 Unauthorized."What does this mean? Why can't I publish the video?Thanks for all of your help!

Would it be possible to control a captivate modules on a phone, using voice commands, such as "next, stop, pause..."

What is an "Unauthorized JavaScript Alert - http://localhost:3981" when one is trying to publish from Captivate 10 to YouTube in a PC environment? This has been most frustrating. If I did not receive this pop up, I received a runtime C++ error, crashing before a publish even began. Thank you in advance for any wisdom and clarity.

I have brand new very powerful iMac (40G memory, 2 TB Fusion drive). I downloaded and installed Captivate today and tried a 2-3 second test video. It is just hung there saying finalizing video. Did another test with proper video demo project but with same thing. I like the features of the app but doesn't seem to work.

Hello, i have a little prob. I setted my tebs with "Lowercase" option, now on my LMS if i type in the teb with "capslock" active the text is lowercase but it give me wrong answer, i think is that the scorm/lms recognize the test as uppercase and don't give a f about the css "text-trasform:lowercase".

I am creating a 360 VR project in Captivate 11.5.0.476 consisting of a number of 360 slides that have equirectangular pano photos as backgrounds. Each slide contains numerous hotspots that trigger various actions including jump to another slide, display text and display image. I have published the project as html5 and uploaded it to a website.I am testing the project with an Oculus Quest VR headset through its internal web browser. When the project first displays in the Oculus browser it is in a 'desktop' (non-360 window) mode, similar to viewing it in a standard web browser such as Chrome or Firefox. In this mode everything works as expected: the hotspots display text or images, or jump to the appropriate slides. The Oculus browser displays a small 'Enter VR' button that is overlayed on the viewing area. When I select the button, the view switches to full VR mode with the background pano image wrapping completely around the 360 view as expected. However, none of the hotspots work. The

Each trainee is going to have a different time due to questions, quiz etc. I also like to say that I'm more a specialist in the stuff I teach then in javascript or advanced actions.What I did: on the page where I want to display the time, I trigger an advanced action.In it, I assign the variable FinalTime with cpInfoElapsedTimeMS (it would be so nice if it had immediate formatting options as for the current date ).Now, I need this ElapsedTime to look readable, not just in seconds but as a human timing as for a video. Hello i want to convert reponsive project to non responsive ?

Any modules I publish since upgrading from CP 11.0 to CP 11.5 fail to resume.I get a JavaScript error "b is undefined" in the function getCustomSlideItemList in CPXHRLoader.js.We are using a custom LMS with xAPI. Modules published in previous versions of CP (including 11.0) work fine.Does anyone know what's going on? Did something change in 11.5 in how the JS output works with xAPI?Any help appreciated.

Hi Everyone. I am using captivate 5 and have created a 60 slide project. The project contains 8 quiz questions and is published as scorm 1.2. The project is delivered using moodle 2.02. The problem is this. When the project is first launched it loads and plays correctly. If the student exits before the quiz is complete and then comes back to it later the project resumes correctly, The problem occurs where the student exits the project after the quiz is complete. If after this point the student tries to re-launch the project later, the project launches but gets stuck at the gray loading screen. I have installed the latest hotfixes and the problem seems to occur on all browsers.Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated.regardsJ

We have just started using Captivate 2017 and we are finding an issue with the Closed Captioning.  This is happening to Cp9 courses converted to Cp 2017 as well as new courses built in Cp 2017.  In the past, the content we had in the Close Captioning field stretch across the bottom of the slide and would allow the learner to read all the content.  However, now, the content is boxed in and does not allow the learner to read all the content. I have tried going into the CC settings in the Skin Editor, but changing the X Y does not help.  Is this a known defect?  The image attached shows what we are seeing.  We cannot stretch the box out and there is no scrolling mechanism for the learner to read all the content. Appreciate any insight.Thanks.

So I have a play and a pause button set up with states and advanced actions (to toggle between play and pause). By default both buttons are at 75% opacity. On rollover it changes to 100% opacity, and on click it turns a different color (also at 100% opacity). But when I preview in HTML5 (at least in Microsoft Edge), I sporadically get a flashing white box during the state changes. The buttons used are SVGs with a transparent background. Any ideas?I also tested this in the Mac version of Captivate and previewing in Firefox. In that case I don't get the flashing white box artifact, but the button does tend to disappear for a split second when transitioning between normal and hover states.

Hello everyone. In a Captivate 2019 course I am creating, I need the user to be able to move an image object between multiple points using buttons. Is there a way to move an object smoothly from one point to another using advanced actions or java script? The reason I ask is because the motion path functionality seems to be tied to the timeline for each slide, which seems limiting. I'd like to be able to indicate, no matter where they are in the timeline, if X button is pressed, move the object from this location to that location. Is that doable? Thank you in advance!
