But I have made full efforts to write it down in a clear way so that it is easily understandable. I tried to solve this issue myself but I am was not able to solve it. Explanation Below:In my captivate project of 5 slides, on the Main slide, there is a settings button that is used to open a popup with a CC button & Hide button inside the popup. The Settings button, Popup with the CC button, and Close button will be present throughout the course. When the Settings button on the main slide is clicked, it should open the Popup in which the CC button & Close button are present, but by clicking the Settings button it will hide the Closed Captioning which is at the bottom of the slide in "GREEN COLOR". The CC button is used to show & hide the Closed Captioning which is at the bottom of the slide in "GREEN COLOR". When the CC button is

I've uninstalled Captivate, but in my 'Apps & Features' settings I have an entry labeled 'Uninstall Adobe Captivate Assets'. However, clicking this gets the message - "Specified product is not installed on this machine. Please quit the installer and start over." How can I remove this entry?

Using Captivate to create a project for school. I just downloaded the free trial and did the project. I am trying to publish it but having some issues. I have buttons in the project, so you stop at points and have to click the button to move on. I have done this because there are videos within the project that I want to make sure people can watch and rewatch before moving on. However, when I publish it to video, the buttons do not work. It just runs as a none interactive video. When I do it as an executable, the file says I don't have admin rights to run the video. So basically, I need to know how to publish this project so my buttons work and it's a file I can give to my professor.Thanks.

Hello, Good Morning,  1) In a captivate project of 10 slides, there is a scenario where there are two videos on two different slides rest are all audio slides.  2) Is there a trigger which can mute the slide audio and the audio of a video by clicking the sound on/off button? 3) If the audio is muted for one slide then all the other slide audios and the video audio will be turned off, if it is unmuted then all the slide audios including the audio of the video should also be turned on.  Thank you. 

Hello,I have a SCORM file that is 24.86 MB in size. I have almost eight videos, as well as a quiz that contains eight pools in it.The SCORM when it starts playing takes almost 60 seconds to load. I am concerned about this because my LMS developer tells me that the quiz and other captivate elements load first, while the data we design loads later. My clients say the time it takes to set up SCORM is unbearable. Please let me know if there is a solution that plays SCORM smoothly.

Hi!  I need the same video to play on separate slides. I have imported the video as a Slide Video from my computer on Slide 2. The video works correctly on that slide. On Slide 10, I need to play that video again. I'm trying to drag it onto slide 10 from my Library. When I do, I get the insert Video dialogue again with the same options chosen as when I inserted it on Slide 2. So I don't change anything and click OK, and get an error message "Video encountered an internal error". If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong or a better way to place the same slide video on two or more slides (without importing multiple copies of the video into the project and making the project huge), I'd be so grateful!  I'm using Captivate 2019, 11.5.5.553 on Windows 10.

I have created the course in Adobe Captivate 2019. I have used question pool for randamization, Everything is working fine the problem is Once user clicked the Review Quiz button i can see the correct and incorrect answers. after viewed the module and relaunching the Quiz is in Review mode, How do we reset this when relaunch, Kindly advice and help us. Thanks.

Hello:After beating my head aginst the wall with another tool, I decided I'd try Captivate for a software simulation.  I'm hoping to make a business case to purchase a license.While testing an app recording (I chose Zoom) on my MacBook (currently updating the app to 11.8.1), I was surprised to only see my desktop background overlaid by the various interaction objects once I finished the recording.  I am not running an external monitor, and I had Demo and Training selected as my recording options.Has anyone else encountered this little hiccup?

OR to have the TOC expanding and collapsing by usage of a self made buttons?

I am building a quiz slide using click boxes to allow for credit for each correct clickbox chosen. On the slide, there is a chance the person can click more than one area for the same observation. I can't use one click box to cover the entire area, I need to use multiple click boxes. Each click box is worth one point. I want them to get the credit for all the clickboxes for that area, when they click just one of them. Is this possible?

HiThe buttons I have created link perfectly and jump to slides on Friday but by today, none of the them are working.  This keeps happening and I have no idea why.I created my own shape and clicked 'use as button'.  It should then jump to a slide.That is all it needs to do.Also, Adobe is not saving correctly, Save As does not work and the 'save' button actually do anything so each time I need to save any changes I am Save As with the date and current time.I expect it is all related.My IT department have checked for Adobe Updates within the system options but there aren't any.Please help, I am loosing my mind and the eLearning needs to be finished.ThanksKat

Hi,I'm very new to Captivate. I am trying to import PPTX slides that I made into AC. The first 3 slides look fine after import, but the last 4 get corrupted. They have huge circles covering the slide and I don't know how to fix this issue.  I tried copying and then reworking the slides that import fine, but as soon as I change the content, the slide gets corrupted in the same way.  I tried changing the style of bullet points to see if that does anything, but that also did not helo.

I am using Captivate 2019.  After quiz, I am looking to send emails to a specific email ID with the results of the quiz.  How can I achieve this?From few posts, I see there is an email widget.  But in my installation, I only see 3 widgets under the widgets folder which I have in the below picture.   The requirement is to send emails to a specific email ID after every quiz is over.  Quiz will be in scorm format and uploaded to the LMS Program.  Appreciate your help.

I recently helped create a series of Captivate Courses and was able to successfully use javascript to enable and disable the Forward and Backward buttons in the Captivate supplied Playbar. For Example:$("#" + "Forward").css("pointer-events","none");$("#" + "Forward").css("pointer-events","auto");For this course we also had situations where would have liked to have the Forward button jump to a particular slide (instead of just going the next slide). And the same for the Backward button. Is there any java script code that would make this work?

I re-installed Captivate as I received a new laptop from the company. I don't know why I can't change the quiz settings although I got the tool and its resources installed following the instructions.  It'd be awesome if you could help me fix this as soon as possible. Thank you so much!

I have made a drag-and-drop interaction in adobe captivate but when I preview it on Broswer on darg the object to drop the source it becomes disappears

It does not show up on the list of addable apps.The "buy" option on the Captivate page says that I can not buy with my business account.

The SCORM contains an evaluation that has three attempts to be answered; when answering an attempt at the end it takes you to the results screen, however we noticed that if the user exits the assessment after reviewing their results upon re-entry, the SCORM opens to one of the last questions of the assessment instead of the results screen. It doesn't matter what intent it is in, if the user exits the course after completing their last intent this is repeated and even allows them to post a new answer to that question. At the end of the evaluation, the SCORM communicates the grade obtained in the LMS, but even so, when closing it and reopening it, it allows you to modify the answer and if it is correct, the score is updated. We notice that if we put 11 questions instead of the 12 we have, this does not happen. If we put more than twelve questions, it always opens at number 11 or 12. El SCORM contiene una evaluación que cuenta con tres intentos para ser respondida; cuando respondes un intento al finalizar te lleva a la pantalla de resultados, sin embargo notamos que si el usuario sale de la evaluación después de revisar sus resultados al momento de reingresar, el SCORM abre en alguna de las últimas preguntas de la evaluación en lugar de la pantalla de resultados. I have imported some video into slides and also created content slides in my project file.  I published it as a video.  During the playback, I see white screens on which the player is attempting to load the next slide with a video attached OR I see flashes at the start of a video.  I do not know how to fix it. Any ideas?

We have recently started using a new LMS called Absorb, and are experiencing intermittent issues with completions. What I mean by intermittent, is sometimes a course will automatically show the completion and sometimes the user either has to refresh their browser or select a "next" button inside the LMS to move to the next course. We have been doing extensive troubleshooting with the LMS engineers ass well as trying different options in Captivate, but the only "consistency" is that longer courses that have a lot of audio seem to be the ones that don't complete more regularly (but again, this only happens with some users). Also affecting the completions are pauses if the user walks away or does something else in the middle of the course. If they actually exit the course and come back the bookmarking works just fine. However, if there's any lag then the course will not show a completion automatically. I think there's some kind of time out that then "breaks" the commit to the LMS but
