ColdFusion v. 2023,0,0,330468The following code works fine unless I try adding bold formatting to the footer.  Then it will show "Page 2 of 1" instead of "Page 1 of 1".  Does anyone know if this is a bug or if there are limitations on the formatting in the footer?  Is there a workaround to get it bold?  I've tried using both a CSS class and inline CSS within a <span> tag, as well as using the <b></b> tag, to turn the footer bold, but each option throws the page numbering off in the resultant PDF file.<cfhtmltopdfitem type="footer" align="center" showonprint="yes" evalAtPrint="true" numberformat="numeric">        <b>Page <cfoutput>#cfhtmltopdf.currentPageNumber# of #cfhtmltopdf.totalPageCount#</cfoutput></b></cfhtmltopdfitem>

Currently, I am using CryptoJS v3.1.2 Library file which has vulnerabilty. How to mitigate this issue in Coldfusion?

My organization recently updated from CF2018 to CF2021 and I've encountered some odd behavior for which Google has been unable to provide an answer. The following line of code started throwing an error:<cfset queryName.currentRow += queryName2.numberOfLines>The error is:There is a problem in the column mappings specified in the columnMap structure.The query attribute input does not contain any column by the name of currentRow. Even a simpler test throws the same error:<cfset queryName.currentRow = '10'> I cannot figure out if this was an intentional change between CF2018 and CF2021 or a bug. I do know that it was not throwing an error in CF2018. Has anyone encountered something like this?

The uninstall for ColdFusion 2018 never completes. Tried from uninstall folder as well as from control panel .Only the CF 2018 Add on services could be uninstalled via Control Panel.The server is a clone.CF 2018 shut down. No references to CF2018 in IIS remaining.ColdFusion 2023 installed and running.  

Hi, I'm currently researching on why my company's ColdFusion application's neo-cron.xml file occasionally gets wiped out. This issue only happens to certain clients, so we're suspecting that it's an environmental issue and not something (at least not directly) caused by our application. We have recreated this issue occasionally on our internal testing/development environments, and both times it seems that the ColdFusion server is running low on resources (i.e. available memory is running low, processing is nearly reaching 100%, etc.). I have attempted to search elsewhere for possible causes for it, but had no luck. So I'm hoping the Adobe community has some insight into this problem. Thanks!

We upgraded from CF11 to CF2023 and are getting fileUploadAll parameter validation error. Here is our the code snippet:fileUploadAll(    destination="#destPath#",   onconflict="overwrite",   continueonerror = "true",   mimeType="application/pdf",   strict="true",  acceptextensions=".pdf"); This is the error in the application.log:Parameter validation error for the FILEUPLOADALL function.The Valid Parameter for function FILEUPLOADALL are [destination, mimetype, onconflict, strict, continueonerror, errorvariable] This is the function definition listed on the Adobe site:FileUploadAll(destination, accept, nameConflict, strict, continueOnError, errors, allowedExtensions) As you can see the parameter lists do not match and when I modify the code to match either list, it still throws an error. Thank you for your help. - Barb

We have a 2018 CF server that cannot be updated. There are some legacy app that do not lend themselves to that.  We would like to disable the neotranslator compiler but cannot find any documention on doing so. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I just got a new macbook, and was able to install apache via homebrew and serve webpages.I installed ColdFusion 2023 in Developer mode, connected CF to apache using the wsconnector.  It is not serving ColdFusion pages. I get the following error: Service UnavailableThe server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. I confirmed that both apache and CF are running and I can access CF via the Admistrator without issue. I've looked in to the log files, and don't see any errors.  Thank you

Hello everyone, I'm facing significant performance issues after upgrading from ColdFusion 2018 to ColdFusion 2023. It's not really a migration, as I have both servers running CF 2018 and CF 2023. I recently created CF 2023 from scratch. Specifically, I'm facing much longer processing times for a task involving CSV exports. Interestingly, the same CF 2023 setup works well on my local computer (developer setup on Windows 10) but takes too much time on the CF 2023 Enterprise server. CF 2023 (Local): the export takes 20.42 seconds. CF 2018 (DEV 01): the export takes 11.71 seconds. CF 2023 (DEV 02): The same export takes 4.9 minutes. Question? Are there specific configurations or settings in CF 2023 Enterprise that might be causing these delay?Are there known issues or patches for CF 2023 Enterprise that address performance problems?Any suggestions on additional steps I can take to troubleshoot and resolve these performance issues on the server? 

Hi,I am running Visual Code on MacOS and tried to install the ColdFusion Builder Extension. When I try to "add a server" I get the message "error running command cfml.server.create". Basically all actions result in a message ”error running command...“Tried it with Java 17 and Java 8. Environment variables are set correctly. Did anyone come across this error message and found a way to solve it?Many thanks!

I've recently upgraded a server to CF2023, which has many legacy apps that currently rely on implicit variable scoping. I've temporarily added the Dcoldfusion.searchimplicitscopes=true Java flag for the server, and was hoping to work through the individual apps and test them by overriding that in application.cfc with this.searchImplicitScopes = false.The application property does not appear to be working though. With this.searchImplicitScopes set to false, it's still searching scopes for undefined variables. If I add a new .cfm to the app, with only: <cfoutput>#testvar#</cfoutput> I get an undefined variable error as expected, unless I append ?testvar=whatever to the URL, then it pulls it from URL. Similarly, an empty page with just <cfoutput>#script_name#</cfoutput> finds the value from cgi.script_name. Does the application property not override the server Java flag? Hi, I am running my coldfusion application via docker, the application has a onServerStart() method in a file called Server.cfc which lies inside the webroot of our coldfusion project, when building the container the Server.cfc does not get triggered, although I can do it from the admin console(that works) but is there any other way to do the same. I have also tried to create an object of Server.cfc and calling from the application.cfc, but using that the control goes into the server.cfc method but does not initialize the server with the details.Thanks in advance.

I cannot figure out how to install CF2023 using the GUI instead of cfinstall.bat.CF2018 is currently installed.The product installs but the settings, specifically scheduled tasks, are not transferred to the new admin console when it is first opened as expected.

I am having trouble getting the keystore to work with ColdFusion 2021. The following connection string worked in ColdFusion 2018: EncryptionMethod=SSL;ValidateServerCertificate=true;HostNameInCertificate=SQL-SERVER;TrustStore=e:\Java\jdk-11.0.13\lib\security\cacerts;TrustStorePassword=[mypassword] When I attempted the connection, I got the error message:  An SSL socket connection could not be established because JRE 1.4 or above required I attempted to connect without requiring SSL, but got a different error which I resolved by adding AuthenticationMethod=NTLM. After resolving that, I added the above to the connection string, but got the same error.  I figured the issue was the fact that I have ColdFusion running on jdk-17.0.11.  I went ahead and created a new truststore like we did in production and imported all three of the certificates.   Same error. I ran across a post with similar problems where the recommendation was to use cacerts instead of a custom truststore.  I imported the certif
