I have a 40-page long document and when printing, 4 pages of them  are printing the tex frame. How can I rid of of this lines around the pages?thank youAndy

hi everyone,i was wondering how i can remove the alternative text in my pdf file, that appers when the mouse cursor is on the image?i installed adobe acrobat pro 9. write all the text in microsoft office word 2007, add the images, create pdf and everythings ok, but this alternative text on the image (the alternative text is file's name, for ex. photo.jpg)such a carking care.thank you in advance!!d.

I have just spent over two hours trying to solve a problem with Acrobat 8 (CS3 Master Collection).  I use this version to interact with Offic e 2007, and all of a sudden I am receiving an error that the program (Acrobat) is not activated, with instructions to activate then try again.  I have tried again with no luck.  I have unistalled both Office 2007 and Acrobat Pro CS3 (Version 😎 and reisntalled them several times to no avail.  I have now spent over two hours with Adobe Customer Support where I am speaking with someone who does not speak English very well and goes way to fast so I cannot understand what is being said.  Adding to the frustration is that after two hours I am transferred to the Technical Department (except they are closed now because it is after 5:00 PM PDT.  Now when I enter the serial number to re-activate the program, I get an error message saying that the serial number is incorrect.Needless to say I am very frustrated and based

I get pdf files each week 8-24 to 8-31, 8-10-8-17, etc.  I'd like to merge each week to theprevious week thereby having one file for the year instead of 52 (and making thereforemaking my find search easier (1 file vs 10 or 20 or 52).  Can someone help mewith this process?  Thanks.

I created some demos in Captivate and saved as a SWF file.I have a PPT presentation that I inserted the SWF movies into and they play fine when I do a PPT slideshow.However, when I publish the presentation, Presenter's player rushes over the slide (I'm assuming because there is no audio recorded in presenter for the slide since the audio is part of the movie) and the movie doesn't play. Does anyone know how to fix this?Or is there a way to make Presenter stop playing when it gets to my demo slide and allow the user to click a button that opens the demo in a new window?90% of my project is PPT slides w/Audio so I'd rather publish this in Presenter and not in Captivate.

I'm running into PowerPoint files, especially those from PowerPoint 2007, that don't properly convert to Flash for display in Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional. Other than redesigning the files (usually impractical), what can one do to minimize this problem?

I have some questions about teleconference capabilities. Can my attendees use our teleconference system if it is not one of the Adobe "approved" systems? To let our participants us our teleconference system does the Host have to use it also, or can the Host use VOIP?

  In the lower part of the meeting screen, in the Presenter's area, there is a menu bar to easily switch between the 3 modes (sharing, collaboration, discussion). Is there a way to insert pods into this timeline, or can't that be done?

I need help...I will be using adobe connect pro for an all day training next week. I am being asked to provide multiple angles of the presenter using three different Sony HDV cameras. My questions are:Is there a way to connect multiple cameras to one laptop for adobe connect pro? Can I switch from one camera to another to show a different angle?How do I get good audio? Do I connect a microphone from the trainer to the laptop?Is there a diagram somewhere that would show me how to connect all this?What type of equipment/cables would I need to pull this off?I hope someone out there can help me with this, my job depends on it.Thanks. I have the recordings locked to record every meeting.  When someone enters the meeting room, there is a message displayed by the red dot in the upper right corner that reads"This meeting is being recorded.  This recording is locked and cannot be stopped."Is there any way to turn off that notification?  It's a weird message to be displayed.  Is there a way to change it?  I wouldn't mind it if it didn't include the second sentance.  I know I can turn off the forced recordnings, but that is not what I want.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks!

I support an old Breeze Connect Training application and one of our user groups wants to use Articulate to create their content. Will Articulate work with Adobe Connect?

We are attempting a migration of data and content from 6.3 to 6.2 (for SAP EL integration) and we are seeing two issues.  About 1/3 of the meetings display a node with the message: "The template you are looking at is the one we use if the default template feature is not working", another 1/3 show a blank meeting board and have no available layouts, and the remaining 1/3 work fine.We are still trying to determine if this might be a versioning issue by examining creation/mod dates of the meetings and underlying templates but have yet to find a discernable pattern.  Note, all meetings function without issue in the 6.3 system.My next stop is hunting for DB discrepencies...Any help appreciated,Lee

Hello, We have been trying to get the Adobe Presenter content to be tracked in oracle i-learning, however am unsuccessful in getting the i-learning to track the content published through Macromedia Breeze Presenter version 5.1.269; Any help on this? Greetings, folks. Can someone help me determine how long meetings remain "on hold" once ended? I visited the URL of a meeting whose start time and duration would suggest that the meeting is ended. I had created the meeting, and did end it. Do I have to delete it for it to no longer respond as "on hold"? Is there no way to leave it in "my meetings" for historical purposes, but mark it as "ended"? In my case, if it's significant, I had created the meeting for a one on one presentation and choose not to add the participant to an invitation list and instead used the option "anyone can use the URL". Since only he would know it, and it was set to only last one hour, and I'd be in it that entire time, it seemed perfectly safe. But now if he (or somehow anyone else) tried the URL again, it seems that long after the meeting they're told it's "on hold". I don't want to have such a misunderstanding. And yes, I did visit the URL not from within my breeze meeting list but rather on another machi

I have been getting an error while trying to save recordings offline.  When the Adobe Connect add-in starts, I get the option to save and then then it crashes.  Listed below are the step I have taken to resolve the issue1. Uninstall the Add-in2. Delete all folders pertaining to the add-in (macromedia.com folder and #sharedObjects)3. Uninstalled flash.4. Run "Flash Cleaner" from Adobe5. Installed Flash then the Add-InAfter this, I still received the same error.  I have tried this about 3 times with no luck. Any help on this would be great. Below are the details that result from the crash.  This is a vista machine.  Error is not profile specific as I have created another profile and attempted to save the recording and received the error.Problem Event Name: APPCRASH  Application Name: connectaddin.exe  Application Version: 9.1.314.0  Application Timestamp: 49f76aef  Fault Module Name: connectaddin.exe  Fault Module Version: 9.1.314.0 

I have received a document via email with an electronice signature. How do I validate it? I can print the document with the signature, but when I save it as a file the signature does not save. James

Hi,What is the API call that will list the meetings of employees that are assigned to a manager?  The manager will be logged in and when I use the API call:http://[serverid]/api/xml?&action=report-my-meetings&principal-id=[##]I always get the same results which is a list of the meetings for the manager.  If put the id of the employee, I still get the managers meetings.I have looked through all of the API documentation and cannot find which call I could make to get the results that I want.  The documentation specifically says that report-my-meetings provides information about meetings that the logged in user is scheduled to attend.  So how do I get the information for the managers employees?What is needed is the Name, Duration, and Start Time of all meetings that the employee is enrolled in who is assigned to the manager that is logged in.Thanks for any help with this!

We broadcast the presenters through ustream.tv. I want to add this video stream to the presentation. Is there a way I can add a window (pod) in the layout that is basically an imbedded viewer linked to an external video stream?

We need to bring a live video stream into Connect.  WMV is the most common stream, but it comes in other flavors.  Has there been a pod developed to incorporate streaming video into Connect?

Hi All,We're looking for a way to make it so when someone leaves the Adobe Connect room, they are somehow redirected to a page where people can leave a rating for the presentation they just watched. Is there any easy way to do this? Is there a hard way to do this? Are there any hacks you can think of that could achieve similar results? Thanks much in advance!

New to Adobe forums so please excuse if this is not the correct place for this topic.  I am attempting to migrate database content from a production DB to a test DB and make it accessable by the test server.  I did successfully tranfer all table records using SSIS but overwrote some of the server specific records.  I also copied the "content" folder over to the test server as well.  I went back and manually adjusted the records to reflect the test servers configuration but the service never fully starts and begins to restart repeatedly.  I did restart the DB instance, Adobe and Flash services, and finally restarted the OS with no luck.  The following exception is being generated:         Exception occurred in startup.[05-26 08:47:56] brze (c) <status code="too-much-data"/>[05-26 08:47:56] brze (c) com.macromedia.airspeed.StatusException$TooMuchData: <status code="too-much-data"/>[05-26 08:47:56] brze (c)

Hello guys,                                          I need to convert a power point presentation into PDF. Pls tell me how to go about it.

When I try to convert a document in Word to a PDF, the screen says "converting text boxes to activate threads", then a second box says "error occurred creating threads."I used to be able to convert to PDF's with no problem.I'm using Windows XP and Photoshop CS.Any help would be MOST appreciated.  Thanks!A Griffin
