I want to upload files in to mycontent folder through our application.After each steps followed, i get the status message ok from the server, but file is not uploaded. Is there any idea about this? Please help.

Hi all: We just evaluated Breeze to see if could get it through a rather restricting firewall. We had no success. We kept getting a message on the users side that flash wasn't installed (which it was). Is this a port issue? Thanks.

We have developed some courses that include quizzes (created using Quiz Manager). However, we are finding that significant numbers of people who take the courses are failing the quizzes for reasons other than the fact they do not select the correct answers. For example, if a person reviews a quiz they have already passed using the navigation buttons, that is counted as a failed attempt. Of course, they should review the quiz in Review mode, but people will always find a way to navigate a GUI in ways that you do not expect or recommend. The status of a course with quizzes depends on the response to those quizzes, so when a person “fails” a quiz, they cannot pass the course, and get very frustrated as a result. As our quizzes are only really included for some interactivity, and the results are essentially meaningless (to us), we were wondering if there was any way to “decouple” the status of a course from the results of any quiz that may be embedded within it. I'm running Breeze 5 as a host/presenter on two computers. One is a 1.7 Ghz PC with 1 GB of RAM running the commercial release of Windows Vista with IE 7.0. This PC is running the Aero interface with a descent video card with 256MB of RAM. PC two is a 1.1 Ghz notebook with 512 MB of RAM running XP SP2 with IE 7.0. The PC running Vista is running all applications fine with good performance except when I start a meeting with Breeze. When I start the meeting my CPU utilization of Breeze shoots above 60% of the CPU (in Task Manager) and remains there when everything is idle. When I try to use my microphone to speak, CPU goes to 100% and the audio is choppy. No other applications including virus software are running on this machine at the time. I start the session after a clean reboot. The notebook running XP doing the same thing has good performance with CPU in the low 20% range. Using the same microphone I have no audio issues. This is with Norton Internet Security and other application

I need to write a simple webpage using javascript that can be used by our support group to assign all our users to "Meeting Hosts". In the hopes that I won't have to figure out everything from scratch, I wanted to see if anyone had any examples that might be of use. I have already created a html page using javascript that displays all our meeting rooms and their access setting, so I have some limited experience using the webservices and javascript. What I am looking for is code that demonstrates how to do any of the following: - log a "hard coded" user into Connect - retrieve the breezecookie information that is needed for other webservice calls - loop over all user accounts - set a user to "Meeting Host" Any code samples will be appreciated.

I need to create a webpage that deletes a user and the meeting folder and content associated to that user. If I have the principal-id of the user to be deleted, how do I find the sco-id for the user's meeting folder? So far, I haven't found an api call that seems to offer that connection. - Thanks

Is it just me, or is it impossible to get past Page 1 in this Forum? In "My Forums" list I can see messages I posted over a year ago, but the front page of, for example General Discussion, only has page 1 and no method to get beyond, yet the front of the Connect Professional Forums says there is 924 Topics!

I would like to use the presenter only area, however, when I screen share, clients see the entire area (q and a )etal. How do I fix this? Also, When in in the presenter area mode, I only want the client to see the Share pod. If I select full screen, my screen also goes full and if I just share, then once again the client sees my pods also. HELP PLEASE!

Hi everyone! Has anyone had audio issues with the Breeze quiz facility? I am developing a quiz whereby feedback is given orally after a question is answered. The audio files sound fine until they are published either as a 'Breeze test publish' on the computer or on the online server. It seems to me that the files are being compressed by Breeze and this has lessened quality drastically. The best result so far has occured after exporting the sound as mono before introducing it to Breeze. I have also been trying various bitrates, sample rates etc. The hope was to compress the sound enough so that Breeze would not also compress it but, instead, it just seems to take it even further! Does anyone know how to get decent sound results out of Breeze? Any help is greatly appreciated, with thanks........

Using the API how can I determine the actual text answers to the poll questions. Doing report-quiz-interactions gives you the question and the number of the answer that the user chose but how do I determine what that number represents?

hi, We have our own breeze server situated off site. Everything else within breeze works fine, setting up users, adding online quizzes etc, but it is not currently letting us enter a meeting room, it just takes ages trying to connect then brings up an error message. Ive been through the troubleshooters and all my settings are fine. any ideas?

Creating a Breeze 5 presentation I am inserting a Flash file that is starting a page early. In a isolated test file with each page set to user advance the FLASH is on page 2, However, the FLASH file audio starts on page 1 and when we click to page 2 the FLASH files appears for a moment then disappears. I am using Breeze Presenter version 5.1269 build 269. Charles

hi, A company which is looking to use our breeze server has asked me what format to put their videos in to use with breeze. I am not sure if it is either for streaming/download or to be remotely played through a desktop view so if possible could someone provide answers for all? I was primarily thinking swf format or failing that in a wmv? can anyone shed any light? Thanks for your help 🙂

I am facing an audio issue when using Captiavete swf inserted into a Breeze module. There are two options for controlling the behaviour of the embedded captivate that can be set in Presenttion Settings / Flash. If you leave this option unchecked then while the slide before the captivate is playing, breeze preloads the next slide, and you hear about 0.5 second of the captivate audio. There was a tech note recommending to check this box so that the captivate module is controlled by the breeze play controls, but what now happens is that breeze stras teh slide - the captivate module starts to play, but then breeze ends the timeline after 5 seconds, and the captivate stops playing. Is there a way to increase the playing time for a particular breeze slide ? thanks in advance

Has anyone installed Adobe Connect Enterprise 6 on a 64-bit OS yet? It's supposed to work according to www.adobe.com/go/90c5c948. However, after selecting the install language a dialog appears: "You must have at least 512 MB of physical memory to install Adobe Connect. This machine has only 0 MB of memory. Setup will now abort." This is on a freshly installed Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 Edition box. Help?

I have installed Breeze v. 5 in my computer. I am able to enter, invite people to join me, and share the whiteboard. Before sharing slides or the desktop, Breeze asks if one wishes to download the Macromedia Flashplayer ADD-IN. Everytime I say yes, then I obtain an error message, "Macromedia Breeze Meeting Addin 7.0 r55 has encountered a problem and needs to close." A second window appears, with a blank Macromedia Flashplyer 7 box. Here are some of the steps I have already taken, but have failed. 1. Try and lower the Internet Explorer safety settings to medium. 2. Try Firefox instead of Internet Explorer 7 3. Remove the Breeze program and start again 4. Remove Flash player and download the new one (9.x and now 10.x) 5. Install it in a different computer in my office (it works fine, using the same internet connection) 6. Close my anti-virus program. Here's a bit of free market research: Everyone in our office still calls the product Breeze and calls a conference using it 'a Breeze.' As in, "I have no idea what you're talking about, let's jump on a Breeze" or "You clearly need me to walk you through this, I'm going to set up a Breeze." Nobody has said, "Wouldn't this be simpler if we started an Adobe Acrobat Connect?" Just thought you should know.

Hi : I'm working with trail version of Macromedia Breeze Presenter and in trying to attach a video (swf) in slide (Talking head video) - I keep on getting message "Presenter failed to create the folder ....., please check your file and folder permissions and try again". The permissions are just fine. Any ideas on this ? I'm trying to prepare a prototype presentation to see if we can use this product. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
