Hello professionals,I have been getting a lot of complaints from users watching my training materials on the adobe connect system. We have been using connect to share video training and quizzes in PowerPoint. The problems seem to be with the video portions of the training. the users claim that the videos will either not play at all, play a little before freezing, or be cut short and interrupted by the quizzes. They all say that they are at computers with good connection speed. The most recent incident had a 14mbps download speed and yet could not view a presentation that contained a 720p video.The videos are externally produced as .mp4's before being added into the PowerPoint presentations via Adobe Presenter. We have tried this method of delivery for videos of 1080p quality all the way down to 480i, and the results seem to be the same. Most people seem to be able to watch without issue, but too many are not able to complete the training.Of course, everything seems to work just fine he
I know I am using my correct adobe login and password. So why the error? Is this password some how different than the password for the Adobe Ed Exchange? I could just reset.. But I dont want to. So far, I have attended two live events as Guest. I probably dont get credit for being there...
Hi,We have a strange problem with one of our meetings, yesterday (october 09) an attendee of a meeting held on september 27 sent his invite message back to all the other attendees of that meeting, we don't know how this attendee got the e-mails of all the other attendees, the field "To" on his message had the e-mail adress of all the other anttendees. Does anyone have any idea what might have happened?Thanks.
How do I change to a transparent background when needed for subsequent computer applications such as Laser Printing? THNX!!!
Our issue is occurring when for example, a learner is not able to finish a course (created in Presenter) and exits out. We then republish a new version of the training (e.g., update needed, mistake, typo, etc.), then the next day when the learner returns to finish their training, they are forced to start from the beginning. As long as we don't publish a new version they are taken to where they left off. However, we are always needing to republish new versions, which is forcing a significant number of learners to have to restart the entire training. We use Adobe Connect as our LMS. Is there a way to fix this?
Hi, we are using a Webinar 100 Adobe Connect Licence and the Adobe Event module. We are having the following issue.- Seminar Room ia availlable and well structured- Using Event Module to schedule an event (works fine)- Going back to Seminar room to open an seminar session (for a better overview, for the same scheduled time)- Seminar session scheduling failed (conflict with planned event from Event Module)Question:Does an event, planned with the Adobe Event Module, having the same rights like a seminar session (planned as a scheduled seminar event inside the seminar room).I am not sure, that the Adobe Event Module is taking the same options like the standard seminar session planner.Hopefully there is an expert, who can help me solving this issue. I have uploaded a Captivate Memory Game Widget SWF file to Adobe Connect V9. I would like to load the file so that the Producer has full control over the SWF file instead of each individual participant. Any idea why the SWF file isn't allowing me to sync?
I have a very long complex Connect password.If I am joining a Connect room using the mobile app, I think I have to cut and paste the meeting room URL.Then the next page takes me to my username/password. If I need to go to another app and then copy my password (using a password management app) and then go back to Connect, it will have erased by room URL, and make me start over again. So I always have to remember and type in either my meeting room URL or my password. Is there a way around this to copy and paste between other apps and Connect Mobile?
When I join a connect room, the Connect client opens on my machine, and takes over the full window. Is there a way to tell it to only use 1/4 of the window, for example? (or to save the last size I adjusted the window too)?Something like Microsoft Excel for example...when I open that, it doesn't take over the full screen.Thanks-
The preferences to run Safari appear to be different that what is provided within the Connect supplied materials. Any chance someone has a workaround?
When I act as the presenter in Adobe Connect and multiple students join my class, my webcam suddenly zooms in on my face. This actually happens on any Adobe Connect session whether I am presenter or joiner, and it only happens once others start to join. I am using Windows 10, with a built-in webcam on a Dell Inspiron 5368 (5000 series brand new) and usually use Google Chrome as my browser. It doesn't happen with any other webcam applications (I've used Google Hangouts, Skype, and other software that requires the webcam and allows others to join). This seriously affects my ability to teach using this software, and the course coordinator who decides what software to use is aware of this issue as well (I believe others are seeing this problem as well according to our IT support). Can someone please look at this???
After accedentally instaling this add-in I'd like to remove it. Where is the Adobe Connect Add-In located on a Mac running Lion, or is there a way to properly uninstall it. Thanks!- FanncyPantsMan
I'm taking a German course through the Goethe Institute, and they use Adobe Connect for live sessions. I'm using a Microsoft Surface Pro 3, running Windows 10. When I'm in Connect, I get the little green window up in the upper left corner for the speakers, but not for my microphone. When I go through the audio setup within Connect, I can choose either the Surface microphone array, or my Logitech USB headset microphone, and it works fine with the tests. However, after successfully going through the Connect audio tests, the microphone still doesn't show up in the program. I've tried logging out and logging back in, with no change. I've tried restarting the computer, with no change. I can go into the Sound settings in Windows and choose either microphone and either the headset speakers or the computer speakers, and all work fine in Skype and the Windows recorder. I just can't seem to get a microphone to work in Connect! Any sugge

I would like to know whether Adobe Connect is supported within Microsoft Remote Desktop Services?
Are there plans for the Adobe Connect mobile app to support viewing of meeting recordings? Currently, the only option for making meeting recordings available to mobile users is to manually convert each recording to MP4. The current workflow is time consuming and does not scale when the number of meetings increases. If the client is able to play the recording natively in the same way the desktop client is able to, this solves the need for conversion altogether and provides the ideal experience for the Adobe Connect customer and end users.
The current functionality for converting meeting recordings into MP4 video for playback on mobile is quite limited. It works fine for a couple of videos but does not scale to the need of providing mobile users with the ability to watch recordings of meetings that take place several times a week. The current process ties up a computer for the duration of the original meeting length and there is no way to automate it. This is particularly painful if you want the converted MP4 hosted by Adobe where you have to upload it back to the server.I haven't seen any discussion so I'd like to make the proposal that this process be updated to run on the server. I'd like to be able to select a "Make MP4 video recording" setting for a meeting where it will produce not just the usual meeting recording file but also an MP4 version alongside. This way, I can provide that URL to my mobile users since the mobile client does not support the playback of meeting recordings.How feasible is the above proposal?

After the latest maintenance routine of adobe connect on 22-Aug-2016(IST) we are unable to upload any swf file in zip format,if we try to do so it is throwing the above mentioned error ,we are trying to upload a .swf file along with the index.swf file zipped together Any heads up will be helpfulThanks
Is there a way to turn off the receiver video feed in Adobe Connect? I want to save battery life and I don't need to see my professor's head for the entire lecture.

When recording a meeting is there a way to record the audio that comes out of a computer's speakers? For example, if I wanted to play/share a YouTube video, is there a way to record the audio that goes with that video? It seems like all that gets recorded is what goes into the microphone so I know that one option would be to turn up the computer's audio and record that into the microphone but the quality isn't really good (we've used that option before). I'm wondering if there's a better way.
