Can't transfer ebooks on to my Sony PRS-350

Can't transfer ebooks on to my Sony PRS-350.  I've tried connecting the reader with the ADE already open; I've tried connecting the reader first then opening ADE; I've tried rebooting the computer.  Windows Explorer recognizes the reader as connected. Don't know what else to try.

    I've noticed that a lot of people are having this problem, myself included.. And so far, there hasn't been a response by Adobe. Hopefully they'll fix this mess soon. I can't use Sony Reader, Kobo Desktop, or ADE to put books onto my eReader, so I'm kind of screwed until they fix it.
