I'm unable to authorize my computer.I'm running in Windows 7, working in 4.5.12 Adobe Digital Editions.Trying to authorize, appears this message Could you hep me?Tks in advance.

Hello,I can authorize devices - such as this computer or my Kobo reader - with ADE. But, when I go to the Adobe web site and use the email address associated with ADE, the site login tells me "account not found." How can that be? I've been using that email address for close to 20 years, and my Adobe account is/was probably nearly as old. I guess that because I only ever used it for ADE or other authorization purposes, Adobe purged it at some point as an inactive account. Still, isn't it odd that it works for that purpose but is otherwise invisible? I just authorized two readers tonight, so I know it works. But ... what? I'm afraid to create a new Adobe ID account online with that email for fear of borking the existing authorizations. Thanks for any insight. mp

Hola,hace un par de años utilicé Adobe Digital Editions con una dirección de correo de la universidad, porque era quien nos facilitaba el documento a través de esta app. Esta dirección está dada de baja de Adobe y no puedo desvincularla de Adobe Digital Editions porque no existe.Si desintalo ADE y lo vuelvo instalar me sigue saliendo vinculada.Gracias,Eva

Attempting to authorize Digital Editions on PC and/or iOS.  Keep getting "Username or password is incorrect".  My login works fine when I go to adobe.com.  Reset the password twice and tested login each time with no problems.  My username matches "Primary email (Adobe ID)" from my Adobe Account profile screen though I've tried the secondary email and Screen Name as well to no avail.  Absolutely no idea what to do here.   Thoughts?

My ebooks do not show all the content in digital editions, I am missing text at random point in my document while other epub programs show all the content correctly.  Was instructed by support to only use the community forms for this error.  Any advise would be great.  Using window 10 pro.  downloaded the latest addition of Digital Editions.

I am unable to log out of an old ADE account because the email address associated with it is defunct.  When I created a new ADE account using my current Adobe log in, it still wants to use the old email address.  Apparently, my version is from 2007 and the Help Center says they don't support that version any more.  So that means I can never use Borrow Box to get books from my library onto my e-reader.  What have others done in a similar situation?

Hello. My company recently launched eBooks with DRM on our ecommerce site. Customers download and install Adobe Digital Editions in order to fulfill the .acsm files that are generated (we are a Magento site that uses a plugin called Edition Guard). We had a customer today that tried to both sign in to her account as well as create a new adobe account, and each time was given the error message {"error":"invalid_scope"}. I just tested and got the same error. I have seen this before when we were implementing all of this and it just sort of seemed to resolve itself at some point. Really I'd just like to get some understanding as to what is going on and what we can convey to our customers in case this happens. Here is where we are directing customers to log in or create an adobe id in order to authorize their computer using ADE .

El lunes instalé Adobe Digital Editions y lo enlacé con el e-Reader, y me daba problemas porque no me permitía copiar en él el e-book que había comprado. Terminé por rendirme.Hoy estoy intentándolo de nuevo y cuál es mi sorpresa cuando al conectar el dispositivo la ordenador Adobe Digital Editions no me lo reconoce, no aparece por ningún lado. He cambiado de ordenador, empezando de nuevo todo el proceso y sigo con el mismo problema.El e-Reader no puede manipularse cuando está conectado la ordenador, así que respuestas anteriores que he ido leyendo por aquí no me sirven.¿Alguién qué pueda ayudarme?  

How do you change the default folder in Digital Editions? 

Ich bekomme in Adobe Dgital Editions folgenden Fehlercode: Download nicht möglich Fehler beim Abrufen der Lizenz. Lizenzserver-Kommunikationsfehler: E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED. Online habe ich gelesen, dass die Lösung sein könnte, die bei Adobe hinterlegten Autorisierungen zurücksetzen. Wer kann das machen? Ich nutze die Version 4.5.11.187212

I bought an ebook a few days ago. Unfortunately, I opened it with a computer on which I don't think I authorised Adobe digital editions. Now the ebook can no longer be opened with my e-reader. Is there any way I can find out which account the ebook is authorised with? or can I bypass this somehow?Otherwise I bought the ebook for free and can't read it.Thanks for your help

Hi,I'm using the same Adobe account in my phone and my tablet (both Android). In my phone everything works fine. I'm importing books without any problem. On the other hand in my tablet, after some months of normal operation, Adobe Digital Editions, is not able to handle ebooks (acsm hyperlinks). When I select to import an acsm file I receive an message saying "Please wait while importing content..." and the book is never imported (even after hours!). I have uninstalled/reinstalled ADE and I have deactivated/activated my Adobe account, without success. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?dcD

I get this error: "Activation Server error - code E_ ADEPT_SIGNIN_CONNECTION_EXCEPTION" when I try to activate with my google accountPlease help, so I can activate AED 

I've seen this topic already several times, without any solution. ADE works fine, but when I connect my Kobo it crashes. Already reinstalled ADE, and deleted and renamed my Digital Editions folder, but no solution. Any ideas?

it appears that one cannot use the Apple Pencil with ADE. The program has very few settings that can be adjusted for personal preference.  for someone who is used to the flexibiliy of pdf and being able to make annotations it is very surprising to me. Am I missing somethin?  Is there a legal way to move the file to iBooks?

Hello,I just installed ADE on PC windows 10 and add 2 new ebooks (just purchased) in it. Trying to read them in ADE, the book pages they are too big to show complete page and pages overlapped each others. I transfert the book to my ereader Vivlio, ther the pages are complete but a bit small for confortable reading. On both the page counter tells 1/2 as it was only 2 pages but I can get to next pages ( more than 20 pages).How can I fix this? See printscreenkind regards Thierry

Hi, I'm having a typical problem with a twist, and wondering if someone can help.I'm trying to authorize my Mac with Overdrive. I installed ADE 4.5 successfully (even though my Mac OS is old - El Capitan), but when I try to authorize my computer, I get the typical error message "Incorrect login ID or password for the selected eBook vendor. Please try again".I use Libby on my Android phone, but my Libby login info didn't work, so I tried my Gmail login, and that didn't work. Is this supposed to be my Adobe ID and password? I thought it was supposed to be the same password I use to get books, which is my Overdrive / Libby information. I also thought that special characters don't work, so what do you do about the @ in an email address?[Not sure this is related, but I tried to copy my Libby settings from my phone to my Mac (In Libby, the "copy to another device" option), but when I tried to enter the 8 digit code onto my Mac, it didn't work, even though I typed the number correctly mu

My Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) software is authorized to oldemail@domain.com.  Over the years, I have purchased many DRM ebooks (both DRM PDF and EPUB) from various vendors.  After purchasing, the vendor provides me with an .acsm file ("Adobe Content Server Message" file).  When I open the .acsm file, ADE downloads the ebook (PDF or EPUB) and places it in ADE for me to read.   In ADE, if I right-click on the ebook and select "Item Info," it says:   Permissions Licensed To: oldemail@domain.com urn:uuid:########-####-####-####-############   where # is a number 0-9 or a letter a-f.   Clearly, the ebook is licensed to oldemail@domain.com, which is my Adobe ID and the email address to which ADE is authorized.   But now, I need to change my email address, from oldemail@domain.com to newemail@domain.com.   I know that I can change the email address I use for my Adobe ID by following the instructions here.  I also know, from the discussion he

On my old device I had ADE autorized tot 2 ID's. On my new device I installes ADE again but now I can only autorize one ID. The manual sys you can deautorize again, but I don't see the option in the menu help. How can I connect ADE tot 2 ID's again?

Hi, I have installed ADE v3 with Firefox. I have authorized my computer and my e-reader. When I try to load books, I get "Error! Check Activation." Anyone else have same problem?   Thanks.

I bought a book on Apple Books and want to read it on my e-book reader. My e-book reader is an Adlibris Letto Frontlight and requires ADE for book transfers that aren't bought directly in the company's own e-book store. For some reason, I only get error messages when I try to drag & drop and if I try to "add new file" the epub-file is greyed out, so it might have to do with copyright or something? What do I need to do in order to be able to transfer this book to ADE? See attached screenshots.
