Is it possible that download of ADE 4.5 did not download properly?

cannot select ADE 4.5 for new drm ebooks. When attempting to side load books, option selection is "C:\programfiles (X86)Adobe\AdobeDigitalEditions\digitaleditions"11%.  Not able to select the option for download. When trying to add to ADE, receiving message error! check activation. I checked the activation. Program is activated. I can open older DRM ebooks that was on older program. When I tried to make ADE default software, not coming up as option. Is my only option to delete program and try again?
