Hi All just tryed to use Dimension for the first time...playing around with it to se how it worksI came accross a problem. I made a 3d model of a giftbox saved as OBJ and imported to dimensionIn dimension everything works fine untill I apply a logo to the box...it gets tiled...like 100 logos in line in sted of just one image...what do I do wrong?If I thake a model that is stock in Dimension the logo is applyed just fine

I just updated to the newest version and downloaded a bunch of new library elements. Now my canvas shows nothing but gray. No grid or horizon. Nothing.   Please help...

Hello I followed this tutorial to create a bottle as an OBJ in Photoshop:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DENba18HvlUIt works well except when I try to apply a decal it appears to be inside out. Attached is a screenshot of my PS and the dimensions rendering.

Dear all, I had a problem where it was not possible to open dimension files. Whenever I tried to open dimension files, an error message was displayed and I was asked to contact dimension support. I did so on 3.12.2019, and there is still no answer, even though I remembered. Today I also chatted with the Adobe support; also the support was not able to help me with the problem. It was even pointed out that Dimension is not served via the support chat. So I started looking for a solution myself and found out the following:For decentralized work I use Boxcryptor, which encrypts files individually and only then uploads them to my OwnCloud. For decryption, the Boxcryptor program integrates the files as a virtual drive on my Windows PC. Dimension is obviously not able to open the files from the virtual drive. If I copy the files to the desktop before, I can work in the files. I just have to copy the files back into the virtual drive again and again.Maybe the one or th

Hey!I have exactly the same problem as adma15586 but in don't understand your solution. the tuto video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ad2HCjgW-PY) looks pretty clear about how to make a bottle but it's doesn't work for me. I always have a double image when i import one. I tryed whit simple form, but it's the same.Do i don't make something one photoshop ? please need help i passed two days one this. become crazy 😕😕

Hi everyone. I'm new to dimension but am well versed in Photoshop and Illustrator. I'm looking to create some curtain 3d objects for Dimension. I'd like to be able to create my own so I can control/customize the look. is there a video or some other helpful tutorial that will help me get started?  Thanks!

When I open a large 3D old model, It gives me an error report. The log-file is attached. What can I do?

We have Adobe Dimension installed on our classroom lab computers. When the students or I try to use it when we log in with our Adobe ID, we get a licensing error and the program closes. Is there something that we need to do at our University to make this program available. I am able to use Dimension on my laptop with my Adobe ID, just not the computers in our lab. Thank you.

Creating some AR collages which I've had success with by importing PNG's direct to Aero. However I'd like to build these collages in Dimension (It's a pain to build them in Aero). Is there a trick / work around to export what would be a transparent PNG file, for example a still image that appears to be cut out, as a 3D file?  Basically I want to assemble 3D collages from flat elements that appear cut out. I don't want to apply jpegs to pre-exisiting models which are resticted to siomple shapes. I've messed around and there's some shaky workarounds that result in massive OBJ files when exported frpom Photoshop, so hoping there's a logical way to do it.

Hi there, first of all: I am an absolute newcomer to Dimension and to 3D in general. Is it possible to import a complete assembly (a product that consists out of several customizable parts) in one file to Adobe Dimension? At the moment I have to import every single part of that assembly by its own to have the opportunity to customize them. That takes a lot of time... We also tried to export a .STL-file with all parts in one file out of SolidWorks, but after importing it to Dimension it's been reduced to one part and so I am not able to customize each part of the product. I would be glad about every kind of hint or tip... 😉

Hi JMathews, I'm trying to figure out a way to wrap labels in a similar way on a cylinder. I have the same issue when applying it as a decal the image stops wrapping around the cylinder. I tried adding the image as a base material, but the controls I have with offset and repeat are very limited and I can't manually adjust the label to fit the cylinder and the image is distorted to be too tall. Are there plans to make the decal function continue to wrap around a surface and any ideas how I can accomplish this?

Hello, new Dimension user here — I have placed and fitted a decal to the Food Pouch model, but I am finding that there are a few djagged distortions along the top and upper-right edges of the package. They are also a different color red than the background of the artwork/decal itself. Quite frankly, I'm not sure how to correct this and have tried everything I can think of (at this time). I would greatly apprecaite any help anyone can offer 🙂 I attached a screenshot for reference. [image added ussnorway]

Hello,I tried to solve the problem by myself....but after days and nights i need help. !When I import my file (.obj) made in "Fusion 360" and apply a basic texture (like Black Marble) (.SBSAR) to it. This is always applied on the wrong scale! in the "Reproduce: x: 1 and X1" section. it is possible to put x: 0.1 and Y: 0.1, but the scale is always wrong. You should be able to enter a number like "0.001". But the rounding always sets this value to 0. So, the material is always to small or to big. Do you have any solutions for this?By the way, is there any solution to import .sbsar ou .mtl ( for exemple file from "Substance Design" or other ) directly into Dimension, whithout Adobe Stock? Thank you in advance for your precious help.

My document settings are missing in Dimension. They do not show in Properties or under the File menu when a file is open, making a new file, with anything or nothing selected. The options that come up under File are:NewOpenOpen RecentSaveSave AsImport Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Please help. I'm creating a 3d bottle model in photoshop CC 3D and exporting it as an obj file and then importing to Dimension.The issue that I am having is that instead of the model being one continuous piece of material the object seems to be split so that when I apply the label design or any object it either reflects or disappears/spilt's the design. How do I merge it to create one continuous material with no spilt. Thanks so much 

Hi all,I am very new to Adobe Dimension and need some help. I am trying to create a rendering of a brshed metal business card. I apply the brushed metal affect to the object and it looks present in the design window. Once I render the card the brushed affect goes away and it looks washed out. Is this an issue with lighting settings? Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.  

I installed Dimensions and watched the Adobe tutorial and worked with it for about an hour. Nothing I made looks good. I want an alumnium can decorated with my label but no matter what lighting I use, I get basically a black or dark colored metallic surface. Does not look anything like an alumnium can. I watched this other tutorial and it's no help:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bM-3PydkMBgNothing this guy creates looks very good either but he seems pleased when clicking something produces a result. I have higher hopes. I did notice the "aluminum" surface material he uses though. Evidently, that material is not included in the basic set. Olive Oil and Gelatin are, but not aluminum. Really? So I purchased aluminum for $10 at Adobe Stock, but I'm not getting any better results. Nothing that looks remotely like an alumnium can anyway.  The application doesn't seem that difficult. Just not very good. Is that about right? If anyone monitors this forum,

For the past couple months I've been having issues with Dimensions cloud rendering system in which it produces nothing but blank images. I've been able to leave posting about it for a while as I attempted one email request but the issues are becoming more and more prevalent. As a beta tester user of Dimension (pre-release builds) I've done everything to ensure I update to new, old, and live builds to locate my issue to no such luck. Basically the system takes my credits for however many renders I require (the most recent instance was 9 for 3 render angles) and it produces nothing but blank white images in my Creative Cloud folders - as you'll see from the screenshot, this is now a regular occurance. I'm not 100% sure what the issue is, would love to figure it out or have some help if anyone has tackled this problem already. Also if there's anyway for our credits to be reinbursed on the system via our dead renders (even if it's just the most recent 9 so I can finish my pa
