Hi guys,

I am DESPERATELY trying to install Fuse CC ......

1 - A few days ago I managed to get the Fuse CC offline installer from this site : Adobe CC 2015 Direct Download Links: Creative Cloud 2015 Release | ProDesignTools

I lauched the install after adding the missing folders and setup.exe file from another Adobe product I have and in the begining of the install it gave me an error 35 message....

2 - I decided to go with Creative Cloud .... and the download of Fuse fails at 42%

Why on earth is Adobe making things so difficult just to install a software....????

Hi,

It did not help .... I have already tried these tutorial several times and none of them work.....

I solved the problem by myself..... Here is what I did :

1- I downloaded the offline installer from the link given in my previous message

2- I unzipped it and put the PAYLOADS folder in a FUSE folder on my desktop.

3- I took ownership of the FUSE folder (see tutorial here if you dont know how to do : Take Ownership of a File or Folder )

4- I also gave full permissions to USERS and ADMINISTRATORS (see tutorial here How to Change File Permissions on Windows 7 (with Pictures) )

5- I copied missing folders (deployment , packages , resources) and set-up.exe from another Adobe program installation folder (such as Photoshop) to the FUSE folder.
As a result, my FUSE folder had the following structure :

Deployment folder

Packages folder

Payloads folder

Resources folder

set-up.exe file

6- I created a folder Adobe Fuse CC in C:\ProgramFiles\Adobe

7- I took ownership of the entire C:\ProgramFiles\Adobe folder (just to make sure) ...actually I did step 3 and 4 on the entire Adobe folder.
8- I then installed Fuse by launching the set-up.exe file from the FUSE folder.... and when the installation asked me where to install the program , I selected the Adobe Fuse CC folder created at step 6.

And it worked....

Hi Lonies19847561,

To resolve the issue where Creative Cloud installations fail or hang at 42%, please refer to the following help document: "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.

Let us know if this helps.
