Hello,

I know Adobe can be a bit of a stickler on licensing matters - so I have a question.....

Does Adobe approve of buying there software from a company who is not a authorized Adobe reseller - but says they do buy it from an authorized reseller?

In other words - I guess it is some kind of third party purchase deal - Will Adobe honor such a purchase and consider it as "authorized"???

Just in case anybody wants to look deeper into this matter - the company I want to buy it from is called "TheTechBrothers.Com".......

Thanks,

m-coon

A valid serial number or redemption code is required to register and activate programs

A company that buys OEM programs, which are supposed to be included as a bundle with hardware, is breaking the license agreement and you will receive NO support from Adobe if you have problems

I personally would not buy from a company such as you describe... especially if the price is below the price at a site such as Amazon... but go to Google and enter

    TheTechBrothers.Com reviews

and read for yourself... buying closeout software may be OK from such a site if the same software is no longer carried by other web stores

My past experience with Adobe is that they love to ask the question: Did you buy it from an authorized reseller? Although this company is not authorized - they say they obtain what they sell from an actual authorized reseller. I guess my question is if Adobe is still going to call this sale NON-authorized? I expect it will register correctly - that is not my concern or question. Do I lose any benefits of buying from this type of seller VS an authorized reseller? Id love to ask Adobe - but as  you know they do not field questions like this from potential customers.

    Thanks,

I have never purchased from a non-authorized seller, so I can't answer your question... I will only repeat that **I** would not do that
