Want to add more licenses

Hi

We have a regular adobe subscription at my company with the two licenses that follows. However, we need to work on more than two computer at the same time. I asked Adobe Chat and they told me to buy a team plan, but the prices doesn't really make any sense to me...

- I currently pay DKK 370,- per month for creative cloud all apps which gives me 2 licenses.

- If I were to buy a creative cloud all apps team membership plan with 6 licenses, it will cost me DKK 3120,- per month.

- If I just bought 3 different individual subscriptions which will give me 6 licenses as well, it would cost me DKK 1110,- per month.

Can someone please explain me what would be the best solution as the above doesn't make any sense to me... We will need around 5-7 licenses at the company.

Thank you

FIrst: You have ONE license that you may install on many computers and activate on two computers give that you do not use the programs at the same time.

You will need for each concurrent use one licence that can be activated on two different computers.

So you're making a mistake thinking you have 2 licenses for concurrent use with one plan.

Second: Best solution would be CC for teams licenses, as recommended, as those allow for license user management and come with tools for installing the products needed.

If you have users only using Illustrator or Indesign or a single product, you can also buy single app plans. That could be a solution for you saving money. Single app plans are available for CC for teams of on individual licenses.

In a single user environment, as you have currently, you would need an Adobe id per plan which starts very soon to get unmanageable.

Thank you for your response.

With the subscription I have now I can work on 2 different computers simultaneously. Even though we're working in the same program.

What I don't understand is simply that it is cheaper to have 6 different adobe id's with their own subscription, than to have one CC for teams membership with 6 licenses. How does that make sense?

If the company want to work on adobe programs at the same time on 6 different computers, is the only option to get CC for teams and choose 6 licenses?

No, if you have one license you are entitled to activate two computers given that you do not do concurrent use. There is, however, no technical brake build in to disallow concurrent use. It's in the license terms. Basically you are breaking the license terms if you do not have two active subscriptions.

With my car I can ride at near to 200km/h, but it's not allowed. It's kind of the same thing.

A teams license adds a bunch of tools for user management. But each teams license entitles you to activate the software on two computers. My teams 6 seats teams license I manage allows for activating the programs on 2 computers each (I have a desktop workstation and a laptop).
