Questions

I am brand new (and I mean like I have like an hour of use time) and I was wondering when I use split/live view I can't interact/click on anything. It shows the element I'm selecting and I can't click on anything. I know you can pull it up in your browser but I want to work on the website from the front and backend as I go. Any help will be super appreciated. 

Hi All. I have an image that goes under the navbar and is reponsive but when it  gets to a mobile size the image completely disappears.  I know we talked about some of this before. I just don't understand this issue very well. Any input? Thanks 

Hi All. My nav.shtml file is included on my page.  It shows up nicely except when I get down  to mobile.  The hamburger menu will fold down but not up.  I am using server side includes and when I pulled the include out of the page and put the actual navbar code into the page it works fine. So it must something to do with it being an include.  Has anyone ever found a work around for this?  I only wanted to to have one nav.shtml included in every page so I could only change the nav.shtml file. 

 When I open my website in Chrome, the navigation does not work, it does work in Safari and on my android phone. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have been using adobe products since early 90's  and Dw for years in Creative Suite 3 Design Premium to run a few local websites Now I'm blocked out requiring authorisation code but not able to contact any of Activation sites, I am in the UK using Mac Pro 3.1 El Capitan tried it on my  iMac 27" Mojave same problem ????Help! Phil 

Another Disabled or depreicated 'feature'. No ASP of ASP.Net support in DW CC. At: * Vista/Windows 7: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC\Configuration\DisabledFeatures there are a some .mxp files to add these functions back. Took the  steps required to convert mpx to ZXP.http://www.projectseven.com/products/cloud-install.htmThe extension, ASP_JS_Support.mxp, once converted throws an error. It is searching for files in directories that do not exist. There is  Menus.xml file in the /configuration/Menus/ directory, the the 'element' is not in the file at all. See image below. This is my most required function.When we open a new file, many file type starter pages are no longer available including ASP, Cold Fusion etc. Are these going to be added back? I have a problem with DW 21.1 with find/replace with regular expressions. I want to delete all the white space on a line, but not the line itself. This has been a problem for a while, not just this version. Search if the line has only one or more spaces and/or tabs: ^[ \t]+$ Replace: (nothing) The find highlights the correct lines. Hitting "Replace" multiple times fixes each line one at a time as expected. "Replace all" does not find anything!! Suggestions? Thanks

Hi everyone, Is there a way to stop the text from wrapping under a pseudo-element when used with list items? In the example provided, you see how the text, in all but the first line, wraps under the pseudo-element. I would like to have the text align under the first character (red line). Nothing I've tried has worked thus far. Any help would be very much appreciated. Kind regards, Mark

hello all- i'm updating an old website and they have a sort of self-serve reseravtion system for their ski club. members fill out a reservation form then when submitted, the simple text data shows up on this other page that they can access to see reservations that are already made. I have created a table for an image in Dreamweaver CC 2019. After putting it together in Dreamweaver software, it looks perfect and everything is touching each other to form one solid image, but when you go and view it in Chrome (Browser) it displays 2 horizontal lines above and below the "Contact us" button. See attachment. How can I get rid of this? I've tried everything. All my borders, cell padding and cell spacing was set to "0". Can somebody please advise?

I am new to Dreamweaver and Coding. How can I learn web site creation easily? I feel like a daunting task with Dreamweaver with codes etc. Any help is appreciated.    

I have just come back to DW after several years and have found a lot of changes! One that I do not understand is that the standard toolbar floats and seems to be undockable. Having done a quick search, I came across a sugestion that all that was necessary was to drag the toolbar by the dark area on its edge to below the menu tabs and a blue docking line would appear. It didn't, so, not too sensibly, I tore off the common toolbar and now can't get that to dock either. I'm assuming that this is not a feature! Advice would be most welcome.

I am NOT a web designer, but somehow, with the help of the local library and templates I managed to create a website back in 2008. I updated DW till 2015 & was very happy with it, but now it is sluggish and I am ready to update. I'm an old fart with a pitiful memory. So I downloaded the 2020 DW version and I stared at a blank screen, went to site manager and I had a brain freeze. I just don't remember. I guess I thought when I updated my old 2015 version the new version would be automatically populated. My site has over 400 pages so I can't afford to screw it up. Is there a way to get it from the cloud or download from server and populate the 2020 version? If not, can you share a link for old dummies?

Hello, I have been given 4 stories tonight and what I can and cannot use here.  I cannot seem to get across to Adobe support that I MUST either use and IOS made application OR an Adobe web based application.  My office is totally mobile and has been now for 5 years.   First, Adobe sales told me that I could use the IOS app called Spark.  Which I see is a great app for simply design, which is what I am after, BUT I could not find anywhere to use my own privately owned/purchased domain.   I want to be able to publish my website quite simply using whatever Adobe application or process that I should use.  Because Dreamweaver is an intermediate/advanced web design application, I figure surely you all know what an IOS/iPad user like myself should be using.   Please help...   Thanks,    Erik

I have very limited skills in Dreamweaver, but have been able to make minor edits to our web pages.  I recently tried to replace a flash animation with just a static image.  The web page previews fine in Dreamweaver and on the local machine directly in Edge and Chrome.  When I uploaded the changes, I only see a small icon in the top left corner of the image area, but the image does not appear.Any suggestions?

I get these icons instead of a panel with more information. How do I change that?

Hi everyone,  I have a simple piece of code but the cosing script tage on line 20 is causing an issue. As you can see in the image i have attached i am adding a string to the pageContent variable. inside the string i have a script tag containing an alert. the opening tag works perfectly the way it should but the closing script tag has decided to connect to the open script tag on line 6. This shouldnt happen as the closing script tag is inside the string and should not perform as a tag. is there a setting i need to change to fix this or is there a problem with the software ?  

I their! First i'm very sory for my bad english is not my first language.So I try to compress scss file on save with Dreamwaver with Compass enabled on my Mac with OSX Big Sur. I won't work. If i uncheck Compass it work, but i really really wony Compass ;-)... I have got this error message "Ignoring ffi-1.11.3 because it's extensions are not built. Try: gem pristine ffi --version 1.11.3". I had a hard time to find how to do that but i manage to find how, so i did, but... didn't work... i surch google, find some others way to the same thing but, I'm realy not sure i did the good things (cause it's very complicated and like I said english is not my firs language) please!! help!! 🙂Thank you so mush
