Hello!Sorry for my noob question, but iam new at dreamweaver and iam new at web dev. I just wanted to ask you guys, if it is normal, that my dreamweaver is very hard lagging while scrolling. In other programs, it is not for example brackets. And its not my pc, i have a 3.5k € pc. Can someone help me if it is normal or not ?

The about screen for DW was confusing to me (it has numbers in 2 places) so I just screenshotted that and added it here to this post so you know which version I'm on.Mac OS Catalina 10.15.5The subject pretty much describes the entire issue.  The only thing I'd add is that "appears ok" means the asterisks next to the file names/tabs appear when new changes appear and go away when I save the file, but when I actually open the file in other programs, or re-open DW the changes are lost!How can I begin troubleshooting this?  

I want to add horizontal space between 2 images that are side by side on the webpage. Right now they are touching one another.Any help appreciated... 

I am building a flash slideshow in Dreamweaver 8. I have followed online tutorials on how to do this, but I cannot figure out how to batch-insert the files for my show at "imageURLs" in the Flash element. Obviously, inserting each file individually would be ridiculous since there are over 100; I am sure I am missing something obvious. Any help would be much appreciated.

I am using Dreamweaver CS6 and I use Yahoo Servers (Aabaco) and can no longer connect to the servers with Dreamweaver's FTP to update my website. They now require an FTPS and TLS 1.2 connection. From what I read on the forums CS6 will not be updated to make the TLS 1.2 connection. My question is does Dreamweaver CC support TLS 1.2?

I have an old site I support with dreamweaver CS4. The site seems to have a root folder problem. The links have seemed to have all changed to my document folder and I keep getting an error message that the files aren't in my root folder, but they definitely are.  I am wondering how I can make sure that the links point to the root folder and not my documents folder.  How can I change my root folder. Also should the root folder set up, should the links be relative to the document or site root? The site is very old, and is getting buggy. I am trying to convince the group to upgrade!!!Thank You in advance for any help.  

Hello, all, I've had to get a new laptop from work, and have installed Adobe CC 2018 on it.  When using Dw, I keep getting these "feature popups" that are driving me up a wall.  Please see image.  How do I get these annoying things to stop appearing?? V/r, ^ _ ^

I'm trying to set Snap scrolling to a horizontal scrolling website I am building and it doesnt even get suggested by Adobe Dreamweaver 2020 let alone work? Does dreamweaver allow for the CSS property "snap-scrolling"?  would appreciate any answers thank you!

Hi there, I need help with something.I have probably 50 images that were done via screenshot on my monitor which is a 32" Screen Size 32 inResolution 1080p HDNative Resolution 1920 x 1080Aspect Ratio 16:9 Basically I took each of those images and made an html file with each one and have set coordinates so when you click on a particular part of an image, it goes to the next html file which contains another image file. My only problem is on my computer it's perfect, but I'm sending this to my work colleagues and some of them are using a work from home laptop which also has a resolution of 1920x1080,   Type:  14" - IPS  Resolution:  1920 x 1080 (Full HD  Widescreen:  Ye  Image Aspect Ratio:  16:9 On their computer, you have to scroll from left to right on each page, I realize it's because the image itself would have been too big as the screengrabs were done from my monitor. Hi all,So I'm trying to edit a staff members photo in the database I have created. There are three browse buttons for different documents to upload.I can add the photo and save it in a location and it stays there. Hi! New computer and the F drive that I had my sites on is now the H drive. Is there a way I can change the drive letter for all of the websites at once without having to go through the site manager one by one?

Ok would love to know if anyone else is having this issue on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4.  When working in Dreamweaver, clicking on an item from the INSERT palette doesn't work as it should. Takes approx. 10 clicks before it will insert the item in your code. Same issue with html and bootstrap items.  Some items insert with a single click of the mouse, like HEADING, SECTION, FOOTER, but others not working without multiple attempts/CLICKS. Any ideas?  

I just installed the 20.2 update last night and when I went to commit my staged files from a recent update I'm working on, nothing happened. I cannot pull anything from the server either. It's like all my connections to different sources have just stopped working. EDIT: I also tried managing remotes. Testing the login doesn't work. I even tried inputting the wrong password, I just get no response from Dreamweaver. Windows 10 1803 x64

As new user to this "flagship" of web-editors I have a few questinons:1. When will DW update the built in bootstrap version to latest stabel version2. Alot of included templates seems awful old..Do I miss something to update or is it the policy at DW to not update to often?

Hyperlink display files listed in a folder if Edge is used as the browser. We created and internal website for sales to display customer testomonials. Chrome displays correctly but Edge browser does not. Is there something I can do in dreamerweaver to allow the display of the page? Click on link screen flashes and disapears. Hello, I'm currently designing a website in Adobe Xd for a company I'm working for and they love it but want to make it an actual website.  I don't have much experience in Dreamweaver so I'd like to know if it's possible to create these effect's (see video) and how difficult it would be to do so.  The company wants to actually use the website as well, for customers to purchase items and browse so I've researching Shopify and you can edit code on there as well, so would that be better to not worry about sales transactions, inventory and all that. Any type of advice/guidance regarding this is welcome. Thank you,David
