Hi, I have a question about website creation using Dreamweaver CC. So in this moment I'm developing a website using HTML in Dreamweaver. In this website there is a page called 'product', in this page there are some content such as image, description and specification. And the problem is I have to make about 30-50 product. It means I have to duplicate the product's html file and change the content 1 by 1.I'm wondering, is there another way to make my job done easily? I mean I'm asking about something like an auto generate content. So what I should do is I just need to create 1 product page, and link it with some database file such as XML file or anything. In this XML there are exactly 3 column like the content in my page.And the way it works is I just need to input data in an XML file and it'll auto generated HTML page with the content in my XML file, can I do that?Thank you.

I have a a dropdown menu and can't figure out how to customise it.This is it before I click it and shown below it what is looks like after.I'm trying to figure out how to change the colours of the menu button when clicked.Ive tried editing in the style.css using the code.style-nav button:active {}But did not help. I'm a once-in-awhile user of Dreamweaver CC2017. I'm using it to make manual edits to a fixed-layout ePUB I made, but I'm finding the HTML could use some help in making it easier to read. Dreamweaver is not uploading my site to the right folder. on site management I have the right server folder. But every time I upload it on go daddy it isn't the rightfolder. Go daddy told me to contact Adobe. I am angry and frustrated because I can't get a hold of you. You disabled online chat tech support. When i try to phone call I get hung up.

Hi,I am trying to add an auto responder to one of my existing forms I made in Dreamweaver.  If it has to be php, please give me detailed instructions on how to set up the form, and more importantly, how to set up a php file.  Also, where does that php file go? I am working on an e-commerce website in Dreamweaver Bootstrap, and because many of the html files need to have the same name (ie: shirts - women.html, pants - women.html) I put these files inside a folder, however, I cannot find a way to get these files to show up when I upload. I get the 404 File Not Found error message. I have tried changing the name of the file (ie: shirtswomen.html & pantswomen.html) and that has not worked.I would appreciate any thoughts & recommendations.Happy New Year to everyone.Carolyn

So like, the nav bar I have created "about me etc etc" is an image but is there any possible way to link the "about me" and the other 3 words to another html page? Because it is an image after all, so does that mean that it can't? And if not, how do i create a nav bar with the black lines on top and on the bottom (as seen on the nav bar?) (Ps, made the nav bar image on photoshop)

Hi, I noticed that when I save images to the image folder of the website I am working on, the files don't show up on the list of files in the files panel. They do, however, show up when I open the images folder. I am working on a MacBook Pro from 2012 and with the most recent version of Dreamweaver. The system software is OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. I do have the correct site.Sometimes if I quit out of Dreamweaver the files show up, however, this is very time consuming and doesn't always work.I would appreciate any assistance.Thank you.

I have just upgraded to CC2017 and the preview now displays only blanks screens on any device I attach using the QR code scan.  This was working fine before the upgrade and I've checked on several IOS devices.  When you hover over the IOS name on the preview window in Dreamweaver the IOS screen does change to the Dreamweaver information screen, that showing size of screen etc.  This indicates that there is not an network issue.  Note also I have tried on two completely different networks, that were both working before the upgrade.I am using Dreamweaver on a Mac, Sierra.Does anyone else have this issue ?

Hi AllI've recently purchased Dreamweaver to create an in-house intranet.  I have some html experience (from about 10 years ago....) but not a lot of css.  I downloaded a template and was able to edit the code satisfactorily.  Looks great in Google Chrome but In IE 11 the menu only shows 1 button.Can anyone have a look and let me know where I went wrong?Can I attach a file?  I would like to attach the index.html and default.css files.  I can't link to the files because its an in-house project.Thanks AllTammy

So before adding an image, the header was situated properly and normally. But after I added in the image, the arrangement became weird. Is there something I did wrong? Also, the main part it automatically extended the height on its own. (compare the length of the main part to the first pic's main part. Its longer now? But i want it to stay the same size)These are my codes.. is there something I did wrong?

So I've successfully linked "About" to the about me page, so linking isn't the problem. But once I linked, the colour of my "about" changed from black (my original colour that i put as) to blue... How do i change it back?

Drop downs are way out of line, to the point that I can't navigate through a site or even see all of the files available.What file am i selecting? This issue extends through out the entire site making it impossible to see files that extend beyond the file menu...How do I downgrade Dreamweaver?

Hello there,I am very new to the dreamweaver so appreciate for an help. I created an online training on captivate and this is how the page looks on the browser. I want to do some adjustments on positioning and color but don’t know the exact parameters on the code for that aim. How do I push up the paragraph "Hi everyone and welcome" to the center, below the picture?

How do I close the gap between these two colomns in between?? (i used a table function to add the pictures in and adjusted padding and boarder to 0 but the gap in between, how do u get rid of it?)

I am messing with a website template in hopes of understanding Dreamweaver better, but I cannot figure out how to change the background image. Does anyone have any advice? I want to change the cliff picture with some other picture. My HD crashed. I lost Adobe Dreamweaver  and its license. When I logged into my Adobe Account I did not find any products listed. Adobe CS3 Dreamweaver was not here and neither was Photoshop CS2I need help to recover the license numbers for Adobe CS3 Dreamweaver and Aobe CS2 Photoshop and re-install themWhy they are not mentioned in the products that I purchased and whom to contact to solve this?Rudy

Hi, Can you please take a look at ericksonasphalt.com on mobile and see what code you would need me to send you to see why the buttons aren't working.  They did work, and then I changed the color of the background and now they don't.  I am frustrated and at wits end with it.  I don't have the code home with me but I can screen shot a bunch tomorrow night if I know where even to start with.  I did not build the site, just working on it.  TIA,Vel

Is there a setting I can change so that my HTML code doesnt display funky if I have a special character? I want dreamweaver to not pay attention to the special characters in my view  when I copy and past code in dreamweaver. It distorts my text in the design view. I didnt have this issue a couple weeks ago. Is this a feature I have to get used to?

So i've been looking on google for a while and nothing is really helping so i'm resorting to coming here.  I'm guessing it's going to most likely be all CSS if somebody can just point me towards which CSS i have to overwrite that controls the toggle.Thanks!

Right now as you can see in the images below, the navbar is on top of the picture, but I want that to be the opposite as if the picture is apart of the navbar.  As for code I DONT have the image inside of the nav at all, I have simply an <img> tag before i start the nav and then using CSS I lined everything up as needed. 

So, I just updated to the latest version of Dreamweaver. I open a html page, go to source code, click some tag and this awful highlighting happens. I have light-grey version of interface and turned off eveything in 'preferences - highlighting'. Didn't help.Can anyone, please, tell how to turn it off, because I'm literally struggling to see anything in this highlighting.

A moment ago, my html page had the images appearing but after a while it disappeared. Like after i re-opened the page, it just became like this! Does anyone know why? Or what I did wrong?
