After updating to Dreamweaver 2020 I can't connect with our GIT environment anymore. It keeps popping up with this: credential-osxkeychain is not a git command.  I've tried removing the keychain, renewing the user/pw, but it doesnt seem to store them anymore.I read previos Dreamweaver versions (mainly 2017) had the same problems, wich were fixed after an update. Does anyone have a clue? It used to work perfectly. Thanks in advance,Viktor  

Hi - Like many who use GitHub I got the email that password access will soon be deprecated and we need to switch to token authentication. Fine, so I went into GitHub and created my token.But how can I make this change to my site in Dreamweaver? When I go into Manage Sites and select the site, the whole Git section is grayed out, with no apparent way to update my authentication.

  I am an entrepreneur running multiple global businesses from a high end Windows 11 MSI GE75 Raider "gaming computer" (I never do gaming). I write and edit a travel newsletter with Dw, and at times when I highlight a line (like a headline from a table of contents) to move it to the actual story, the appearance of copy gets weird for several seconds.  Is this an issue because Dw is not fully compatible yet with Windows 11, or is it some other issue I should address? It is not an issue that disables productivity, it's just annoying. And since I have continuous rough deadlines I don't like interruptions, even brief ones. Thanks! --JMBCOMMS 

 Hi. I had been using Dreamweaver 2021 since last year, but I updated it last week. But unfortunately, it is not working smoothly. Even if it fulfills all the requirements. Hi,I recently upgraded from Dreamweaver CS6 to current, and I'm having a hard time figuring how I can get the action in title to show in the Insert menu. It's not the Bootstrap accordion that I want, but single collapsible boxes that I use with show-hide click for excess text. Has this taken another name, or is there a way I can pick it in my old Dreamweaver and import in the new one, or from the pages that have it? A side question: I was hoping that the new version would not be plagued by the contextual menu following the pointer (press command to show the table's strucure). I found that on my new Mac the dreamweaver program no longer recognizes the colors of the code syntax. The check in the settings to see the colors is already active but the code always remains black without distinguishing the various colors of the code php, html, js, etc. any solutions?thanks!

Sorry if i didn't put this in the right community area. Could you kindly tell me what kind of back up i can use for my DW 2021 software? Does DW come with its own back up? I had a problem with my Macbook Pro M1 last week, and the only thing they could do was to totally restore the drive. Meaning i lost every program, including DW 2021. I re-downloaded it from Adobe but had to enter everything in again. To prevent that, is there an Adobe back up i can use if something like that happens again? I have an M1 MacBook Pro 16 inches, latest Monterey version. Thanks so much.  Anita

HiIm trying to connect to repository on Github using password authentication, Dreamweaver 2021 but I get the error message below, If I understood it right this type of user/password isnt supported by GitHub ? but its the only way in dreamweaver is there any other way ?

Hello, I'm using Dreamweaver 2021. For some reason in my Files panel, I can see the name of the file and the size of the file, period. I really need to see the modification dates, and could in my older versions. Allegedly, one just right-clicks the top menu to view various columns of information. I do that and nothing happens. I tried dragging the Size column far to the left, but nothing else appears to the right of it. Does anyone have a solution for me? It's probably something very simple, but I'll be darned if I can find the answer.

HiWhen I run the command line on terminal get --version I get the answer git version 2.32.0 (Apple Git-132)but Dreameaver doesnt recognise it and opens the Git prefrences wibdow to manually allocate the Git binary on macOS, but I dont have an idea where its stored or whats the file name ?Kindest Regards

Hi all, I was able to get two videos, one on each page to work but the third page it won't. Not sure what the difference was. video is mp4 and I added the code manually autoplay=""that didn't work.selecting the box for autoplay in the properties for the video still it won't work.what else am i missing?thanks a bunch

In editing php files, right around the 2900-line mark, Dreamweaver becomes flaky, arbitrarily ceasing to color-code/highlight lines of code (they just become black-and-white text), and failing to match brackets that span significant sections of code (for example, I have a large switch statement that spans 1487 lines of code and yesterday, Dreamweaver ceased to match the brackets -- clicking on the bracket now produces no matching action either from the beginning or end (the code is proper and other php editors do match the brackets across this and other statements). Dreamweaver will still color code and match brackets appropirately in other files, in other tabs; it just flakes out over this particular somewhat large php file (and I do not want to break the file up into includes, etc).

After using Adobe XD to mock up a new website design, I've found that my favourite function was the ability to collaborate so easily and co-edit documents in real-time with your colleagues and team members.Now the team and I are moving on to the development stage, we are looking at using Dreamweaver. Unfortunately, this piece of software does not have the functionality to be able to co-edit and collaborate in real time. Imagine how great it would be to build a website from the ground up whilst collaborating with your colleagues.I think that this feature would provide a massive win for the software and could help other teams, like ours, collaborate much easier when using Dreamweaver for web development.

Can any of you fine folks tell me why the image on the home page seems to be squeezed up when I view it on my iPhone and iPad?  I cannot see any CSS that would be responsible for this squeezed image.  Its fine in my Desktop view on my pcPlease view on a phone/tablet:  https://higgsy.co.uk/index.html In the past the solution has always been to remove the height and width properties that Dreamweaver irritatingly adds after any insert image command.Other images on the site all show fine on a phone or tabletThis page has remained unchanged for ages so I must add that I did recently add the Google Search bar to the page, is that the culprit in some way?

Using DW CS6, I was able to get all the files from the server but none of the changes I make will "take."  I sync newer files to server and I have tried manually putting files but nothing changes when I go to the site in a browser. When I make changes to the template file .dwt it does not give me the warning it used to give me and it is not making the changes to any of the pages that the template was built for. Thank you for your help.

I'm trying to have a current day and date display in Dreamweaver. I followed the guides on this page:https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/insert-dates.html but it only displays the date I created it. I've checked automatically update on save, but still doesn't work.Thanks for any help!
