Okay.. so I had my own subscription to cc but cancelled it when I purchased a team plan for my lab at school. How do I get my machine to recognize me as the admin of the new account and allow me to use my cc apps? Adobe ID is the same for both accounts?
Hello!I am trying to configure profiles for SDLs that should add PCs by their AD OU, but can't get it to work.Basically I copy the value of the distinguishedName AD-attribute (CN=pc001,OU=clients,DC=contoso,DC=com) and paste it into the profile-permissions (added "" make no difference). I also tried without the CN, still getting the PC assigned to the default profile. If I create the report from the default profile, the OU is in there, the exact same way.Another weird thing I noticed is that the formatting of the AD-OU-string gets messed up and formatted like this:CN=pc001OU=clientsDC=contosoDC=comWas anybody successful using the Associated Machnies by AD OUs?Thanks in advance!
There is a password protected file in the Preflight folder created when installing Acrobat Reader. Is there a way to prevent this file from being generated? What is the .pfx file used for?
Hello,We are having the issue where spooling and printing is running excruciatingly slow. So far these steps seem to resolve the issue. How would I go about centrally changing the settings across the enterprise? We are using BMC Client Management so it should be possible to deploy out a rule to change the keys in the registry for the desktop or user. I just don't know which ones this impacts.Adobe PDF slow to printIf Adobe Acrobat Reader prints slowly try the following:Open a PDF file. From the menu, select File > Print. From the dialog displayed, click on the Advanced button at the bottom. On the Advanced Print Setup dialog, make sure that “Let printer determine colors” is CHECKED. Click OK and OK to print the document. Thank You!
We have a number of machines in our organization that are running Photoshop CC 14. We have pushed out the most recent version (20) but the old is still there. We want to remove it as it shows as a security risk. However, it has proven near impossible to remove this remotely. The uninstall string that is returned for it doesn't seem to want to run via powershell, and the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool does not seem to have command line options to run silently and ask for language and other input. This is what is listed as the uninstall string:C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDApp.exe --appletID="DWA_UI" --appletVersion="2.0" --mode="Uninstall" --mediaSignature="{2D99B50E-431D-4AA8-85C1-172A6F8BCF09}"I downloaded the Creative Cloud Packager from the Adobe Admin console in hopes of making an uninstaller, but when I log in, it redirects to our central authentication service (as it should) and then after I enter my credentials it immediately sig

I recently bec ame disabled and need to make an income. I love the adobe software and think I can make a career working on adobe as a source of income. Is that a possibility?
Dear Adobe,We are happy that the collaboration workflow got improved and it seem to work better! Now a real Life standard situation:We all have in-house and freelancers we work with so it would be great if that would be covered by the team concept!Example:ASSIGNED | FLOATING CONCEPT4 assigned licenses for the in house Editors 6 licenses for freelancers - they are all in the team system once they login they get assigned one of the license. Why? - we know who did the edit and we also don't have to un-assign and reassign people or worst having licenses running under user1 2 3 4 5 6 and an excel sheet that says who was working on the user when to figure out who was the guy that deleted the master timeline / picture etc. I think floating Licenses will be a massive improvement and help adobe users a lot.Thank you, hope that can be implemented soon!!Rodrigo

We have a large number of machines in our organization that have Creative Cloud and Acrobat DC, but their copy of Acrobat DC is a few versions behind. I want to push out an install of the most recent version via SCCM and I seem to be having trouble getting it to work properly.I created a package on the Adobe Admin Console, it contains Adobe CC and Acrobat DC only. The folder is on our SCCM server and I created a package that looks in the fodler where the setup.exe resides and runs "setup.exe --silent" I've also tried "Setup.exe --mode=silent" and it always fails to run. It is downloading the data to the ccmcache folder, but is unable to run. I even tried running JUST the acropro.msi by itself and also no dice.Any suggestions? We have a current deployment of CC that seems to work fine using "Set-up.exe" --mode=silentThanks in advance.
In my environment (Windows Domain, Windows 10 clients) Acrobat Reader is hardened to the max, settings are applied via GPOProtected View=2, JavaScript disabled etc.We do receive PDF files with include JavaScripts and are a kind of automated forms. Some of these our users need to handle, disregarding the hardening. While reading I assumed I needed to add the TrustManager key, and then below the cTrustedFolders. Now, while still reading, it became more foggy, should I just add f.i. a string named T3 with value \\sharelocation\sharename\folder, or should I add first a key like cAlwaysTrustedForJavaScripts, and in there a string named T3 etc.??? I tried all of these, including to do this at HKCU, HKLM ( and then, Software\Adobe, or Software\Policies\Adobe or adding WOW6432node... enough choices). But none of these work.Yes when I change iProtectedView to 1, things work, but none of the TrustManager keys will be used then.I also tried to add cTrustedFolders with a string, and the variant
Hi.I am in desperate need of some help but it is pretty complicated. So, my work uses Adobe enterprise and my Adobe login email for a previous role was (xxxxxxx@xxx.xxx). After using this Adobe ID for awhile, MOST IMPORTANTLY for Lightroom mobile, I eventually changed jobs to a partner company and I was given a new Adobe ID login email (xxxxxxx@xxx.xxx) and my old email account was shut down / deactivated (as most companies do when you leave a company). However, I was still logged into Lightroom on my mobile using that first / original Adobe login ID (xxxxxxx@xxx.xxx).Now, I have just been travelling for 3 weeks through Europe and have been using Lightroom mobile with that first / original Adobe ID email as I was never prompted to logout or anything. So, when I returned home I tried to sync LR mobile with my desktop lightroom but I was unable to so to fix the issue I tried to log out and back into LR mobile app however when I logged back in I used my current Adobe ID that I use at work
Hi all,We deployed Adobe CC 2019 through our admin console in a full Windows 7 Pro environment. However, we started to encounter issue of “Adobe IPC Broker has stopped working“ error everytime we trigger an adobe product. After which the whole application will hang and the error message will keep popping up untill we reboot.the current interim solution is to grant user temporary local admin right and it will be fine but it is not in conjunction with my company IT policies. After users reboot, the GPO will kick in and turn them into standard users again and problems comes back again. We have tried contacting adobe support but proof to be fruitless. They suggest to grant full access to all adobe folder but it is a futile attempts.we have like 200 users and this cannot goes on. Can someone with similar experience point out some light for me. Desperate support. Thanks

Hello,I've been trying to figure out how to accept the EULA on lab deployments of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019 Macintosh. It appears that the existing solution for Acrobat Reader DC 2017 isn't working for the 2019 version.I've tried this suggestion that worked in the 2017 version for my colleagues:defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Reader '{DC = {EULAAccepted = 1 ; isFirstLaunch = 0;};}'I've also followed the suggestions in this existing Adobe Forums post which doesn't seem to work either:Suppress EULA macOS Adobe Reader 2017 Has anyone been successful at mass deploying a EULA accepted Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019 for Macintosh? Thanks,John

Hello all.On our network, updates for both µsoft and Adobe products are supervised by the Microsoft Patch Management infrastructure. When necessary, the Adobe catalog is imported in SCUP, in order to use the Patch Management for our workstations. In such an environment, is the ARM service necessary, or can it be disabled by default on our workstations? (Adobe Reader DC and Flash player are the default products used)Are the schedule tasks : "Adobe Acrobat Update Task", "Adobe Flash Player NPAPI Notifier" and "Adobe Flash Player Updater" necessary in our environment? Thanks in advance for your and your experience.Chris.
Is there a way to disable the notification emails that are sent to users when they are licensed with an Adobe product?
