HelloMaybe someone in here can assist me. So i am trying to get Single Sign On to work for our organization. When in the configure directory section i follow the sets provided to copy the cert we use for our AD FS and when i click save i get an error saying"There was a problem saving your configuration - check the values you entered and make sure you are uploading a valid (PEM base64-encoded X.509) certificate."I did save the cert as a base64-encoded x.509 cert too from the FS server. Is there anything else i could try or any other work around for this anyone might know?Thank you
Does anyone know of a report that I could run to let me know when users lasted logged in to the products allocated to them?
I'm setting up a SCCM offline deployment of Acrobat DC Pro. I don't want this to overwrite the users current default app setting - most users have it set to Acrobat Reader - nor do I want anything that will regularly overwrite their settings. Is there any way to set the installer to not overwrite the default apps for .pdf etc?Because of hot-desking we have to deploy DC Pro to all desktops, but only a small number of users will actually use the product, the others will be using Reader for most of their pdf needs. I'd use a GPO to set the default to Reader, but that then complicates things for users who do use Pro or other program for PDF's.
Ok so I've got a SharePoint 2013 environment on Server 2012 R2 and Adobe Acrobat 2017 standard edition on Windows 10Working with Microsoft I've tweaked SharePoint so that when you click on a link to a pdf within SharePoint then it opens within Adobe Acrobat outside of the browser without issue. When I select the same file and click edit though I get a pop-up message saying "We're sorry, we couldn't find a program to open this document".According to the Microsoft tech the outstanding edit issue is because in the Manage-Add On section of IE / Edge the add on "Adobe Acrobat SharePoint OpenDocuments Component" is installed, but disabled and the option to enable is greyed out.He indicates if I can get this add-on to work my error should go away. The difficult part is this is deployed enterprise why so I have to come up with a deployable solution.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
How can I get Acces to Admin console??
Hello, great and powerful Adobe Community Forums. I work for a government agency where we've just been supplied with new workstations as replacements for ailing machines. The Adobe CC Desktop App launches automatically on startup, but it looks different on the new installation and appears stripped of it's functionality. The image on the left (below) shows how it looks on our old machines, the image on the right is what we get now. As you can see, we're no longer able to install or update any Adobe software. We updated the Desktop App to version 4.7.0.400 after noticing the version that came installed was a 2017 release, but the problem persists. When I click on "manage account" under my user I.D., my browser opens to an Adobe web page ("Adobe Account, Overview"). Clicking "Download Apps" brings me to what looks like an online version of the desktop app. All the Adobe CC apps are listed on the page with an "Install" button, even though several of
Hi! Our corporate network is behind a rather tight firewall and web gateway arrangement. When we try to download Adobe products (either Creative Suite or Acrobat DC), our firewall/gateway block it. Logs show that Adobe redirects download requests to one of quite a few different download servers. Trying to put in rules for each server is a real pain. Is there either 1.) an authoritative download server where we can always point our client PCs to, or 2.) a definitive list of download servers used in US / Germany that we whitelist? I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up a separate Adobe update server, not am I thrilled with having to do SCCM packages for each product. We have the Team option.
Hi, i need that setting to apply on all computers, any idea?

I am testing out Remote Update manager, in our company. As we've for some reason been using SCCM to deploy Adobe Applications, to limited success. Now i've created a package via the Admin Console. With all the options ticked. As shown below. Now its installed, and i've signed in.However when ever I try to use RUM to update the application, it gives the following error. Also the following error. When I try use the product version command i get the following. Now i am running CMD as Admin.I don't know what is causing this error.IF i need to provide logs, i will be happy to provide them.Any help would be awesome.
I have about 300 PCs that I administer remotely. These are all Windows 7 32-bit systems (don't worry, they'll be upgraded to Windows 10 by the end of the year) which I can ONLY access via ssh command line. Any updates I run are via batch script. These systems were very locked down for our users via Group Policy. We used to have the system tray (aka the "notification area") hidden via Group Policy. Due to a new app, we had to unlock the notifications area, but now we are constantly getting "you need to update Adobe Reader" even though when reader was originally installed, it was set to "manually update" because I've been manually updating it all along. The whole point of my choosing the "manually update" option was so that our users wouldn't be annoyed and think they need to update their systems. All these systems need to match and we don't want a hodgepodge of systems out there. We don't want our users to see these update notifications. It
Hi all,We are running a remote-desktop farm of around 50 users, only around 4 of these are using DC pro. When each user sign's in, an instance of creative cloud and 'Adobe CEF Helper' is starting up (totalling to 50 instances of each).Because we are running a remote-desktop farm, typical functionality such as msconfig -> startup items is NOT available (or such as in windows 10, going into task manager and clicking the startup tab is not available either).I have also tried going into shell:startup and trying to find a startup folder in \programdata, but to no avail. Is there a registry setting of value 1/0 that can be amended to allow/prevent this startup when a user logs in? Otherwise, I can only see setting up a group policy specifically for the DC Pro users to allow the program to run and block it for all other users (which seems a bit overkill.. hopefully there's functionality to manage this from IT perspective). Having each user sign-in and select the 'no not startup' is not an op
Here's the command I have in the batch file:msiexec.exe /a AcroRead.msi /p AcroRdrDCUpd1901020069.msp /qb /norestart ALLUSERS=1 EULA_ACCEPT=YES SUPPRESS_APP_LAUNCH=YES DISABLE_ARM_SERVICE_INSTALL=1 DISABLEDESKTOPSHORTCUT=1Whenever I run it, it installs the files in the folder where installation files are and not in its proper places. The person who packaged the previous version had:msiexec.exe /i AcroRead.msi /qb /norestart ALLUSERS=1 EULA_ACCEPT=YES SUPPRESS_APP_LAUNCH=YES DISABLE_ARM_SERVICE_INSTALL=1 DISABLEDESKTOPSHORTCUT=1But that didn't install anything at all.
I work in an enterprise environment where we have about 145 users with Adobe Acrobat. A large majority of these users are on Windows 7 32 bit Virtual Machines with 3 gb ram and 2 cpu cores. That would usually exceed the minimum system requirements for Adobe Acrobat. But the latest 2019 version of Adobe Acrobat DC comes with the Creative Cloud application which is causing a lot of performance issues when we tested it on a virtual machine. So my question is how can the users run acrobat without the creative cloud app?
I have a bunch of computers (100+) which all have adobe cc 2018 installed. It works fine. With it they also have the Adobe Creative Cloud program. Which the users can open and manage by themselves. And now I have made a new installer package for 2019 where I stated that the users shouldnt be able to access the "apps" tab. And when uninstalling 2018 and installing 2019 on top of it the programs from the suite i choosed installs fine but in the Adobe Creative Cloud program they can still see the "apps" tab. What is the solution to this?

Hi all, Since the Adobe customer chat seems unavailable... for hours now I'm hoping to find an answer here: I've created a package for the deployment of the Adobe CC 2019 suite apps within our company. I did that using the Admin Console (as the creative cloud packager tool doesn't work anymore for 2019 apps). No problem so far But now I would like to create an uninstall package, how do I do that? I can't seem to find an option for that in the Admin Console...Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Can someone please state what the features are in Continuous that are not in Classic? or provide a link to list the features side by side. And what version of Classic are we up to?From what I understand Classic is only the security updates after a certain version. But I cannot find any clear documentation anymore and need to justify one over the other.Thanks.
Getting ready for an enterprise deployment of CC2018 and Acrobat DC. Trying to update the Custom Preflight Settings across platforms. I can Export from PC to MAC and import, but not the visa versa. The reason that we are doing this is to capture the output intent from the PDFs that were created with the current profile. Any clues why? I can export the KFP profiles from Acrobat 10 and import them to the PC side, but not from DC to DC.Running Mac Sierra 10.12.6 Mac Book Pro 2.8 GHz to a PC running Windows 10 64bit. Intel Core 2.6Ghz
HelloAlong with our Adobe Suites we have Adobe Reader DC and the ADOBE PDF Printer installed on a Terminal Server (Win2016).The Catbuilder application requires "EVERYONE" to have permissions on that Adobe PDF Printer - set to "Manage Documents".However, under the permissions Tab of the printer properties (I am logged on as Enterprise Admin) everything is greyed out - Impossible to change and permissions.According to a blog I read, this may be due to Adobe installing in "PROTECTED MODE", but whatever the reason, I need to be able to set the required permissions.I could not find any GPO which would help either.PLEASE HELP.
I'm trying to install packages created with the Packager on an offline Windows 7 PC. Even though this worked a couple of months ago, every package I now try fails with the above error.I have tried creating the package on both Windows 7 and 10 computers, but I keep getting the error no matter what I try. For testing I am just using a package including only Photoshop CC and Bridge CC, which should both support Windows 7. I have also tried creating a package with 2017 versions, still fails.Other things I have tried:-Copying setup files to C: and running as admin.-Manually installing the Adobe Root CA certificate.-Use the cleaning tool and remove all Adobe related software. Here is my log file (slightly edited), any help is appreciated.--------------------------------01/21/19 09:19:03:863 | [INFO] | | ASU | MSIInvoker | MSIInvoker | | | 4772 | Setup exiting with return code (6)01/21/19 09:19:21:211 | [INFO] | | ASU | MSIInvoker | MSIInvoker | | | 5900 | B
I have a Business License purchased in US and want to use it on a machine in India. Are there any restrictions? Do I need to get "global rights" enabled separately?
I have Adobe Acrobat 2017 installed on over 1,000 computers. I need to change a certain setting globally. The setting is "Ask to replace existing PDF file" option. It's currently unchecked by default. Here is how to get to the setting using a Windows 10 computer. From the Start menu search for "Printers and Scanners". Then under Printers & Scanners > Adobe PDF> Manage > Printing Preferences.
