What the going on with the Adobe Illustrator update?!It removes the Illustrator from my computer. The update is stuck at 88%.Other updates are proceeding normally.

I'm absolutely over fonts not loading after restarting my computer. This happens every single time I restart my computer or Illustrator. It only happens with Adobe fonts (Montserrat, Europa., etc). I've gone into cloud to check my fonts and they are not there. It takes me going in and out 10+ times to get the fonts to sync and show up without error. Any tips? This is absolutely riduclous.

Since I updated Illustrator a month ago, every time I save a file, the program saves a duplicate copy with a 01 added at the end. It appears that the latest version is the one with the 01. I would just prefer to have this turned off, but I can't seem to find out how. A co-worker uses the same version of Illustrator and under "File and Handling" he has the same boxes checked, but his does not save the duplicate version.Below is the message I get,Replace File: Some of the Specified files already exist in the target location. The files marked below will be replaced: "File Name"

Hi everyone, does anyone know if there is a script that would automate the creation of various ad sizes from one original signed off ad design? We create a lot of our ads rightly or wrongly in illustrator and need nearly 30 different advert sizes for each brief. We also need these to be exported in various sizes and formats? Anyone know of anything? My boss has suggested using creatopy but surely there is something within Adobe that allows us to do this now with the coming of age of AI?

Hi! all of a sudden my Illustrator crushed. I've tried reseting the computer, Uninstalling and reinstalling an older version but nothing seems to be woeking. I've managed to open a simple png but the minute itry to open an Illustrator file it stucks everything 😞 would appriciate some suggestionsThank you

When I use the rotate option in the properties panel the value instantly resets to 0 which means I have to memorize what value I'm putting in. Or if I'm doing it manually I end up not knowing how much I've rotated the shape. Is there a way to turn this off?{Renamed by MOD}

Every time Adobe adds new features to tools I've been using for decades, I have to reconfigure my production process to accommodate stuff I'm never going to use. It's for this reason that Adobe products have become the main generator of unhappiness and frustration in my profession, so thanks for that.

Illustrator 29.5.1, on macbook pro M2: I am having issue with ellipse tool... i work on logos a lot and it would be better if you can give user more flexibleity to add breaking points and withouth have the pie lines in the center. 

I created 18 artboards, each vary in detail. I then attempt to save each as a seperate .AI file:File < Save as <  Save as type (*.AI) < Save.Illustrator Options - I check "Save each artboard to a seperate file" < All < OK.The problem is that each artboard is not saving as a seperate file. Each seperate file contains all 18 artboards. See screenshots. How do I correct this so that each artboard saves as a seperate .AI file?   

 I need to view somewhere in the Illustrator interface, the value set in the "raster effects settings" panel.Is there a scripted way to implement this?I've created actions that set this value to 72ppi / 300ppi so that I can change it when the document becomes heavy and unmanageable (thanks to using only 1 CPU CORE, thanks Adobe ❤).The problem is that if I save the file, I will probably save it at 72ppi, but for printing the effects are poor and you have to set them to 300ppi.So having the value always visible on the screen, I can have more control in knowing which value is set...The problem: Can it be done and how is it done?    

Hello, When I copy a graph from GraphPad over to Illustrator, the error bars have HUGE bounding boxes (like twice the size of the overall graph).  I can't make them the proper size using Transform > Resize Bounding Box.  Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?  It means that I end up having to group the entire graph as soon as I copy it, then I can't ever ungroup it near another graph when I'm building figures.  This causes problems.  Thank you,Allison

Would like to understand what is happening here.  I have a PSD file and I flatten it to 4 layers then save the file (but leaving it open in PS)  > I go into Bridge , choose that same saved PSD file and open with AI > Save as AI file.  The resulting AI file size can be wildly different even thought the settings are the same and the file is saved the exact same way.   Example:PSD File is 2850 x 2850 @300 ppi first time I saved this as an AI file is saved as 648 x648 @300 ppi  When I did it again, same file, same settings, same everything, it saved as the same size as the PSD: 2850 x 2850 @300 ppi waht is going on here? thanks.

Not sure if it is a Mac OS issue or Adobe issue, but when I create some new image (could be jpg, psd, ai, or any file type) and then try to "Place" it into Illustrator, the image is greyed out in the import dialog. Weirdly, If I cancel, and just do Place again, then all the sudden, the image is available. Please don't respond with questions about what version of Mac OS or Adobe Illustrator I'm using, or other settings and the like. I'm just looking for an answer, not an interview. 

Looking for Pantone library in the new version of Illustrator and it's not there. Google it and AI says I have to> Window> Extension>Libraries>No go. Then Open Swatch Library> Color Books> no Pantone.Further- need to install Pantone Connect extension. Go to Illustrator help, got a link (thank you) and weed through a tutorial (I don't have time to browse). Scroll down to Plugin acquired, install using Creative Cloud and pop-up asking to allow website to open Creative Cloud Desktop App>OK> hit Install again, and it goes back to: allow website to open Creative Cloud Desktop App- over and over. Forget this- no time, I'm going to safari/google the pantone colors. Why does Adobe make things so complicated? I still need to access pantone colors for Illustrator. What am I doing wrong?

Adobe Illustrator is frequently lagging it takes time to respond. The dragging feature is not working. 

Please fix the bug!! I used to be able to open DXF files on Illustrator, but with the new update, I wasn't able to. The error message keeps popping up "The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [2067]". It's not my DXF file problem because I tried opening the DXF file that I previously successfully opened through Illustrator, but now it doesn't work. 

 Wanting it to look like 1 (pulled from canva).  Tried by using evelope distort> make with top object (image 3) and it  resulted in #2.  So basically just wanting it to "gather" tighter at the top.Thank you in advance!!

But after closing and reopening the file, all layer content shifts upward, as if the whole layout has moved. This is especially noticeable in areas that involve the artboard edges, clipping masks, or placed images.I've already embedded all images (not linked), so that shouldn’t be the issue.Could this be caused by a particular setting, or is it a bug in certain versions of Illustrator? I installed an Arabic Adobe font and after changing all the preferemces and I even tried changing the language. The font keeps appearing in english. What am I doing wrong?  

Hello everyone.I have been experiencing great latency in working with illustrator for a few days now.No upgrades of any kind have been made to either the PC or the hardware, but for some time now I have realised that the software has become unusable. You only have to watch the attached video to realise this for yourself.
