Questions

The offset path menu never opens. I also tried on Effects tab but nothing also happened. I redownloaded Illustrator, tried restarting pc but nothing... I double click the Offset Path section in Appearance tab but nothing pops up... This is Turkish so Ana Kontur means Offset Path. Btw, im trying to prepare an editable text with effects on. Can you all help me?  

Hi! With the new online platform for Illustrator, I'm noticing it's more simplified. I need to prepare a design for print but I can't find the crop and bleed option for export. Is this still available? If not, can we get it added back please! It's one of the top features needed for illustrator.

Can someone help me with the below image. I'm using the blend mode for this text but for some reason its creating a gradient. I just want the letters to extend without the radient. Meaning I want the grey area to blend into the dark area without a transion of color. I used to use blend mode for this purpose but now its creates this gradient. Can someone help me solve this issue? Thank you!

I am finding it very hard to believe that with all the advancements made to illustrator, Image trace hasn't been touched or improved in ages. You're telling me that illustrator can create whole vector images from a text prompt but can't accurately outline a font? proposterous. Truly incomprehensible. A scurge on the graphic design community.

This has been happening for several versions of Illustrator, but after working in a file for a while, my zoom tool will suddenly show the Selection tool black arrow icon instead of the magnifying glass icon.I'm currently running Mac OSX 13.6, and Illustrator Version 28.As I said this has been happening for several versions, over the last year. If I quit Illustrator and then restart it, it's fine again for a while, and then it will suddenly revert to this behavior.Any ideas about a fix for this? Has anyone else seen this happen?

Everytime I'm exporting a drawing from Illustrator with a transparent background I get white border around the drawing. I think I tried every solution I found online, but it's not working. The artboard is 2048x2048 and I'm exporting at 72ppi with Supersampling selected. I also alligned the artwork to the pixel grid with total numbers only. I even tried exporting from Photoshop, but without loosing a lot of quality I can't get rid of the white borders.  The following two images show the drawing in Illustrator and the image when imported onto another image.  Anyone have some new suggestions on how to fix this?

I have an issue when opening Illustrator files that contain linked images or PNGs. I get a message that says "Some of the linked objects in this document have been updated." Even if I replace the image or update the link, it still doesn't appear. However, it does appear when I export the file. I have already restarted Illustrator, my computer, and updated Illustrator, but I still have the same problem.

I've been getting this message in illustrator everyday since the past month whenever I try to generate a pattern, shape fill, or vector illustration. I have checked and my software is up to date, and I am connected to the internet. What am I missing? [Image description: red pop-up alert that says "We're experiencing high demand. When working in Illustrator the preview of my design does not show correctly. It gets blurry all the time (and stays that way, until I go from GPU to CPU) and shows all kind of elements which are actually hidden behind a clipping-mask for example.

After i returned my laptop to factory settings my illustrator will crash everytime i try and open a new file.I've tried to reset my preferences multiple times, i reinstalled illustrator multiple times and it still doesn't work. I have tried opening a file on photoshop to see if it had something to do with my laptop but that worked fine and i tried making a new file on illustrator on my computer at home and that works as well so it has nothing to do with my account. Does anyone know any other fix other than what comes up after a google search?

Created an AI document with 50 artboards, but the default numbering is off... Missing artboard 7, and 9, have duplicates of 8...  

I've done every possible update on windows, graphic card or Creative cloud Apps. Uninstalled an re-installed several times (Illustrator and Creative Cloud) even trough Creative Cloud Clean Tool. Illustrator still crashes when initializing plugins, more frecuently when loading VectorizeUI.aip Please help!

Hallo zusammen, ich bin absoluter Anfänger in Adobe Illustrator.Nun habe ich mir in Illustrator eine Druckdatei mit vorgegebenen Maßen erstellt. Nun füge ich ein Bild ein, welches nich genau dem vorgegebenen Format entspricht. Wenn ich dieses nun skaliere, sollen die überschüssigen Bereiche abgeschnitten buw. ausgeblendet werden. Wie bekomme ich das genau hin. Bei mir werden die überschüssigen Ränder immer angezeigt, was mich irritiert.LG Carsten

I have a group that contains multiple objects.  I am trying to add an offset path on each object, then add a 1pt black stroke to each object and each offset path. The offset paths are being created (almost) correctly, but the stroke is only being applied to one object - from what I can tell, it seems to be the back-most object in the group. I originally had the stroke being applied inside the first for loop, when I was adding the offset path, but expandStyle then made the path into a new object, which I don't want, so I moved the stroke logic to the end. Can anyone see what I need to change to get the stroke on all objects and offset paths? And bonus question ... if my object is a square, the offset path created is a filled square.  But if my object is a triangle, the offset path is a triangle with a hollow middle - a compound path.  Is there a way to make it fill that in so I have a solid triangle which I think should just be a path?  var

what would be the best way for me to create this charcter looking differently in illustrator?I'm thinking of the puppet warp tool...

Since I updated to Illustrator 2020 (v 24.0), I keep getting errors when trying to save my files. Almost every time I try to save, I receive the error "Illustrator is unable to save this document due to some unexpected errors". Once I hit "OK" and try to save again it's fine. Occassionally I get the pop-up that the file has been modified outside of Illustrator, which is hasn't been, but then I can save. Is this just an error due to the update? Will there be a fix?   {Renamed by MOD}

I receive files from clients, sometimes AI, sometimes PDF. When I open them there are frequently multiple copies of the work ontop of each other. As in, if I select a line and delete it, there is a duplicate still there, like they hit copy then pasted 2-3  times on top. it is super frustrating when trying to manipulatre artwork for production.Is there a way to stop this, or quickly delete all but one copy? 

Good Day 🙂 My temp files are 20GB worth of space and it's making my life miserable.  When I open my temp files, it's random photos, internet thumbnails, and pictures from websites I have been to. Does anyone know how to switch it off? I can't even delete these temp files because it says they are in use. your help is highly appreciated. 🙂
