Is there a way to change the color of multiple SVG files at once and then batch save them as SVG files? I'm looking for a more efficient method to edit a whole set of SVG graphics without having to open each one individually. Ideally, I'd like to specify a new color across all the files and then save them in their original format. Is there any software or scripting solution that can help with this process? Any guidance on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated!

I have the attached file, I want to make this look like a dashed line, the way the black and white photo is. I want make the green curve end and join with each of the red lines. I made the lines red and green just so it would be clear to explain, I dont care what color it all ends up. How do I achieve this? Thank you!

Heya everyone! I'm struggling in AI with this red box that appears in place of a (JPEG) image. I'm dragging my image from Finder into AI. The image isn't visible but I can move the box around where the image should be. I'm trying to arrange three of this image around a circle to make a pattern using the objects on path tool. I'm not sure if that's even possible so I came here. Hopefully someone knows whats up! Thanks for considering my request! PS. When I double click the red box the image appears but I can't do anything with it.

Quero determinar no Illustrator quais grupos de vetores serão sequencias aninhadas (com a mesmas camadas separadas) no After Effects. Sempre quando eu importo o arquivo no After ele a camada vem agrupada. Por exemplo, no Photoshop em agrupo em pastas e isso vira uma sequência aninhada no After com tudo separado, mas no Illustrator isso não existe. Alguém me ajuda?

Hi,I'm new to Adobe Illustrator, so this is most likely just user error. However, when I open a stock photo I just bought from Adobe Stock, it doesn’t show individual layers. It only appears as if it were a PNG or JPEG. I can't modify the vectors or remove the transparency grid. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi I have a logo I want to export with a transparent background in SVG format. However it keeps adding a white background, eventhough the illustrator file has a transparent one. It works perfectly when I export the file as  PNG.  Can you tell me what I am doing wrong. I have attached the file. 

Is it possible to design a flyer with 8 pages, where each page is 21 cm x 9.9 cm, and print it on an A3 sheet of paper in a foldable triplet format? or are there other ways ? As a designer I should think about it or printing house can find the ways

It's weird. I create a Square with 30cm - illustrator change 30cm to 29,9861 cmI create a Square with 50cm - illustrator change 50cm to 49,9886 cmI work with Illustrator since 2000 and never get this kind of issue..any idea?Daniel

Hi all. This is my first time altering letters for a wordmark. As you can see directly below, letters that were made by Create Outlines and not changed have a really smooth curve - it looks great.However for the letters I've editedIt's even more obvious when zoomed out Does anyone have any tips for improving this? I've tried the smoothing tool but it didn't do a huge amount. As a logo, it will be quite small and I'm concerned it looks jagged and also clearly different to the other letters. Thanks in advance   

Dear all, thank you for reading my dilemma in advance.Basically, I have a pdf file that has four fonts which is all in (Embedded Subset) Truetype (CID); encoded in Identity-H.As I am editing it in Illustrator and converting it into a pdf, I see two of the font changed to (Embedded Subset) Truetype; encoded in Ansi. I have further explored if I view the orginally pdf in Illustrator, even if I did not edit anything, whenever I save it us pdf, the font will automatically change to Ansi. I am wondering if anyone could provide me a solution so that even after I edited in illustrator and saved as pdf, the font will stay embedded, cid and Identity- H. please find attached a comparison, the left hand side is the current status after I saved it as pdf and the right hand side is a screenshot of the orginal document properties. Please enlight me on this thank you so much for your time 

Say you have a curved path, just a 'u' shaped curved path. There's 3 anchor points in that path, 2 at the ends and 1 at the middle.How do I remove the middle anchor point without changeing the shape of the curved path?

Hi there,I've been trying to figure this out for days and it's driving me nuts - how to get this effect using Illustrator.I have tried using pattern brushes and clipping masks, but still can't seem to get the level of control I need (angle direction, colours) to achieve this look.Was it created using a plugin perhaps?This reference is definitely a vector file.Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated !!{Renamed by MOD}

I create my designs in Canva and download them as a SVG and import into Illustrator if I need to size up for printing purposes. I normally place the SVG file into Illustrator, and it is the exact size. Now when I place the SVG into Canva, there is extra space around the design and the design is not the correct dimensions. Does anyone know how to fix this?

After asking my friend, I found that this problem seems to only exist on Mac systems.① Establish a clipping mask group, ☑️ Knockout;② Drawing shapes within the clipping mask group reduces transparency, but does not have knockout effect.But if I remove the clipping group and change it to a regular group, I can achieve knockout effect.But previewing in the navigator panel is normal, and Transparency Flattener is also normal. This is what I discovered while knockout in the combining group, which made me very distressed because if combining and knockout at the same time, it would be very convenient to achieve this kind of overlapping effect on a Windows computer, but I'm Mac😭 Can this problem be solved by modifying the settings?

Hello, there will be a script that restores the rotations to zero degrees "0°" of each selected object. I ask Chatgpt but unfortunately he doesn't get it. I have several objects selected with different rotation angles and doing it manually is very laborious.

I recently updated my OS from Catalina to Big Sur and I'm on Illustrator 2022. I can no longer create picture clippings from Illustrator. I used to be able to drag an object (or collection of selected objects) from my Illustrator artboard to the desktop and create a Picture Clipping file. I create these for consistency across many files or to update old artwork. I just drag a picture clipping from my desktop into an open Illustrator artboard and the objects would appear with all of the layering and swatches intact. Now I cannot drag anything from Illustrator to the desktop at all. It gives a werid noise. I can still use the old picture clippings that I've created, but I cannot create new ones. Has anyone else discovered this? I know there arent a lot of folks who use picture clippings, but they have been part of my workflow for decades. I tried using the CC Libraries as a substitute for our studio to use in a similar manner, but it was so slow compared to picture clippings. I

Has anyone experienced this before ... every now and then illustrator makes his library a lot smaller ...Is there an option to keep the library open when al documents are closed ? Thanks in advance for the feedback and with kind regards 

When the shortcut D is pressed, the default fill and stroke are set. With similar behavior, I want to make only stroke exactly the same as the default graphic style, without changing the current fill. This is probably not a feature in Illustrator, right?   Not only making the main properties similar, such as stroke width, but also making the appearance exactly the same. Of course I know that script can't handle the appearance, but I'm trying to find a path to achieve this in some way, such as dynamic actions or applying graphic styles. If it can be done with normal Illustrator functionality, that's fine.   Any ideas?

Hallo zusammen,ich habe seit kurzem ein Problem, welches mir so noch nicht bekannt war.Gebe ich Text von Hand ein wählt Illustrator automatisch immer die Schriftart "Monotype".Selbst wenn ich die Schriftart ändere und dann einen Zeilenumbruch mache wird der weitere Text wieder in Monotype ausgegeben.Kann jemand helfen, welche Einstellung das ist?Danke im Voraus.
