   Hello, I have run into an issue with scrollbars in Illustrator JSX Sxripting. The left image shows a previous version of my code where everything worked perfectly. The list of files was displayed correctly, Scrollable and cropped to fit the intended area.The right picture shows the current version of my code. Whenever I load a large number of files, they extend beyond the bounds of the ScrollView and stretch the UI beyond my computer screen. I drew in a yellow line to show where the list should be cropped. I have asked ChatGPT multiple times for a solution but to no avail. Hello,Updated to the latest version 25.2.1 (on a Mac with Catalina) and something weird started to happen: everytime I switch between apps - Photoshop and Illustrator, for example - the color settings in Illustrator change to "Emulate Adobe® Illustrator® 6.0" without asking and with no reason I can think of, also I never used this setting before and this didn't happen with the previous versions, so I'm gessing it's a bug. I've tried to save the custom settings I normally use, but it still changes back to Emulate if I switch to another app and then return to Ai. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way to fix this? It's getting annoying really fast. 

 I have a question regarding this error, I have an illustration that I want to incorporate into the worksheet but I see that for some reason it is hidden, I think it is a mask, I click on isolate mask but it does not work and when I click ESC it disappears and I have to use the lasso to select it again, attached video   

How do I raise a level to a higher one?strangely not able with with drag and drop .... 

I’m currently using Illustrator version 29.1, and I noticed that the “Find and Replace” option is missing from the shortcut menu. I’d like to assign a keyboard shortcut to this option, as I did in the previous version, but I can’t seem to find it. Has anyone else experienced this issue? And is there a workaround? 

can i use export screen feature in Adobe Illustrator to export a file as a JPG Then make PDF of the JPG file for printing?

I'm running version 26.3.1, my operating system is Windows 10 Pro version 21H1.Every time I place a PNG into an illustrator doc, either CMYK or RGB color space, it turns negative when I reopen the document to work on it. I've made sure it's an 8 bit PNG, doesn't happen to any other image format, and it doesn't matter if the PNG is transparent or not. It happens to both downloaded PNGs and the ones I make myself either in photoshop to remove a background or if I'm exporting a vector image as a PNG to place in a different doc.I've attached a before screenshot, one where I'm looking at the preview from file explorer, and another of what happens to the document when I open it. Any ideas on how to fix it? My work around for the moment is placing PSD files, but with only having so much storage I rather place PNGs.

Hi,I am working on a business card design in Illustrator. My color setting is set to CMYK. When I import SVGs and images, are they also automatically set to CMYK or do I need to adjust them manually? If so, how can I do that?Thank you very much!

Hello everyone, after adobe updated my adobe illustrator to 2025 version, i have much struggles with my programm. I cant expand the space for writings after open the space up the first time, i cant turn things around, my workingspace looks diffrent even after changing it in the settings. It´s litterly not possible to work with illustrator smooth or reasonable. Anyone ealse having this problems? anybody knows a solution?Thanks for help, i really need to work with illustrator again

In the past, when my app crashed without saving it, when I reopened it, there would be a dialog box saying my app had exited unexpectedly and it would reopen the file I was working on that had not been saved before. Now that feature no longer works. I also want to ask how to fix it

When I try to export assets using the asset export panel, nothing is being exported at all. It used to work perfectly though, but not anymore.Any tips on how to troubleshoot this?

I had a terrible lag when panning, zooming etc. in Illustrator. This only occured when holding down key shortcuts involving the space button. Panning/zooming using the tools was perfect. The cause turned out to be 'Display Pilot 2' for BenQ monitors. Quitting it and all is smooth. System: Mac mini M4 ProIllustrator version: 29.1

in illustrator i am exporting a image which size is 400x400 if i increase reaslution 72 ppi to 300 then image quality increase but also size increase of image how i can export image in high quality  without increasing size and also i export image in 72 resulation size remain same but quality is very low plase help 

I am trying to open some shutterstock eps files from 2015 and getting the following error message. It will not open in any other program or allow me to place it into an existing files. Any suggestions? OS Monterey 12.3Adobe Illustrator 26.0.2

I predominantly use Illustrator and Photoshop. I'm currently on a 2021 M1 iMac. If I upgrade to an M4 chip (Mac Mini) will Illustrator be any quicker than it already is on my M1 iMac?

Hello everyone,Is there is a way to quicken the process of changing the values of mutiple swatches simultaneously insted of clicking each one manualy. For example I have 50 swatches but I dont want any of them to be below 6 percent in CMYK  so I have to manually lower all the values of cmyk for each one individually. Ty in advance.I hope I was clear enough.  

Hello, I am having this issue where copying and object with freeform gradient applied to it and pasting it in another document it is added as a clip group and inside it is something called "Non-Native Art", it looks the same but I can not edit the gradient anymore. I added an image to clarify the issue. Thank you in advance! 

Hi, When using Transform Effect on text or shape, the diagonal lines are either jagged or in bumpy steps instead of level.If used with offset path using rounded corners then the lines become rounded bumpy. Any help appreciated thank you.Example image attached. 

 

When I use the Type tool in Illustrator it inserts a # at the end of my text, It's not in the text box but seems to be attached. How do I remove it? Also, how do I insert a Trademark symbol into my document so I can see it? Every time I insert one, I can't see it even if I bring it to the front in the layers panel. I'm new to Illustrator but have been using PS regularly for 15+ years and its easy compared to Illustrator - it looks the same but doesn't act the same! I'm on a Mac. Thanks!

Hi everyone! My Illustrator artboard is sized at 1200 pixels wide x 300 pixels high. I'm trying to place a PSD file that's sized at 1200x300px at 300 ppi, but when I do it doesn't fill the artboard as expected. Instead, it places it at about a quarter of the expected size. If I try to size it up, the resolution goes down to 72 ppi and the image is blurry. This seems to only happen when my document is using pixels as the unit--if I'm using inches, the image places correctly. I've tried both using the "place" option and dragging and dropping. I'm using Ai 2025 v. 29.0.1 on a 2023 Macbook Pro running on Sonoma 14.6. Appreciate any help I can get!

Suddenly the most simple copy and paste will not work from indesign into illustrator.It will work the other way (can copy/paste) from illustrator to indesign.Item a simple vector box (or anything else for that matter).Drag and drop, also not working.Literally NO paste option available in illustrator.I restarted with new preferences.I changed preference to switch off the SVG as per some other posts.Still not working.Making things very difficult for me, as that's something I usually do, with NO issues every few minutes.Please help!!
